I was wondering. Do you think that psychic powers are possible? To what extent? Do you think psychic healing could be possible? Please, explain your views on this?

Could you come up with a definition for us? This may seem persnickety but part of answering your question would require that I can understand your cosmology.

Like, what do you percieve as psychic powers, and how do they work? Do you mean psychic like Professor X? Or psychic like John Edwards? Do you see psychic as something like actively manipulating a person's mind, or passively understanding thoughts?

Idk You know, like the kind of psychic powers the way that hollywood portrays it. At least to some extent.

Succubus Sovereign Something like.. helping along a healing process, Such as Reiki? Quote: actually moving something with your mind I do that all the time. Quote: or altering a physical state of something slightly? Again, done on a daily basis.

TeaDidikai redtearsblackwings I believe that it is possible. Its something that I work on in my every day meditation. I know of people who are able to do it. What makes you think that meditation will help? Because meditation is a way to free up your mind, or it has been for me. I've also done Chakra blancings(if thats the right term). As far as I have been told psyic energy is linked to having a clear mind.

Quote: As far as I have been told psyic energy is linked to having a clear mind. Someone misrepresented their personal opinion as fact to you. You may wish to examine that.

Aino Ailill TeaDidikai redtearsblackwings I've also done Chakra blancings(if thats the right term). What elements of the Hindu traditions were present in your work? It is a solely Hindu concept? Chakras? Yes. Other groups have concepts of energy pools present in their systems- but they aren't Chakras in the same way that Norse paganism and my tradition both have Otherworld traditions, neither of which are known as Shaman.

'Kay. I first learned about the chakra system from Naruto (>.<) and so wasn't certain if more prevalent Japanese systems (Buddhism and Shinto) had a concept of it.

Aino Ailill 'Kay. I first learned about the chakra system from Naruto (>.<) and so wasn't certain if more prevalent Japanese systems (Buddhism and Shinto) had a concept of it. My suspicion when it comes to Naruto is that it was jacked from Hinduism. Other traditions- such as Chinese Medicine has a concept that discusses qi and it's relation to energy pools in the body. The closest English approximation I can personally provide (with no claim of accuracy) is Jinglua. I have a tin ear for this kind of thing, so consider yourself warned.
