So, the first Sonic in New England just opened up not 15 minutes from my house. We've been getting Sonic commercials for close to 10 years now, with no Sonic less than a 4 hour drive. Needless to say, it's become this huge inside joke with everyone here. And that was some great marketing strategy, if it weren't for the commercials, there probably wouldn't be 4 hour lines to get some food (what is it with these 4 hours?).
The lines have died down a bit in the past two weeks. When my boyfriend and I went, the wait was 2 1/2 hours. The experience was fun and the food was amazing. I didn't get to try a limeaid though and I really want one. After begging everyone I know with a car (my boyfriend and my mom...) to take me there ever since the first time we went (if I could walk there I would, but sadly it's on a highway and a 15 minute drive is a lot longer of a walk) I am finally going again tomorrow! Woooohoooo! I can't wait to try more things from the menu, I'm so excited. I feel like I was rushed and overwhelmed with the choices the first time around and I couldn't make a proper informed decision.
Do you guys have Sonic?

I have three in Lincoln, but their map is inaccurate because there's one not marked in Norfolk. Four hour lines?! Buy for the week! Limeades are pretty awesome, too. Good to see some franchises will do well this year.
Where do you live? Bring your Boyfriend to Nebraska and live here or in Omaha, you'll truly be in good company with no lines.

Or you and Lucie move here and you won't have to join that army! We live nea' Boston, wea' no one pronouncis thea' aaahs. This morning the line was only 20 mins. I got the strawberry limeade. OMG! So good. I ordered another one to go before we left. Sonic is so much better than McDonalds, Wendy's or Burger King.
