The rolling thunder hinted a storm was on its way, and that didn't make Tempo all that happy. Although his breed of feline adored the outdores, and actually enjoyed water and swimming, he himself would prefer to be in a lake or pool rather than getting pelted by icy cold raindrops.

Grumbling to himself, he cursed himself for ditching his headphones off in his 'den' of sorts. Now he really did want his music, especially if he was going to be cooped up somewhere for an extended amount of time. The chain around the forest cat's waist clanged once he picked up the pace, coming upon a children's park. Hopping up onto the unstable bridge, Tempo tensed when it moved more than he expected it to, then scuttled up the jungle gym to the tunnel. Cover from above, below, and both sides...plus, there were windows looking out as well. Smelled a little funky, but all in all, an okay place to rest for the time being.

Settling down, Tempo rested on his back, large tail curling between his legs to practically engulf his body...built-in blanket to boot. Maybe he could fit in a nap before heading out into the rain if it kept up for too long.

Phoebe didn't care about the incoming storm that threatened her fun. Sitting upon the swing in the children's playground, she pushed herself back and forth, eyes straying to the discarded nail bat not to far away. The female was still dressed for the beach despite the chilling weather of autumn and she didn't seem to notice it. Her bare legs kicked with her efforts, sandals strapped firmly to almost dainty looking feet. Phoebe was, in a word, happy. It was funny how a childish thing such as playing would make the usually rough-and-tumble female smile and giggle like a little girl.

Going faster and higher, Phoebe launched herself from the swing, back aching, hands above her head as if reaching for the sky. Once she was fully in the air, she curled herself and fell, twisting her body like only a feline could, she landed in a crouched position and rolled once to land on her back in the soft grass, a laugh escaping her lips. That's when she heard the bridge move and shake like someone was on it. Getting to her feet cleanly, she grabbed the bat by the handle and walked towards the bridge. Another cat had been here, the scent was so strong. Most cats would hide in the tunnel.

With that thought, she walked over to it, crouching down and peering it to see a large, fluffy tail. "Oi! What the hell are you doin' down there?"She asked, standing back up, tapping the top of the tunnel with her bat a few times approximately above where she'd seen him.

Damn, he hadn't even seen her coming. As to why he wasn't paying any attention to this being a possible territory, he wasn't 100% sure...but either way, he didn't give a damn honestly. Tempo had begun to drift off, curled in a very feline position and hiding under that tail. It was the sound of lithe footsteps against the metal flooring that made his ears twitch, and his consciousness to snap back.

Tempo's fur bristled when he heard her voice, then something hitting the top of the tunnel. Rolling himself over, having pleny of room to do so, he settled into a crouching position--and was able to see her legs, and a good portion of her belly from his position here.

Well--that set him into a dumbfounded stare for a moment, then her angry voice made him snap back. "What're you doing running around yelling at people?" He growled back, feigning annoyance since he really wasn't all that bothered at the moment. Tired, if nothing else, but far from bothered--especially after seeing those pretty legs.

When he rolled over, she crouched back down. When her green eyes spotted the male's face, an amused smirk appeared on her face. "Well, that's because you're near my territory." The answer was truthful and simple enough. She'd put the bat down behind her, her slim, gray tabby marked tail was resting upon it, the tip twitching a bit. "What? Afraid of a little rain?" Her voice went from annoyed to teasing. Shifting herself, one of her feet came out to tap him on the shoulder before she got back up.

"Baby. You look new around this part," Phoebe's voice chimed against the wind as a low rumble of thunder sounded in the distance. Her ears twitched, loving the sound and then sighed happily, grinning at the sky. "I can't believe a male would be afraid of rain." She was just trying to get him to come out by calling him a chicken. Honestly, she wanted to see the rest of him and see if he was as good looking as his face was. She pushed her hair from her face and turned back to look at the other, scooping up her bat and heaved it over one shoulder, waiting patiently. "Why are you at a park if you don't want to get wet, anyway? Smartness."

Swinging the bat, Phoebe turned and jumped, clambering up on the tunnel, straddling it as she waited. "C'mon, smart boy. What's your name? What's your M.O. here?"

He looked dressed for the occasion of rain--and snow, for that matter. His white over-shirt was torn and tight over the black long-sleeve shirt underneath. The sleeves seemed a bit too long for him, but eh, he couldn't complain. The amount of metal on him might be somewhat surprising, as well. A chain necklace loose around his neck, multiple rings on his fingers, and the chain 'belt' of sorts around his waist. His darkly marked tail and ears blended nicely with his auburn hair, while his dual-colored eyes completely went against the rest of him, practically glowing blue and gold as they gave her a one-over.

"...SeungHyun," he caved in pretty easily, didn't he? "Call me Tempo. And what's yours, Kitten?" The name wasn't meant to be an insult at all--not on her age, at least. he had a tendency to call females kittens...that and HeeChul. It was a hard habit to break. That and Tempo figured he was older than her anyway.

Kitten, hm? So he had the same habit she had at one point in time. Until she got her a**-kicked by someone a lot more experienced at fighting than her. Chuckling, she watched him emerge and then shook her head. He was ready for anything but the heat, it looked like. Leaning forward, she put her elbows on the end of the tunnel and stared at the boy and his metal. She had a bit of metal on her face. Multiple eyebrow piercings and a tongue piercing one couldn't see unless she flicked it out. Which is what she was doing as her tail twitched amused behind her.

"Mn.... Tempo it is. Guess I have to give you my name, since you asked so prettily. Phoebe." That was as much as an introduction as he was going to get, she was afraid. "So, baby, why are you here? You didn't answer that question." Baby was just like 'kitten' for him. She knew this pose was enticing him to look away from her face, but she didn't care. It was nice having everyone look at her in a way that made her feel sexy. But only when she wanted it. Like Phoebe did now. Most times, she'd kick a males a** for talking to her or looking at her.

As alluring as her pose was, he managed to keep his eyes on her face. Tempo had respect for other cats--especially other cats with weapons. And the weapon she had was somewhat worrisome, to say in the least. Nothing he wanted to mess with.

Making a mental note of her name, he kept his bright eyes fixed to hers, and slowly moved back a step or two so he could sit down. The rain had yet to begin, so he'd just relax and get ready for whatever it was she wanted...whether it was to chase him off of her territory with that bat of hers, or possibly keep up the conversation...either he could deal with, as long as it ended up out of the rain.

"I was wandering by," he admitted honestly, shrugging afterward, "Didn't think this was anyone's territory, didn't smell anyone. But it rained earlier, probably washed away the scent." Funny how he could just sit down and have a calm conversation with someone who had just been yelling at him and insulting him. He'd much rather sprawl out and sunbathe than get in a fight.
