Burryna walked around, well, where ever she was. That which she wasn't quite certain where exactly that was. Earlier she had left some small village and had left the path to do some exploring, having not proved to be eventful she made her way back to the path. Well if she knew where the path was. She had spent a little time on this before shrugging and wandering off in some direction.
Her stomach rumbled and she looked to the sky. It was about lunch time, already? The wolftaur unshethed the knife from her front paw. She kept walking but kept an eye out for something to possibly eat. Her steps were quiet as not to scare anything away.

Reever lopped across the forest floor at an easy pace with a pack of goodies over his shoulder. He bi-passed a fallen log and hopped up onto the adjoining boulder before sailing over the river. His life had taken an unexpected turn after meeting his sister for the first time in ages. Of course she wasn't happy to see him and less happy when he started causing problems for her pack. That damn axe belonged to him, a son of the Alpha. Pft. So what if she was Beta now? It was different damn pack! That s**t didn't fly with him.
The wolftaur skidded on a patch of dirt and watched a shadow move. Or at least, he thought it was until he saw that head of white hair and the rack. Oh, goody. A female. And it looked like she was hunting. Perfect.
Lunch is served.

Burryna moved as silently as she could through the brush. It took a few minutes but she came across a rabbit that was eating some nearby shrub. She moved in closer, quietly, as to not spook it away. Her ears twitched at another noise some where to the side or behind her.
If she had to guess there was another animal or someone was watching her. Neither did she care since she was currently focused on getting the rabbit. When she was close enough, she flung the dagger at the rabbit, hoping it would hit it's mark.

Reever sat his sack down slowly in the brush as she lowered down to a crouch. Unfortunately for him, the rabbit was closer to him than originally planned and by the time he realized his mistake the female was already closing in. Damn it! If she hit him it'd be all over! But, then again, if she was a good markswoman and managed to snag the rabbit he could grab it before she.
It was a gamble he was ready to take.
He'd had plenty of daggers flying at him in his life not to jump when this one came. His heart lurched and his paws contracted, but he was otherwise calm with one hand barely hidden in the brush next to the rabbit, prepared to snatch it up.
The rabbit moved and his hand was impaled with the blade. Between the shock and pain, he howled out a mighty cry.

Burryna had thought she heard something else while she was hunting. Though she pushed it off as a small animal or just nothing. Again it probably was that rabbit she found just now. Usually her aim was good, she expected to hit her mark this time as well.
Though today she wasn't that lucky. The dagger went to the side more. She wasn't to lucky for it did hit something for she heard a loud howling cry and the rabbit ran away unharmed. What did she hit, it almost sounded like another taur.
"Hello? Oh my, did I hit someone." Ugh, she hoped that whatever or whoever she hit wasn't to hurt. Burryna walked towards the noise.

"Hell yes you did!" Reever growled. He straddled the blade with his fingers and popped it out, immediately clamping down on his hand to stem the bleeding.
Today wasn't his lucky day after all. He snatched the dagger up with his good hand and stood up, tossing it back to the female with a flick. "Watch where your aiming next time. Your lucky it's just my hand." Reever held the injured appendage up to his mouth, licking off the trail of blood. It would need a bandage which was something he didn't have. Frowning, he motioned to the female. "Give me something to wrap this up with."

Crap, she did hit someone. She was usually great with her aim, what the heck happened this time?
She looked at the other wolftaur. Her hand quickly caught the thrown dagger and she placed it back in it's pouch. "Perhaps your hand was just in my way, what were you doing so close to the rabbit?" She sighed and looked at the hand. Burryna hadn't much on her at all bandage wise. Luckily, the tails off of her top were quite long and wide so she ripped a piece off of that. "Here, let me."

"Same as you; hunting." It wasn't a total lie. He planned to 'hunt' after she'd alrady killed the damn thing. Reever just hadn't expected to be on the menu himself. Warily, he looked at her makeshift bandage and rolled his eyes, crossing the distance with his hand held out. "Maybe it was your subconcious telling you evil was afoot." The male grinned.
