With the incredible success of our thread Gluttony 101: 300+ Simple Recipes for College Students, some of us have wondered to make an upper division course called Gluttony 102. This thread would be no different from Gluttony 101, just to house new recipes in the Food and Drink Forum since 101 is so massive. People keep submitting recipes in the thread even though I've made many, many posts that the thread was no longer accepting, and redirecting them to the guild.
However, if you guys are content with posting recipes in here, that is fine, too, though our audience may be a bit limited? Let me know what you guys think!

Honestly, the less complicated the better. I noticed that activity in the guild isn't as active as (it was?) in the main forum, whether it's because people haven't joined the guild, or they always forget they're in it (like me sweatdrop )
Adding a second thread isn't likely going to increase activity. I'd suggest going back to updating the original thread, even though it's huge, and keeping it open with the option for users to join the guild for bonus recipes or extra discussion.

I agree with the previous post. It's best to keep things simple since this guild isn't very active.

Alright, I added a new poll option opting for keeping 101 open. Thanks for your input, guys! I'd really like for Gluttony to keep thriving.

Baran has suggested that we make a Gluttony 102 as an "Upper Division Course" housing the recipes with the higher difficulty ratings, mainly to prune the list a bit in 101.
What do you guys think?

Well, now that I'm paying attention, I think the others bring up a valid point. Maybe we should link all the recipes in gluttony in the guild, then create a smaller recipe list in the thread itself with a link to the longer list in the guild.
I do think more people would remember to check the thread than the guild. Some of us (ME) are really bad with guilds.

I'm also pretty bad with guilds. :[ This is the most active I've been with Gluttony in MONTHS.
So, should we just make links in the thread to the guild? The guild is public, so it's not like anyone will not be able to see the recipe list.
We already have an amazing volunteer to reorganize the categories.

No, make links to the thread in the guild. That way people can keep posting recipes in the thread, as they often do, but we'll keep the massive list in the guild instead of in the thread. The list in the thread can be thinned out.

I seem to fail at basic communication. I shall try to elaborate.
The first step is to, if we have no already done so, copy all the recipe links in the thread to the guild. Not the recipe, just the links. This means that if you click the link, a recipe in the thread will pop up. That could provide a few minor problems, but I think it solves some bigger ones.
The next step is to take the list of recipe links in the thread and delete a bunch of them so that we have a small list of recipes, possibly our best and brightest.
That way we have a list of recipes in the thread that isn't so massive. And if anyone wants to see all the recipes, all they have to do is go to the guild where we will have them organized according to our whims.
Then if new recipes come up, we just add them to the recipe list in the guild. And, if they're particularly good, we can put them in the smaller list in the thread.
Does that make it more clear? I'm bad at this game. ._.

If we were to do Gluttony 102, how would we go about it in this format? Would the hard and easy recipes still be mixed up in the guild, but separated in the two threads?
