Roxy had polished up her wrench and was heading towards the forest where Valiant had told her to meet her. She had a small butterfly knife in her pocket she'd found at the Aquarium it was easier to carry around all the time, since it was much smaller then her large wrench. She Sighed looking around before she walked into the forest, her heart was pounding in her head and in her chest. She could barely breathe as she held her breath waiting to find Lir or Val to show up. She had no idea what Lir looked like in fact she wasn't even sure what the girls name was. She was so terrified that Raco or Jiro would walk out and try to take her on. Her throat tightened and she reached up letting her fingers slip over the claw marks that the male had left her to die so long ago. Her blue eyes darted around trying to make sure that the male was no where in sight.

Liraeal decided it best to let Valiant set up, not that the other female was keen on that. Lir abused her authority often, but always had at least twelve reasons for doing so. She wanted to see how Rox acted when meeting in a confrontation, and let’s face it… that’s what Liraeal was known for. She silently waited up in the tree nearest Roxy, smiling like a Cheshire cat. When she saw the woman below her she purred to herself, taking it all in, and finally letting her presence known.
“Hello dear.”
Val had planned everything out, she had Raco taking their daughter to go play, and he knew that if he came home early she would kill him if he treated Roxy poorly. She sighed contentedly as she looked about the clearing she usually trained, the trees were thinner here, and along the meadow line there were various weapons, though her favorite, the ones that never left her, were stuffed into both boots at the side. Valiant had tied up her hair for this occasion and dulled most of the weapons. She double checked everything, just to make sure that it was all there… and then sighed inwardly. Why had she let Lir go get Roxy? That girl was going to make a mess of everything as always, Liraeal could have done this no problem and sat on her a**… so there had to be a hidden motive…. Or six. It seemed like there was going to be more than just practice on the field today.

Roxy could have sworn she heard Jiro's voice and knew that the girl didn't like her. She swung her wrench up and looked towards Liraeal, She smiled softly and bowed at the other to be curtious, " You must be Lir." She nodded at the other, " Its very nice to meet you, I'm Roxy." She introduced herself, It was taking everything she had to keep her attitude in check. She feared most of the anbu. "Thank you for taking time from your day to see me. And to teach me." She said biting her lip as she looked the girl over. She was wearing just a bit more clothes than Roxy herself, and the woman had gorgeous tattoos. She smiled once again waiting for the other to make the next move. She felt like she was kissing a**, and she didn't want to look desperate or anything. She wanted to look tough, to seem like she really could take this type of training. Her heart began to pound, If anything went wrong in this her whole plan for her and Sol and the Aquarium was ruined. She couldn't let that happen.

Liraeal smiled, though it was little more then a lift of the corner of her mouth, exposing a bit of fang. She slowly made her way down the tree and around the other, looking her up and down, searching for something, and when she found it she snorted. “Why yes, I am Lireal, why my dear, your knees are quite weak, and you’re easily intimidated. Not good at all if you are to train with us, now if you please fallow me, Your life just got quite a bit more complicated.” She did not wait until slipping into the trees and nearly disappearing, it wasn’t like the clearing was far from this spot, if she Lost Lir then she would be able to find it… eventually. The fisrt thing she had been taught was how not to loose ones temper, and she wanted to see how well Roxy would figure out that rule.

Valiant walked to the edge of the clearing, a beacon of light amid dark, she had never been able to disappear into the shadows like Lir, so she stood out like a Sun in darkness. When she saw the top of her melted gun metal haired… friend? Enemy? Companion. When she saw her companion coming through the tree’s she debated calling out, all the while searching for Roxy and possible damange.

Roxy tried to keep up she honestly she did, but she lost Lir not but half way threw the clearing. she grumbled to herself but kept walking listening to the faint footsteps she could hear not to far off. she figured she was close to Lir, and hopefully the clearing. She walked into the clearing a while after the other woman had and she smiled at Valiant. " Hello val." She muttered bowing towards the other. She felt more at peace now that someone she knew was around.

Valiant put her hands on her hips and glared at Lir who came to the clearing quite a bit before Roxy showed up. She hated it when Liraeal decided to take matters into her own hands, she was notorious for it. Val smiled comfortingly at Roxy when she made it into the clearing. “Well this is it. Your training begins here.”
Liraeal smirked at Valiant and her guest before nodding. "Yes now begins your training. Perhaps you will show me what you know thus far.” The side of her lips curved upward in a mocking smile. In her hands rested her epee glistening in the dappled light from the forest.
Val looked in the direction Ishtar was coming from. He had Raina by the hand to watch, and she smiled brilliantly at Roxy, he solemnly nodded, being the medic on the field he was distant as always.

Roxy couldn't help but smile and wave at the little girl that was holding onto Ishtar, She hadn't meet her yet but she was adorable and Roxy was a woman who wanted kittens, she got side tracked easy. 'Boy' She thought to herself 'Ishtar has grown faster than Sol'. It was that thought about her little boy that helped her turn her attention back to Val and Lir. " I'm ready." She muttered bowing quickly to the two and stepping back ready to fight if someone came at her. Her fists up to protect her face, her wrench tucked into the tool belt that Apollo had given her a long time ago. She could grab it at a second's noticed if she needed it.

Valiant sighed and stepped between the girls, rubbing her temples softly. “You hesitated Roxy. You may not believe it to be true, but in that small amount of time you stood there with your eyes glazed over Liraeal could have run you through about three times. I want you to do something for me, before you learn to fight you need to learn to clear your head, so sit down cross-legged and put your hands upward to the sky on your thighs.” Val looked over to Lir, glaring at her before taking out her own Sai and mentioning for Lir to do the same. Roxy may not of believed it, but Liraeal would have killed her, stabbed her repeatedly just to make a point, with little more than a ‘oops’ when yelled at about it later.
The Manx trotted over with the Sai and epee in her arms giving them to Ishtar and taking Raina by the hand. Val knew her daughter would join them eventually anyway, she loved what Val was about to teach Roxy. Ishtar… was a little bit less enthused about the idea of meditation. She sat down parallel to Roxy with raina, and Lir sat facing them all. “I want you to breathe in and out while closing your eyes, just focus on your breathing and nothing else.”

Roxy sighed slightly, But she did as she was told. Sitting down she crossed her legs Indian style and closed her eyes, realxing herself as she breathed in and out slowly and carefully. She was trying to let go of all the thoughts running threw her mind, thought of puff and how long he'd been gone and thoughts of how she so badly wanted a child. Slowly she began to only breathe, she couldn't think of much else. Steadily in and out, in and out. That was the only thing on her mind. She wasn't sure what she'd be doing next, or when Val would tell her she could do something else, but she didn't want to think about that. It was only hindering her from the task at hand. She focused harder on the steady rhythm. In and out, in and out. Soon it was like a trance. The only thing she was doing was breathing. Her head was clear.

Staring at the figure as she went under Valiant smiled, knowing exactly when she had cleared all of the needless thoughts from her mind. She lifted one hand, crouching in front of the woman and poked her right in the third eye with a grin.
“Never let your guard down. Even when clearing your head.” The grin in her voice was obvious, even if Roxy couldn’t see her. Raina and Ishtar had silently sat down, watching… waiting. It seemed Lir was loosing her patience.
“Your teaching her things kits know val! Can we PLEASE get on with it?” her voice had a winy edge and Val found herself getting frustrated by the moment.
“Lir. Shut the hell up, this is what makes you such a weakling… when you think you can take on the world with the thought of something else in the back of your head. People die that way.” She scanned Roxy’s face, searching for something to give her a clue as to what it was Roxy really wanted.

Roxy grumbled slightly after Val poked her in the head, but she kept her composure, Keeping her guard up. She listened to everything moving in the forest, She could hear footsteps if someone tried to jump on her. When Val and Lir started to bicker lightly the girl opened her eyes and looked around. smiling slightly at Val as the other female watched her. " something wrong?" She asked letting out a small sigh. She wanted to get into this training session, she was so tired of being pushed around by Rave even if he wasn't around much and she wanted to make the aquarium hers so that she could show the other's she was strong enough to run a territory. "What do I need to do next?" She isn't as eger but still wants to get started.

With a narrowing of eyes Val looked over to Lir, nodding her head. "Keep your mind clear. It makes the rest of your senses stronger." She stepped back, motioning for Ishtar to come closer to her side, Raina following devoted as ever. In some fantasy in her mind Ishtar and Raina ran off and got married, but fat chance in that really. Ishtar was devoted to Marrie, and only Marrie. Just like his father go figure.
Liraeal came forward suddenly, from behind Roxy, jumping over her head and drawing her weapon. "Stand quickly, I don't take well to lazy students." A smirk formed on her lips, someone to play with. Someone she could finally take out -most- of her aggression on. She turned, her back to roxy. "better be quiet too, my heads clear and my hearing is impeccable." She made eye contact with val, and noted her lightly touching Raina's shoulder. Avoid the kids... got it.
Good cop bad cop anyone?

Roxy's eyes snapped open and she shot up from the ground quickly pulling the small knife from her pocket as she stared at the other female. " I hope your a good teacher, I'll be taking lots of notes." She muttered flipping the knife open in her pocket and taking a few steps away from the woman and taking on an aggressive stance, She was trying her damndest to keep her head clear but It wasn't easy for her, She hadn't ever had training like this, She been in a few street scraps but nothing that would compaire to this. She had to be ready, She gritted her teeth trying to only think of the woman in front of her as she lunged at Lir.

What roxy didn't realize was that Liraeal had managed to position herself directly facing the sunlight, so that it would fall into her students eyes. Roxy had asked to learn to be strong, and Lir had every intention of giving her a crash corse in it, no questions asked. Valiant would work with her for all the little things she did wrong, work to improve them... but Lir... she was the one that would whip the lesson into her.
"Do not speak during a fight. You waste your breath."
The older femme dodged to the left as the knife sailed past her head, not a hair catching on the silver blade. She had been watching Roxy's shadow, and the glint of the silver reflecting light into the dark shadows of the trees. Silly girl, she would have to do better than that. Liraeal kicked a leg up as she spun, aiming for the back of her new students knees. She moved her body so that she was bent over as her leg lashed out, tucking herself so that Roxy's knife would not reach her if she were to lunge backwards with it at the same time.

Lir managed to knock Roxy in the back of the knee because she couldn't see a think that was happening, Sadly. She tumbled over and landed on the ground with a thud, How on earth would he ever be able to fight If she couldn't move fast enough. After Lir's comment about speaking she kept her mouth shut, Scurring up onto her feet and looking around for the other female. The sun finally out of her eyes she scowled at the other before she rushed at her keeping her body low to the ground so that maybe if she was lucky she could knock the other female to the ground. She'd seen her old owner and his friends do the same move a million and one times it always worked for them maybe it would for her also. She ground her teeth together as she kept an ear out waiting to be able to hear the other moving, Waiting to see if anyone else would be jumping in also. The female was concentraiting as hard as she possibly could, She wanted to prove herself.
