The search was on going with no leads and more dead ends then Justinus would have cared for. The leopard wasn't as focused on this search as his brother seemed to be. No, the leopard was not about to give up either. He just felt it was okay to now and then spend time lazing in a tree branch soaking up some sun rays and snacking on the local Gazelle.
He had caught it earlier and dragged it up a tree so not to tempt any lions or hyenas or other creatures looking for a free meal.
The leopard grinned to him self as he licked the inside of the creatures ribs. There was no way he was going to finish all of this him self, but the ribs were so good not to lick the meat off. His favorite part. So the gladiator stayed put in the tree and continued to lick those ribs. Not really eating the meat at this point.
A crow or two had gathered in the branches above, eying the kill with great interest. Justinus paid them no mind as he licked the meat.
