i know that it's actually the 12th today.
but i was just wondering if anyone wanted to share
their thoughts. if not, that's cool.
i wasn't sure if this should go in the politics/philosophies forum.

To me, this is the worst day in history since it began a war that could possibly not end for another 10 years. This could turn into Vietnam if it goes on much longer which would probably bring the re-birth of the Hippie movement.

hmm, that's an interesting thought.
it was very tragic, i was only nine when it happened.
so at first i didn't really understand what it meant.
i did go to the twin towers site like two and a half years ago.
it was insane, really really emotional too.
even then there was still a bunch of debris they were taking care of.
but for the most part it was just this massive hole in the ground.

Wow, I don't even think I was in first grade yet at the time. And if a Hippie movement does start again, I hope Paul McCartney takes over from where John Lennon stopped.

If you actually do research on 9/11, you'll find that there is strong evidence that it was a government plot. All that day did was cause bloodshed on our hands, we just wanted to start a couple of wars. There's alot of money made in war. That's my reasoning for hating government in general. Republicans and Democrats need to be taken down a few notches.

Liberals have taken over and our economy is going down the tubes. Prior to this were conservatives and they were absolutely horrible too. I hate government in general because of this, they're nothing but a bunch of greedy crooks.

i think it's tragic that so many lives were lost..
but it has generated so mush hate towards to middle east.
as an outsider i think america needs to focus less on revenge & more on how to help the families with lost loved ones.
so many innocent middle eastern people have been killed now as well & so there really is no saying who is right & wrong anymore.
both sides have been victimised.

9/11 changed the world as we knew it.
We could be on the brink of WWIII.
9/11 could've been a bunch of crazies who hid their hate behind religion, or a bunch of crazies hiding behind the curtain of government.
Either way...
Nothing's the same.

Besides being a terrible tragedy and the Day That Changed America, what really gets me is how it's used for political purposes. I.e. 'vote for me/do as I suggest, 'cos otherwise it helps the Terrorists! Terrorists!!! Oooh, scaaaaa-rrrry!!!!'
Sometimes I wonder about our country.

I heard that one day, the Government will have little cameras installed in your TVs man! So they can watch everything you do man!

Yeah, but were gonna have to get new ones soon too! Cause they old ones are gonna be taken by the Government and replaced with new ones with the cameras man!
