Eve was starting to realize how fickle humans were; when it had been the holidays, she had missed being in school among friends and classmates and having dance practice, and now that she was back at school, she was utterly exhausted by how busy her schedule now was, and longed for the carefree days where all she did was shop, do gardening, help mother bake, and actually had the time to lie on her bed and feel bored. Now, boredom simply wasn't a part of her life; it was filled with homework, classes, dance practice, which left her feeling so drained that she couldn't even drag herself out to do some shopping.
Luckily, now it was the weekend, and Eve managed to find some time to leave the confinements of her school and wandered about in the streets alone, which was actually a rather surprising thing if one really knew the girl. Eve usually hated to shop alone, but all she could bring herself to do was window shop.
School was really so tiring!

There was not a lot of things in Yuki's life that let her relax in quite the same way that collecting her butterflies did. School, homework, her family-life and duties as a senshi all melted away in face of the joy the little creatures gave her.
Or rather, the joy that killing them gave her. Sure, frolicking through meadows and catching the little buggers was all fine and dandy, but crushing the delicate insect's thorax and watching it give a few, feeble last twitches was where it was really at.
But honestly, freezing was probably the best way, and it was the one she'd been using lately and had intended to continue to use if it hadn't been for her dorm-mates protesting to finding dead bugs in their freezer.
Which was why she was currently out on the town, trying to find new jars and failing spectacularly. Possibly, Yuki thought while staring at another window in a shop looking to contain absolutely nothing useful to killing things, I should have asked someone for help. Or at the very least gotten some directions to a supermarket.

Window shopping was a perfect alternative to a full blown shopping spree for a busy schoolgirl such as herself, but there existed the problem of being tempted to enter a shop and browse. However, Eve knew herself too perfectly, and she was aware of the fact that when she entered a shop, it would take her ages to browse and finally decide on buying something, even if she already had a particular item in mind. The blonde could only sigh and trudge on, limiting herself to merely rushing up and putting her face as close to the glass as possible whenever something caught her eye.
She strolled by shop after shop, glancing at the displays put up, when something inadvertently caught her eye once again. Giving in to temptation, Eve skipped up to the shop window, peering at a very pretty and intricate crystal vase before noticing the girl besides her. She seemed rather familiar, though Eve couldn't quite put her finger on it. "Hey there!" She said brightly. "I think I've...seen you before? Perhaps around Crystal? I 'unno, there are so many girls in the school that I can't possibly meet them all."

Glass vases probably wouldn't do, though the look on her roommate's face would be well worth it. Could you even use vases instead of plain yars? Probably not worth the price of the intricate piece in the window in front of her to find out, though. Yuki frowned a bit, caught up in the thoughts currently split between revenge on her squeamish roommate and the ridiculous price of the merchandise that seemed to plague most of Destiny City's shops. Or, possibly, she was just a cheapskate. Meh.
"Perhaps?" She blinked, thrown from her thoughts by the lively blonde that seemed to have materialized besides her. "I do go to Crystal." She gave a small nod in belated greeting. "But I don't recall seeing you around. Then again, I must confess that I do little to socialize with my peers." A small smile, designed to take the bite out of that statement. It was.. curious, really - people rarely walked up to Yuki on the street on a whim. Not that she was any sort of outcast or anything, she just preferred her work instead of making friends, and it showed.
"I'm Yuki."

Eve grinned in delight at her lucky guess; though really, the girl seemed poised enough to be a part of Crystal Academy for Girls. So it wasn't so much as a lucky guess as a hunch? Still, it was nice to meet new schoolmates she had no inkling even existed. "Ah." She said simply. Eve Summers knew these type of people; the ones who didn't exactly like talking, perhaps because they didn't want to, or didn't know what to say. Nevertheless, she had been always determined to help them open up and talk...well at least in her presence.
"Yuki is a lovely name." She said warmly. "I'm Eve, Eve Summers!" She squinted at the other girl's face; it was a easier task now that the other had turned. "Perhaps it's because we're not in the same year."

"Thank you." The smile widened slightly; at least the other girl had some manners. "Perhaps - I have not spent much time with those outside my year or dorm, so that would most likely be the case."
Glancing back at the shop window momentarily, Yuki considered that perhaps her prayers had been answered. There had to be some karma reward for being a Sailor Senshi, right? Even one as inactive as she was..
"Are you out looking for anything in particular? Or simply, ah, window-shopping?"

"I'm a junior." She said. "And ahhh, you sound like my roommate." Really, Rea didn't seem to be the sociable type either, though Eve was determined to change that now they lived in the same form! "Socializing isn't that bad, honestly." She waggled her finger at Yuki in a mock scolding manner.
"Window-shopping today." Eve answered with a shrug. "I don't really have a particular thing in mind to buy. And besides, shopping sprees take hours. School's taking up time for that; so I settled for just walking about. It's good to get out sometimes, y'know?"

"Maybe not, but I rarely have the time these days. A pity I suppose, but you take what you get." A junior? That would likely explain the lack of prior contact.
"Indeed. Are you very busy lately? I must confess I know very little about the current curriculum for juniors." A slightly crooked smile later and Yuki continued; "And even less of shopping sprees."
