Whilst driving with my sister, I noticed something. Pedestrians. They walk out into the street like idiots. Why? Because no driver wants to go through the pain in the a** that is a vehicular manslaughter trial. They take full advantage of the fact that no car with a passable driver will hit them. And so, they jam things up by walking when the signal says not to, and jamming up the entire intersection. Nothing says they can't. But there is a law forbidding people from teaching them a valuable lesson. Same thing in parking lots. People just walk out, taking their time in the middle of the parking lot. Doesn't matter if a car approaches. They can't legally do anything. So they just take their good sweet time, and jam it all up to hell. Then, a case I found odd. Open parking space! Yay, one in a million, we had to search the entire damn lot. But, what's this? Retard in the next space over was tying his shoes. Of course, he couldn't do this fully inside the car. Or fully outside of it. No, he has to put his foot out the door, and remain seated, making the space next to him unusable while he was there. We couldn't stop, either, because there were cars behind us. We couldn't just go in and take off his door, because it was possible not to. No, we had to give up the spot, because one guy is retarded, and the system allows him to be.
But...... It's not only limited to pedestrians. Every day idiots get by because of another law against assault. Someone's being retarded, and just asking to get hit. Yet you're not allowed to hit the dumbass, and spread the lesson that you don't do that stupid s**t. You do, and he can sue you. Then there's health care and easy transportation. Injury? Hah! It does nothing to me. I can just get fixed up. There's no harm in doing this incredibly stupid stunt! I don't need to watch what I eat. If I get hurt, doctors fix me up. If I get incredibly fat, my car keeps away the need to be physically fit.
Law and order take away negative consequence. Negative consequences causes people to learn. So law and order basically breed retards, who have no fear of consequences. This...... Is a rather annoying fact.

Darwin is crying. This is one very probable cause of why there are so many un-inteligent people in the world anymore, because you can't do anything to them or teach them. So many useless OBVIOUS warning labels, so many missed trial and errors to gain knowledge. I wonder how this warning label got established... oh that's right, some guy probably put his dog in the microwave and then sued the microwave company due to his ignorance that this would obviously kill his dog.

I disagree. I think that police need to up the ante and start ticketing pedestrians for jay walking and if on a bike, for not following traffic laws. Also, the driver of the car can get out of a manslaughter charge depending on the situation. For example, if a person runs out in middle of the freeway the driver can't get charged for their murder because pedestrians aren't suppose to be there and a car going 60+ can't stop on a dime because of some dumbass. I was watching judge judy one time and this kid was suing a woman for hitting him in a parking lot. Well judge judy ruled in favor of the driver because the kid was skateboarding in the parking lot and ran into the side of her car expecting her not to stop for him. So, yes, pedestrian dumbasses do get what's coming, it just takes some time.
Don't get me wrong I've dealt with my fair share of dumbasses but I would be in the clear. My favorite was some idiot on the side walk riding a bike, he stopped at the red light next to me. I was going to turn right and not sure what he was going to do gave him the signal to go. He then gives me the signal to go and gets off his bike. Just as I'm about to take my turn the d**k hops on his bike and speeds in front of me. Thank god I have excellent brakes. I just wish a cop had been there crying

Huh, and here I am ranting about the lack of common decency shown by drivers. Yes, keep driving and don't let me cross the road, I don't mind getting soaked by rain in the middle of winter.
Bastards.
Anyway, it's a proven fact that the law exists solely to protect criminals and baby morons.

I had a few experiences as well:
One time at Wal-Mart, my family was in the car ready to drive home, when this huge-a** van was blocking our way from backing up. Our family had to wait 10 MINUTES to see what was going on. We saw 3 women just standing outside the door. So our mom decided to take action, she got out of the car and politely told the driver to move.
But the reason she told why the driver of the van didn't move: HE WAS TALKING TO HIS FRIENDS THE ENTIRE TIME (the 3 girls)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No etiquette much?
But as for pedestrians, I don't get why there aren't any active Stop signs that work like Rail Road Crossing bars. People can just walk by w/ a yellow light...

Of course, if you run into a car while skateboarding, you're the one who's getting the short end of that one. Val: But you can cross when it's your appointed time to cross.

There will always be people who don't get caught, just like with drivers. You can never have a 100% enforcement but the bottom line is stupid people are still punished. From the pedestrian side drivers are pricks too at times. Last time when I was in Portland (huge pedestrian area) some guy driving flipped my friend and I off and screamed at us out of his window for crossing the street when it was our turn to cross. The red hand hadn't even popped up and started blinking yet.

Val: I'd say yes, if you were equal to or greater then them in number. But in the general intersection, there are..... I'd say at least five cars to every pedestrian. If they allowed you to pass, it would be wasting time for five people. More time then it would waste of yours, as cars go past faster.

Val: Stoplights aren't even really present unless the road is used that often. confused If there's no stoplight, you can usually cross at pretty much any time, so long as a car isn't speeding past. I get by those extremely quickly. But when I get to an intersection with a stoplight, the cars outnumber me 5:1 at a slow time.
Vaja: As it should be. 3nodding

They're far enough apart that one could stop long enough to let you dash out (this is away from stoplights btw, since they have crossings) but close enough you can't play chicken safely.

It's really fun driving AND walking around my college campus.
There are crosswalks basically every few feet, and when you're trying to leave (in a car) during a time when a lot of classes let out, good luck. There's a constant flow of people you have to wait for, and it takes forever to get a chance to move... and it happens at each of the billion crosswalks that it's necessary to drive past D=
It's no picnic walking either, though, because some people are scary and don't stop! If you're the first of a large group of people approaching the crosswalk, sometimes cars will speed up instead of slowing down so they can try to beat the crowd. Instead of being able to just keep walking the way you're supposed to, you have to stop and wait to make sure the cars are actually stopped before crossing, so it just ends up taking even longer.
