 Adi'sa had greatly enjoyed the celebrations of the Ela lands. He'd watched in delight as so many new faces had entered and let the spirits guide them to their new families, their clans, their futures. And he himself had participated in a most sacred blessing of his union with Tailsin. Things felt balanced in the lands.
He walked along, letting the odd bit of foliage brush over his pelt or his mane. He'd stop every once in a while and tilt his head one way or another, as if listening for something. And then he'd chuckle or make some remark or nod in agreement,
The spirits were pleased as well, and it filled him with a great sense of achievement.
Reaching a little clearing amongst all the shrubbery, Adi'sa walked out in to the middle of the sunshine and just kerflopped on to the ground with a great big happy sigh...and a thud of course.

A pale cream lioness padded out of the trees and stopped, blinking in the sunshine. She looked... lost, forlourn... out of place. Or, at least, Hanaa felt that way. Joining up with this pride had seemed like such a good idea, but now, as with everything she did it seemed, she was having second thoughts.
What if no one liked her? What if she ended up being nothing but a burden? What if they thought her strange and made her life miserable? Half of her wanted to believe that she was better off with Pacha, but a part of her knew that her clinging dependence on her sweet older sister wasn't a good thing. It limited poor Pacha, and it kept her from being her own person... So here she was.
Well, best to make the best of it.
Her face turned toward the shaman in the clearing where he'd stopped, her ears and head lowering shyly. Hanaa had followed him, hoping for a moment to talk to him alone.
"Um... excuse me? Nvwati? I... I was told you could help me." She called out to him.

Adi'sa started a little, lifting his great shaggy head up suddenly and peered at the creamy lioness before him. She looked somewhat shy and pained, as if nervous and uncomfortable in these surroundings. Adi'sa furrowed his brow slightly and got up as quickly as he could. Someone who needed help deserved his full attention.
"Greetings," he said, bowing his head. "I hope I can be of help. What troubles you, miss?"

He startled her when he suddenly rose and padded over, very nearly jumping to attention. It made her feel guilty for taking up his time, and even more why than before.
"I... I just... um..." She stammered, staring at her paws. "I'm new..." Hanaa finally confessed with a sigh. "I've just been welcomed into the pride, as one of the Earth Clan, and now... suddenly I don't know what all to do with myself." The cream lioness felt foolish for even admitting such a thing, which had been a huge reason for finding the lion alone, so fewer others would witness her embarrassment.
"I want to... learn about this new pride, about the customs, the beliefs, and just... everything!" She said earnestly, finally raising her head to meet his eyes. "I want to... make my place here and be... useful."
Hopefully, he wouldn't laugh in her face. Short of that, Hanaa felt she could handle just about anything... she hoped.
