Hey, xmkatx, I made some Dir en grey banners. And after I saved and uploaded them I realized that I did not fully label them. stressed Oh well. I'm too lazy to go back and fix them.

I had that stupid Franz Ferdinand siongle stuck in my head earlier today but it has been succesfully purged.
Now it's a combination of Rurouni Kenshin music (thanks xmkatx) and Acidman's cover of Colors of the Wind. (Yes, the Pocahontas song.)

I like this banner. My brother is playing Soul Calibur 2 and all I hear are Mitsurugi's battle cries and Raphael's screams of pain.

I saw you were talking about Diddy Kong Racing. I still have that game and I still haven't beaten it. I suck at racing games. I just play multi with my sisters.

xmkatx Which Rurouni Kenshin song? I made a playlist with these: In Memories ~ A Boy Meets A Man Shades of Revolution Fallen Angel (or Haiiro no Tenshi, I forgot which is the real name) Warrior's Suite My favorite one is the Fallen Angel one which gets played a lot during the Kyoto/Shishio arc. I also suck at racing games. I hate Gran Turismo because it's nigh-impossible to have fun with it for more than 1 week if you're a casual racing gamer. I made the mistake of buying Gran Turismo 3.

I'd probably recognize those songs if I heard them. I only really know the names of the theme songs. My favorites are fairly typical, Heart of Sword, 1/3 Junjou no Kanjou (Siam Shade), and Kimi ni fureru dakede (Tokio?).
The biggest appeal of Gran Turismo is that the cars are realistic. I read in EGM the work they put into making the latest GT games, including recording the sounds of the actual cars at racing tracks. I bought Gran Turismo and the racing wheel. I'm still trying to get rid of that damn Mad Catz racing wheel on eBay. No one wants it. stressed

Most of those songs are from the OAVs.
Gran Turismo is accurate, but I guess that only appeals to the hardcore racing nuts. I could care less about fine tuning the gear shifts and how the engine sounds. I play racing games for fun and adrenaline rush, not to spin out of control when I don't measure a turn perfectly with my heavy Dodge Viper.
I never buy 3rd party peripherals. sweatdrop

I'm not hardcore racer, either, but my dad liked GT a bit. He's not a gamer, though. I'd rather just play racing games at arcades.
I don't usually buy 3rd party peripherals, either. Nor do I usually buy no name brand electronics.
Then I got a Daewoo DVD player. stressed

I like playing racing games at the arcades too, unless they're those ghetto ones with no seat and just the steering wheels and the pedals where you play standing up and look very awkward and uncomfortable. My DVD player isn't even working and I'm not going to tell my dad because he'll say I broke it. I'll just wait until he watches a DVD (never) on his own and it doesn't work for him. That way, it'll be hard for him to pass the blame to me. I want one of those all-region DVD players. I'm looking at this one because Phillips sounds more reliable than Yamakawa, which I've never heard of. It sucks that it's way more expensive though. I don't like Coby electronics.
