Morph walked along the riverbank, thinking about the past few weeks. He had reconnected with most of his family, but that didn't seem as important to him as is had yesterday. He was coming home and he could hardly wait to see Aranyani again. The excitement he felt was hardly effected by the mixture of herbs and catnip he wore in the pouch around his neck, which usually left him feeling fairly mellow. He stopped, fingering the tiger’s eye ring in his left hand. He thought about what he might say, how he would go about it, and realized that whatever he thought about know would completely go out the window once he saw her again. He laughed a little, inhaling the smells from his pouch to calm down just a little and slipped the ring back into the pouch where he had been keeping it.
He continued walking ‘til he came upon the stretch of riverbank that was near their tree home. Slipping off his guitar case, he padded forward quietly until he was at the opposite side of the clearing to where the large intertwined trees stood. Pulling out his guitar he slipped it on and padded quietly over to the entrance of the main tree. Leaning against the trunk, he started to play his guitar, quietly at first. He played the first song he ever played for her, back when they first met. As she progressed through the song, it got louder and louder and he smiled to himself, eyes closed, imagining holding Ara again.

Pale broken wings, you're just a little tired
Ara had been quite sad when Morph had been gone. Mir had come over a few times and stayed the night to keep her company, but she was mostly working on planning out the house and rooms, as well as the dance studio and the Music area that they wanted to make. Today Ara had taken the blankets down to the river early in the morning and washed them a little. She had brought them back and hung them from the trees to dry. She was in the middle of putting the bed back together, thinking about how she hoped that Morph would come home soon so she could share the bed with her love again. She sat down in the middle of the bed after making it pretty and was fixing her hair, making the curls nice and pinning them back to look pretty. As she put the last one in place and attached the flower clips to her hair. She sighed and looked around and imagined listening to Morph play his guitar...and she thought that she almost heard him playing. She opened her eyes and looked around. "Morph..." she said softly. She got up and looked over the side of the tree and gasped. "MORPH!" she jumped down, with a little flip, and landed at the base of the tree. She ran over and took his guitar from him and climbed into his lap happily. "Morphy your home! Oh baby i missed you so much!" she said as she wrapped her arms around him and kissed him all over, her tail swishing about happily as she clung to him.

Morph heard Ara before he saw her and in seconds she was on him, hugging and kissing him. Laughing for joy, he picked her up bridal style, one arm under her arms and one holding her legs, and carried her into the clearing, kissing her happily and spinning around before flopping back onto a patch of grass, laughing happily and purring, wrapping his arms and fluffy tail around her, planting kisses everywhere. “I missed you too. Every day. I’m never going anywhere without you, ever again. I missed you too damn much.” He kissed her and hugged her close, breathing in her scent. “I love you.” He murmured, finally coming to a moment of stillness, holding her against him and burying his face into her neck. “So very much.”

Ara wraps her arms around him as he carried her and purred happily still kissing him all over, any where she could reach. "Oh you better not! I don't want you to go away ever again! We have too much to do here at our home!" she said as she kissed him deeply and giggled. "I love you too Morph! Very Very much!" she said with a smile as she looked at him and smiled. "Did your trip go ok even though you missed me alot?" she asked with a smile as she played with his hair happily. She sniffed at the pouch on his chest and smiled, laughing a little knowing what it was. "Been having some fun in the catnip patches?"she asked as she looked at him and nuzzled his cheek.

“Noooo.” Morph said, blushing a little and laughing. “That’s not all catnip in there.” He nuzzled her back, purring nonstop. “I like the smell, it’s calming, and some of those other herbs are pretty useful.” He grinned. “Let it be known that I did pay attention to at least a few of Mir’s lessons.” Laughing again, he kissed her, still in the euphoria of being home again. “The trip went fairly well, all things considered. I’ll tell you about it later. I wanna know what’s being happening while I’ve been gone.” He nuzzled her again. “But that can wait too.” Morph hugged Ara close again, breathing in her familiar smell. Pulling back a little, he smiled softly at her. “Did I tell you that I missed you a lot? I think I mentioned that.” Drinking her in again, Morph looked down at her stomach, noticing the lotus tattoo on her lower belly. “That’s new.” He said, staring at it and blushing a little more and trying not to think about how far it went down her stomach.

Ara laughed and stood as he looked at her tattoo. She smiled as she turned to the sides and showed him her side tattoos. "So are these. I know they blend in with my stripes but their new." she said with a smile as she kissed his nose. "And the flower goes a little lower too." she said with a laugh as she smirked. "The leaves of it kind of flair off down my hips." she said with a smile as she wrapped her arms around his waist and snuggled him. "But don't worry i found a female to do the tattoo, so there wasn't a male any where near me." she said looking up at him and kissing his lips softly. "And i think you did mention it a time or two since you have been back. While you were gone i did some planning and Mir came over a few times and we had some sleep overs." she said with a laugh as she kissed his neck softly. She tried not to think about taking him to the bed up in the tree and snuggling with him in bed. She loved to snuggle with him under the blankets.

Morph sat up and smiled as Ara showed off her new tattoos, his eyes travelling lower in spite of himself as she described the parts of the tattoo that were out of view. Standing up, if only to look her in the eyes again, Morph put is arms around her, kissing her back. He smiled, glad that she had picked a female tattooist. “I left my bag over by the trees there; we’ll go get it, and then I can come home properly.” He kisses her, rubbing his forehead against hers. The pouch bounced a little against his chest and he thought about its precious cargo. Taking Ara by the hand, he walked over to the tree where he had left his guitar case, slinging it over his free shoulder. Stopping only to nuzzle Ara again, he moved back to the main tree of their home, grabbing his guitar by the neck. “Any new additions while I was gone?”

Ara walked with him happily as they walked back to the tree. "Nothing big really. Mir kinda helped me find someone to put the base for some of the stuff in to the other tree as well as the beginning of the walk way in to connect all the trees together." she said pointing up to the trees above their heads. she smiled as she looked over at him and then walked inside the tree to climb up so that she could catch his stuff. When she got to the top she looked over and smiled. "Toss up your bag and i'll catch it love." she said with a smile as she winked at him, though she made sure that her shirt stayed in place. She didn't want to tease him too much, and she didn't want to fall out of her new shirt that didn't cover as much as her old one used to.

Morph smiled and winked back, placing his guitar into the case and hefting it up at Ara. He couldn’t stop looking at her, for the dual reasons that he was seeing her again for the first time in a few weeks, the other reason being that the combination of her new outfit and tattoos were quite distracting indeed. After making sure that Ara had caught his bag safely, he climbed up the tree, taking the case from her and dipping her, giving her a kiss and rubbing his nose against hers before coming back up again. “It’s good to be home.” He said, wrapping his arms around her waist and hugging her close, purring and kissing her neck.

Ara laughed and hugged him as she stood back up. "Its good to know that you are happy to be home. I know i'm glad your home. the bed has been so sad and empty with out you in it. Even when Mir was coming over i was sad you were not here with me." she said as she pulled him to the bed and sat in it. She pulled him down next to her and snuggled his side. "I jsut cleaned the blankets early this morning so their nice and clean of dirt and wood." she said as she held his hand and smiled happily, closing her eyes and enjoying snuggling with him again.

Morph smiled, following Ara to the bedroom and scooping up his guitar case on the way, setting it down inside the entrance to the bedroom. He smiled softly as Ara pulled him down on the bed, shrugging off his vest and taking off the pouch around his neck, hanging it up close to the bed. He snuggled down next to her, their bodies fitting snuggly beside each other. Morph sighed contentedly, nuzzling the side of Ara’s neck. He smiled and watched Ara for a while, til her breathing had become a little slower and more even. Then he reached behind him, pulling out the Tiger’s eye ring. Snuggling back against Ara, he draped his arm over hers, his hand on top of hers. Slowly, he slipped the ring onto her left ring finger and whispered in her ear. “I know I said that I wanted to be romantic, and sweep you off your feet, but I can think of no greater thing than to be with you like this. I want to be at your side for the rest of my life. Being away from you made me realize that, and I want nothing else than to be with you.” He kissed her neck, watching her with a soft smile on his face.

Ara was enjoying her snuggles with him when she felt him move over to get something and then came back. She opened her eyes as she felt him sliding something on to her ring finger. She looked down to see the tigers eye ring on her finger and smiled as her heart raced. She rolled over and laied on him as she snuggled him. "Oh Morph! Its beautiful! All i was thinking about when you were gone was how badly i wanted to spend forever with you too! I don't want to be away from you ever again!" she said as she slid her arms around his neck and kissed him deeply loving the feel of having him back in her arms.

Morph smiled. his heart beating faster as Ara rolled on top of him and kissed him. He wrapped his arms around her, never wanting this moment to stop, never wanting to let go of her. This is how he wanted to come home; no words were really needed, just the simple act of being with her was enough. She was his fire, his dancer, and would always be with her, bringing music to her life as she brought passion into his. He purred happily holding her close; even after the kiss had stopped. When they pulled apart, he grinned at her, his face flushed. “Sooo… marry me?” He asked, giggling happily and nuzzling her.

Ara nuzzled him and nodded. "Yes darling. I want you at my side here forever and ever." she said as she snuggled him, her arms around his neck as she cuddled him and kissed his neck. "The tree feels complete now that your back. It was so sad and lonely when you were gone." she said with a smile as she looked at him and smiled. "When do you want to have the wedding? And who can we have do it?" she asked with a smile.

Morph thought for a bit, his tail entwining around Ara’s and his arms around her waist. “Well… Mom and Dad, Hermes, Nyx and Ishtar, and Kaikara. Oh, I forgot to tell you, I found my other sister! We meet when i was looking for Hermes, I'll have to tell you about her." Morph grinned a bit, momentarily distracted. "Anyways, umm... Dracal, though he and Ishtar definitely can’t sit near each other, that would not go well... and Mir, and maybe Val if she would want to come.” Morph chuckled wry, shaking his head a bit. “Umm… That’s the family, and… any close friends, and friends of the family, and, uh… anybody else who wants to come?” Morph shrugged a little, kissing Ara absentmindedly. “We could do it here if you like… one of the rooms is bound to be big enough… maybe the dance hall… I have no idea who we could ask to do it… I’m sure Mom would be ecstatic, though…” He smiled at the thought, purring quietly. “Any ideas, love?” He asked, looking at her.
