Though Argalt himself seldom used the Library and it had showed with dust. Alnette frequents the Library more than her own room. Filled with various tomes and scrolls on the Dark Arts, this room is guarded by several as the most elite guards of the Necropolis's Army, barring all but those without permission. There is also much on history and strategy, and Alnette has read them all.

At the moment, the library was empty, save for the redhead resting in one of several overstuffed chairs. There was a book in her hands, though it was not open. Her eyes were closed; in the comfort of the chairs, it was easy for one such as herself to fall asleep; especially after reading for an extended amount of time. Alnette would probably wake soon, though she wouldn't leave the library for quite some time.

Remus loved libraries. They were quiet and were filled with mountains of knowledge. Although the internet could find things a lot faster, the books in here were much more legit and provided better information.
Remus looked at the dusty old tomes and he found a book that caught his fancy. The book was bound in leather and on the cover, there was an emblem of two serpents in a circle, biting each others tails. Along the spine in faded gold letters was the title. The Neverending Story. Remus looked towards Alnette, who was currently passed out in a chair. He then looked back at the book, and raised an eyebrow in curiosity. He then tucked the old book under his arm and walked over to a chair across from Alnette. The Imperator reached into his coat and pulled out some reading glasses and opened the book, not realizing what he was getting himself into.

The sound of footsteps roused Alnette from her slumber. At first she kept her eyes closed and listened, thinking it was the undead, but then she noticed they were too loud. She opened her eyes and jumped to her feet, reaching for her sword. The redhead was ready to gut the intruder until she realized it was Remus. She relaxed, but only a bit.
"Hello Remus, what are you rea--" she stopped as she rushed over to him. "Put that down right now!"

Remus was quite startled by Alnette's sudden reaction. He wasn't sure what was so bad about the book so far. Nothing cataclysmic happened when he opened it. So far it was just a book to him.
"Why not?" Remus asked a little confused. Then he smiled. "Is there sex in it or something? Some Satanic burial rite that I'm not supposed to see?"

"Some books have spells that are triggered when you do something, and that includes reading them. Better just to play it safe rather than risk it." She shrugged and took the book away from them. "And some books have been cursed or had traps set on them by my predecessor. I've encountered a few." She put the book back where it belonged.

"I see. Well this is certainly an interesting library. So, what exactly do some of these traps do?" Remus asked even more curious. He had never been in any sort of library like this before and knowing that there was danger made him even more curious.

"My predecessor had an odd sense of humor The one I seem to encounter the most is a charm to make the person who is struck by it want to, erm, have intercourse with the fist living or unliving thing they see. There are others that are worse, though not as common." She hoped that was enough to sate his curiosity.

"Well, those are certainly interesting things to put into a book." Remus said as he picked up a small ancient Kama-Sutra bedside guide. He smiled at some of the rather naughty pictures and then closed the book again. "Can I check this one out?" he asked Alnette.

"Sure thing, Alnette! I'll bring it back in a few days." Remus said cheerily. He kissed Alnette's hand and ran out of the library to go find some concubine to practice on.

Alnette chuckled as she watched him leave, then with a yawn, returned to her chair and sat down, relaxing. It was little more than a few minutes before she dozed off again.

Varnyte needed information and since he's internet was down, he decided to go to the Necropolis library for some reading material. As he enter the library, he was amazed by the rows after rows of books. " The base really needs one of these..." He said as he journey deeper into the systematic jungle of knowledge. The machete and knives made a small clatter sound as he march deeper into the rows, searching for the information he was looking for. "Ah, potion and serum ! Just what I wanted. " He quietly said as he sat down and began reading it.

"Where could it be? I know there has to be a spell for it somewhere." Al muttered, shaking his head after tossing another book to the side. There was already a fairly large pile of rejected books. It would be a pain to clean up, but Al would deal with that after he was changed back to normal.
Nearly two hours later, Al found something promising. He flipped to an ideal looking page and muttered the incantation. feeling very dizzy, he dropped to the ground, losing consciousness.

Golden contacts scanned the library, looking for a tome that looked interesting. "Hmm..." Upon finding something that had caught her interest, she walked over and grabbed the tome. Alnette then made her way to one of the overstuffed chairs and plopped into it, opening the book and immediately starting reading it. It would hopefully keep her busy for a while.
