The funny thing about it is, once you know what it is, it gets annoying. Never really beforehand unless you pay attention to tiny sounds during large action sequences. lol
Not unlike The Game.

Back in the day of pre-recorded sound effects that have been re-used too many times to count. I offten hear it in other movies and have a laugh, then have to explain it to my room mates who don't belive me. Side note watch Indiana Jones (any of the original 3) I belive it even appears in Star wars return of the jedi, and many many other movies.

Thou shall not use the Wilhelm scream during sex scenes.
Doctor Who should have its own version of the Wilhelm scream for scenes where a bunch of people are getting killed off by Daleks, Cybermen, Autons, or whatever the rubber suit monster of the week is.
