There little moments in Katrisyn's life that pulled her away from the fast paced life of taking care of a child and making sure living quarters were in order. Despite what the multitudes of up and coming rebellious young women would say, the life of a housewife was never boring.
Every sort of occupation, whether at the house or otherwise, needed some sort of break. This sevenday's event would hopefully completely lack stress. Her husband, blessed be his soul, had agreed to take the toddler with him.
She hadn't taken the effort to dress in anything especially nice. Razaphon hardly needed a woman showing off. It would be nice to drop formalities, and although playing cards wasn't the most heart-racing of things Katrisyn had the option of engaging in, it was one that made her feel at least a little bit daring.
She wasn't ever going to steal, so pretending to bet money on cards was the next best thing to getting out a day of being 'bad'.
"What is on your lineup for today?" The question was addressed towards that white-haired old man with his belly and his hands crafted from art. She'd taken the time to put an extra deck of cards on the edge of the table and a small bowl of nuts dead center.
Almost dead center that was. Katrisyn pushed it a bit to the left with her index finger before taking a seat. There were all sorts of things she wanted to ask Razaphon, but she held her tongue.
