I bought it the other day but Im not finished reading it yet, I'll be sure to post my opinion after Im done reading.

I don't know how to talk about the new book without ruining it, but they are all new characters and its in the modern world, its still really good though, I have about 200 pages left to read still.

I'm trying to save money right now, so I haven't been able to pick it up, but maybe I'll ask for it for christmas. Still, I prefer Goodkind as a fantasy writer, cause I'd much rather read fintasy/sci-fi books like SOT, LotR, and Harry Potter.

I loved it ^_^
No it wasn't wizards first rule, but it was pretty cool anyways and I'll be looking forward to the next one (if he makes a next one, lol)

Honestly, it was a bit of a cliffhanger. With the fact that Alex actually signed that one painting as Lord Rahl, that's just setting up for him to do one of two things.
A.) Going to the 'other world'
B.) Re-uniting the two worlds, just with the barriers like there was when Zedd set it up in the original series.
Either way, Alex -needs- to be able to reach the kingdom that Richard had set up. If the House of Rahl is gone, the balance of their world is upset.

Yea he definitely should be able to go back to the "other world" but if he doesn't have any magic he would be a pretty useless Lord Rahl, I thought Jax said people from his world couldn't go across to the other world though..
I don't think reuniting the two worlds would be a good idea though.

Jax most likely doesn't know anything about pilliars of creations. since alex is a rahl that means he one so he should be able to use the gateway just like jennsen (sorry if i misspell anyone's name) and another thing you have to wonder about jax existence and if the house of rahl is really gone or just for some unknown reason hiding.

I'm really surprised alot of people didn't know this book was coming out.
SPOILERS
Other people besides Jennesen went through the gateway in confessor, people who weren't pristinely ungifted so anyone should really be able to use the gateway.

The book has finally come out here... I'm not sure when it came out though, cos it wasn't with the new books. I just happened to see it on the shelf. Except I don't get to read it till Christmas cos my parents are getting it for me.
