The family got to all go out side together for the day. And thank god too, Kumo wasn't sure if he was going to be able to stand staying in such glowy cavern for ever. Let alone so close to his family. He loved his siblings and his parents but he just needed to get away. Specially from his father and almost twin sister.
Something always felt off around his father. His near twin sister also got the same offness from Asa and it seemed a little worse when the two were together.
Right now wasn't a time to think about such thoughts though. No, the hyena, was off on his own adventure. He wanted to find a good smelling plant to take back to the caverns to remind him of the outside when they were at home. Something nice that wouldn't wilt fast. Yeah, that would do.
Kumo sniffed the ground carefully. Really the pup was not payin attention to where he was going.

Malaika let out a long sigh of relief as she wandered away from the giant that was her family. Normally she had her sister in tow, but now she needed a little time to herself. Enough was e-bloody-nough already. She could only watch her mother try and figure out what to do with them all for so long... now she needed a chance to get away. A little of her own time was a nice change, all things considered.
She stretched out, grinning playfully, "Okay then... let's have a little adventure all on our own." She then trotted off, knowing that her mother and siblings would still be there when she got back.

The hyena had not been looking at all where he was going and stumbled on to a the dark wild dog. Literally, the hyena walked right INTO the wild dog. The hyena stumbled and felt him self fall to the ground. It took him a second to realize what had just happened.
"Hey kid, you should watch where you're going," The hyena propped him self up and gave the wild dog a scowl.

Pushy. Someone was being pushy. With her. Oh, hell no. Malaika didn't like it when anyone took that kind of tone with her, and she certainly wouldn't accept it from this... punk kid. What was he anyway? Some kinda demented demon dog-lion?
"Watch what you say freak!" Mallie growled, catching herself right away and delibertaly trying to loom over him, even though they were around the same size, "If you wanna fight about it, you've come to the right dog! Besides, if you aren't a kid too, then you're just a short freak, which makes you twice as dumb and as useless!"

Kumo opened his maw and closed it. Oh no she didn't!
"Well, oh yeah!" He was easily dragged into verbal fights. A little to easily for his sake, "Your stupid and a freak and ugly and a girl. " Ylva would have slapped him for using gender as an insult, but she wasn't round here now was she?
The hyena's tail bristled along with his shoulder fur. It was an attempt to look fierce mixed with the showing teeth, but all and all, Kumo was adorable.

Mallie raised an eyebrow at him and then laughed, but it certainly wasn't a good natured sound. "You're the one with a mane! What are you? A lion-dog? Or just a tiny little freak of nature? And being a boy is way better than a smelly boy! Boys are boring and only get into trouble when they screw up!" She stuck her tongue at him, in no way ready to drop the fight yet.
"Plus you're blind and stupid! Probably because you're so bright and girly looking! What did you do? Draw those wings on? HA!" She laughed boldly.

Kumo stuck his tongue out at her , " Blind? PAH! " He laughed, "Maybe from looking at you."
Okay he was angry now and anger always set the course of rage in motion which meant stupidity and childish insults.
"And Im not girly! And I'm a hyena. " The hyena took a step to the side and eyed the female. "What are you any way?" He sniffed the air, what the hell was she?

Mallie was downright offended by that one! "I happened to be a wild dog! And hyenas are stinky and ugly!" Well, okay, so this was the first one she had ever met, but he was tiny! She could get away with walking all over him!
And her mother had told them that they were supposedto be scary. Pah. Nothing scary about this loser.
"Wild dogs are a way more cool proud and noble race! You're just... ewie." She said, deciding that was all he deserved from her!

Kumo growled at Mallie he didn't like her at all. She was a stupid girl wild dog and he was the noble one.
"You're just jealous cause you look like a boy," He stuck his tongue out at her . It wasn't true, he could tell she was a she, but he was mad at being called a girl. Yeah so he did the mature thing to do. More insults.
It seemed the maturity was showing... errr immaturity.

"Better to look like a boy than a weak little girl." Mallie said, sticking out her tongue at the hyena. After all, she didn't take this kind of flack from anyone, and she had seven siblings to practice her namecalling on. She intended to use the practice to the best of her ability, because she was as nasty as you could get, and she liked it that way!
"What are you doing out here all alone? Doesn't anyone tell you that you could get eaten by all kinds of nasty creatures out here?" She taunted, obviously refurring to herself, though it was unlikely that she would be able to kill and eat the little boy. She wasn't that strong yet, but she liked to talk big.
