So I joined this RP called "The Hunters of Dust" and while creating my character I really got carried away and just went with it. This is what I came up with, and I hope you enjoy it. Feel free to let me know what you think, in fact I welcome the criticism. 3nodding I'll probably post now and then with developments in the storyline Jasper's involved in, just for my own records I guess. Anyways, here goes:

The Puppeteer:BuddhaRhythmic
The Puppet: The Dead-Eye, Jasper Jackson
Race: Altered
Gender: Male
Age: 26 years, if theres 2 seasons (dry and wet) then I suppose he is 52 if we're going by that.
Ability or Defining Skill: Jasper Jackson is deadly accurate with his .50-Cal Old English Custom, despite having only one eye. You'd think this impossible, with the lack of depth-perception that would result, but in actuality: losing his left eye was what really made him an exceptional marksman. The blinding of his eye awakened his inner ability: he can enter a state of heightened awareness in order to be able to "feel" the presence of anybody around him. When he enters this state, his reflexes are improved as well. This causes enormous strain on his body and mind, so he can only stay in this state for short periods of time. He makes sure to use it only when he knows he can kill every enemy around him before he falls to the ground, crippled in both mind and body.
Appearance: Jasper is about 6' tall, very lean and fairly muscular; most of his actions require more finesse and agility than raw power. He has matted brown hair that reaches the top of his shoulders. Jasper always wears a long overcoat over his broad shoulders with slotted slabs of bolworm carapace for protection and his hat, which comes down to cover his dark brown eyes. One of his eyes is blind but retains its pigment, and there's a scar where the bullet met the bone in it's brief period of grazing his face. His deeply tanned face is rather unshaven but not unruly, more of a constant 5 o' clock shadow, as he only cleans himself up once every few days.
Bio/Personality: To anybody lucky enough to meet this man on a good day, his name is Jasper Jackson. To any learned marksmen or rival of the law (aka a Raider), Jasper Jackson is known as the Dead-Eye. Jasper was raised in a nomadic raider camp that had destroyed his hometown while he was young. Little 7-year old Jasper, standing next to the remains of his burning home, took up a large stick and began to assault one of the Raiders. After roughing the boy up a bit, but not killing him, the Raiders took him in for his fearless nature and raised Jasper to be one of their own, teaching him their way of life. Having nowhere to go, Jasper let them adopt him, let them feed and clothe him, let them teach him their inner workings, and most importantly, taught him how to survive in this cruel world. He also got them to teach him the art of sharpshooting, and one day he got his chance to lend his skill with a gun to their raids. During Jasper's tenth raid they assaulted a particularly well-armed village, which escalated into a very bloody battle. Jasper's skill was the deciding factor in the battle and he, himself, burned down the final house. This battle had cost him however, with the loss of his left eye. A stray bullet nicked the corner of his face, burning his cornea and blinding him on the left side. The amazing thing, however, was that his accuracy with a pistol actually increased. He seemingly no longer had to even look where he was shooting to hit his mark, which is what earned him his nickname. To express the raiders' gratitude for his fearless efforts and unparalleled skill, he was given a magnificently adorned, and brutally efficient weapon: an Old English .50 Cal Custom Handgun. When he received this gift from the Raiders, he knew it was a sign that he had surpassed all the sharpshooters among their ranks, and that they hoped that he would continue to fight alongside them, and not against them. This feeble attempt at reconciliation was merely not enough, as Jasper left them soon after receiving his new gun. This was much to the dismay and outrage of the raiders, but Jasper had never forgotten his past, and he knew he could not ally with them forever. One day he would have to confront the raiders, but until then, he'd have to find more people as crazy as himself to stand a chance. Jasper knew that though the raiders may not be as skilled as himself, there are way more of them than there are of him. Fortunately for the Dead-Eye, the number of bullets flying at you mean nothing unless they hit their mark...
Survival Skills: Jasper can find sources of water almost anywhere if he looks hard enough. He is also very well conditioned and can travel for long periods of time without rest. His skill with a gun is not only for killing humans, as he can hunt for food should he deem it necessary to waste the bullets.
Other: Jasper cannot "feel" the presence of others unless he enters his altered state. The heightened reflexes are to compensate for the short period of time usage. Also, while not perfect, he is still a damn good shot in his normal state for a guy with only one eye, as he has had plenty of time to adjust to the shortcoming.
