How exactly is a bugle played?

Now, I don't play a bugle and I never have, but would it be played like a trombone or horn, of which I've never played either?

Like, the lip buzzing has to be changed in pressure or speed or something?

Learning to buzz into a mouthpiece like that takes lots of practice. (is a trumpet player)

Try practicing with out the instrument first and just the mouthpiece. Make a kissy face and push air out while buzzing your lips.
It's hard for me to explain well since it's like second nature to me.

its a trumpet without valves. its the same as a trumpet, buzzing and all, you just have to do all the work with your lips, not valves to help.
