Welcome to my quest thread! :3 Expect this to probably undergo a lot of additions and shifts and stuff, so don't be surprised if I ask for critique fairly often. 8D

::That Guy::Name: Dominic Bell Nicknames: Nick, or Dama, and he doesn't really care about either being used, though "Nicky" earns a stare of 'wtf r u doing' level. Origin: American, but of Greco-Roman descent Age: 18 Birthday: March 15th Sign: Pisces Blood Type: AB- Fav. Food: Eggs, any way you can realistically imagine Hated Food: Pork, also any way you can realistically imagine, except bacon School: DCU Hobbies: reading, music, and movement. Any movement, though dance/rhythmic gymnastics in particular, and he's very good at it. Got a karate class? He'd be interested. Yoga? Check. He never holds still. Gemstone: Chrysolite [link]Virtues: Honest: He's one that you can trust never to lie to you unless you'd be seriously, physically harmed by the truth, or telling the truth would seriously harm someone/thing else that he feels is more important than your curiosity or need to know. If you want to know what the kids at school are saying or what he thinks of you or your actions, he'll tell you, with an honesty that can sometimes be a bit unintentionally brutal. However, if telling you will lead you to getting yourself hurt or killed, he'll lie, usually without guilt or a second thought. Confident: He's got all the self-esteem issues most teenage boys have, but he does his best to ignore them, and he's not at all afraid of talking to strangers or sticking up for what he believes in or wants. He is quite cheerfully the proverbial 'squeaky wheel'. Optimistic: Did I mention 'cheery'? While he's not -quite- the level of that overly cheerful kid in class you always wanted to beat with your binder, he's shamelessly optimistic and loves to see things how he believes they will and should be. He WILL find the silver lining in anything, even the deepest, darkest hellcloud. Flaws: Scatterbrained: He concentrates best if he's moving while you talk to him and by all means let him do what he needs to in order to remember what you've said. His attention span is about thisbig, and he even reads while walking, running, or moving about. The only way he survives in class is to constantly be moving SOMETHING, whether it's tapping his foot, drumming his fingers on his arm, or just general fidgeting. He's forgetful when it comes to day-to-day information or putting names to faces. That's not to say he's stupid. He's actually very bright, but concentration takes work. A lot of - ooh, butterfly. Claustrophobic: All of that moving he does has a down side- he's very claustrophobic. Not being able to move terrifies him and can be set off by something as simple as pinning his body immobile, even if it's out in the open. Luckily for him just pinning his limbs doesn't work all the way, though, unluckily for him, it does start the downward spiral. Fickle: He has his goals and, for all his absent-mindedness, they are incredibly fixed. If your goal is at odd with his, he'll distance himself from what it is you're doing and likely won't be of any help at all. However, if at some point he feels that your goal is aligned well enough with his again, he'll come back like nothing happened. This can make him hard to depend on, unless you're someone very special to him. He's also fickle of temper and tends towards irritability and jitters on his bad days, unless something really sets him off and, like a flame to gunpowder, his temper lights up. Physical Description:Hair: Long, to his thighs, and mahogany brown, with strong hints of copper. It's slightly wavy and he usually keeps it either bound, clipped, or braided back. Eyes: very dark blue, with just a tint of green, slightly narrowed and almond shaped Face: high-cheekboned, with a slender structure. He is assuredly male when looking at the face, but he will never be 'rugged'. Body: lithe and toned. He's not muscular, but, again, his body would be very hard to mistake for being female. His skin is dark, olive in tone, and he's tall, at about 6'0.5" (and he's very proud of that half-inch). Fashion: Wears clothing that's easy to move in and comfortable. It can contribute to a bit of a sloppy appearance if he's not careful. His ears are pierced multiple times in each ear and the earrings vary daily. In day-to-day fashion, jeans or slacks with a t-shirt or tank top is what he wears, usually wearing tennis shoes with no socks (and apparently having developed an immunity to blisters to go with his hatred of socks) or going barefoot.

::Those People::
Parent(s): His father, Luke Michael Bell, who's an accountant, and his mother, Safira Anoraa Bell, who's a dance instructor.
While all of his family have middle names, Dominic does not, and his parents blame lack of creativity. Or the anesthetic drugs. Or both.
Siblings: Four brothers, all older than he is: Garber Abel Bell (25) is the eldest, with a wife and two children of his own, twins Mikki and Aaron (3). Alan Sebastian Bell (24) and Tammer Conway Bell (24) are identical twins, with Alan married and Tammer engaged, neither with children. Constantine Murray Bell (21) is away at university for Language Studies and lives with his partner.
Due to all of his brothers being settled with someone, Dominic is constantly asked when he's going to find someone nice to settle down with. Note: This is irritating.
Home: With the large, two-story house that previously held five growing boys now only holding Dominic and his parents, there's a lot of space where he lives. He mainly keeps to himself and lives within easy walking distance of the school. The home is kept clean through a joint effort between all three current residents and his father is startlingly efficient at keeping down unneeded clutter.

::He Likes to Move It, Move It::Senshi: Sailor Tyl hereChallenge: "I'll make you breathe your last breath!" Sphere of Power: Sulphur Fuku: (TBA) Transformations/Attacks: "Arrakis Power, Make Up!"Glitterdust- He summons powdered sulfur and expels it towards the opponent in a dust cloud, multiplying the particles as he does so. (Lasts 1 min, must wait 3 min before next use)(pros): - contact with skin results in irritation - contact with mucous membranes and eyes results in inflammation and temporary blinding, respectively - inhalation causes temporary shortness of breath - highly flammable and is good support with a fire/flame/heat/lightning/etc. based senshi (cons): - does not affect the breathing of enemies who do not need to breathe, or who do not have lungs, or who breathe through a filtering agent of some sort of sufficient density - does not affect the sight or eyes of enemies who do not have eyes or have eyes that are shielded sufficiently - does not irritate the skin of enemies who are shielded or who are armored/do not have skin - if acted quickly enough upon, can be washed away with water, as solid/powdered sulfur is non-soluble in water, or blown away with wind until it dissipates "Arrakis Star Power, Make Up!"Dragon's Breath- He summons vaporous sulfur in a gaseous cloud with the characteristic choking rotten-egg odor. (Lasts 3 min, must wait 10 min before next use)(pros): - if inhaled too much, can severely restrict breathing or stop it altogether - the sulfur will also react with moisture to form a weak to moderate sulfurous acid (not sulfuric) - odor distracts and severely handicaps enemies - vapor is flammable and acts as a support for any fire/flame/heat/lightning/etc. senshi - vapor can combine with water in higher concentrations to form 'acid rain' and acts as a support for any water/ice/vapor/etc. senshi - as a vapor, it can be controlled by wind for its duration and acts as support for any wind/storm/tornado/etc. senshi (cons): - sulfur properties do not affect the breathing of opponents who do not breathe/breathe with lungs, or who breathe through a filtering device of sufficient density - chemical reaction severely handicapped in desert environments, where there is little atmospheric moisture - odor does not affect opponents who cannot smell or do not smell (i.e, a cold would be a wonderful thing to have to avoid the odor)* - mixing with other elements is tricky and takes a lot of trial and error, as too much water/wind dilutes/dissipates the sulfurous gas too much and the vapor burns incredibly quickly, thus setting fire to it too soon will result in it having little to no of the desired effect *in human/humanesque opponents, holding the nose doesn't work, as the mouth and nasal passages are connected

First off, I didn't quite understand how draco could connect to sulpher until I saw you attacks and: WOW I'm impressed by the level of thought put into them. You make it so he could tie in well with other senshi and yet, also do well on his own.
On his virtues: Nothing wrong or off that I can see Flaws: Scatterbrained IMO doesn't usually connect with fidgeting. Being a fidgeter could be a flaw on it's own. And from the sound of his need for movement, it looks like it could be. While I can see how the two go hand in hand from you explanation, see if you can separate the two. And, think about how this might effect him as a senshi. Could he stay still long enough to hide and do a surprise attack? To stay still so as to avoid an attack? Ect ect.
On his battle cry (minor thing thats not very important at all) I would giggle if his battle cry was: "I'll make you breathe your very last breath!" But only because I play Devil May Cry WAAAAAY to often and that's a lyric from a song. >w>'

Optomistic and Fickle seem good. Not so sure about Confident. The way you described it semed like it really wasn't a STRONG virtue. I'd say try 'courage' since he 'isn't afraid of sticking up for what he believes in'. I could see 'honest' going either way, serving as both virtue and a potential flaw since...not a lot of people LIKE hearing the truth. It could kinda lose him some friends, sooo,..maybe more of a trait than a virtue?

But only because I play Devil May Cry WAAAAAY to often and that's a lyric from a song. >w>' Haha @ DMC X3 Yeah, like I've been saying, I didn't want him horribly OP, and there didn't seem to really be a whole lot of people at all who were like 'ohey, if this and this combine, it would get this and omgawesome' with the senshi. Although, originally, I chose sulphur because it's more 'ancient' name is brimstone X3 On his flaws, I see your point but I'm going to keep them how they are. How I imagine him and how I'll play him is that he's scatterbrained partly BECAUSE of his need for movement. Like, his mind needs to constantly be moving too. The actual term is ADHD, but I don't want to put that because I don't want people going OMG ADHD ISN'T A FLAW!!!1one!! No, it's not, but... yeah. His need for moving and such and this relating to his senshi work is something I actually intend :3 I know it will cause issues. I don't want it to be easy to play him or easy for him to be a senshi. A challenge is more fun and interesting, imho. So, I know it'll cause issues X3 That's the point~ <3

To me, personally, courage is standing up DESPITE fear. He has no fear. He's confident in himself to where he doesn't care about being made fun of for sticking up for what he wants. It's of no concern to him at all. What he does doesn't take courage, per se. He just does it. I'm going to leave honest, too, because I know I'd rather have someone tell me the truth on something and have someone I KNOW I can count on to tell me the truth, even if it hurts, than lie to me to protect my 'feelings'. I.E If one friend told me that a dress looked good on me, even if it didn't, and let me go out in it where I could get ridiculed by other people, because they didn't want to hurt my feelings, whereas another friend said 'uh, nu. Try that one over there. This one looks really bad. There you go.', I'd count the second person a better friend.

Actually ADHD could technically be a flaw if it's a hindrance, and in this case it does sound like it is. Which is why there are medications to fix such things... and even then sometimes it just makes it worse. [<- I have seen a case of this. And I admit having wanted to strangle and or harm that case in a scenario or two.]
On his attacks I am wondering however, do they effect the senshi? Especially the 'better' power where as it's the smell of Sulfur. I know this is like rotten eggs [if I'm not mistaken], but I'm curious on how are the senshi themselves going to be able to stand it?
Also I'd kind of like to know what the rest of the family does. Granted we likely won't ever see them but I want to know if any of his other siblings took up anything like dancing or accounting like their parents are. [I'm a freak for family details. ^^;]
His flaws and virtues seems pretty good but for some reason I feel like there's something missing among them.... possibly something in the flaw section, either that or for some reason Fickle is throwing me off.
Maybe you could split up the goal thing and the temper thing? Like Temper under fickle but the uninterested in others goals if they don't work together maybe find something that will explain he's goal oriented but, he's a bit.... 'selfish' with his goals.... as they normally have to match up?
... I feel like I'm explaining that bad but I'm sitting here scratching my head trying to figure out what word I'm trying to fish for or if selfish is actually what I'm looking to use here... sweatdrop
