After a long...LONG walk into Pallet town from her family's farm Cadi finally made it to Professor Oak's Lab. She grunted clinching her stomach from the annoying hunger pains that ravished her body. Stupidly she skipped out on breakfast because she was in such a hurry to set out for the trip to town.
"...Professor Oak?..." Cadi stepped into the lab ignoring the long creak that came from his front door. ..."Profes-s-o..r?" She peered in further seeing the note left by the Professor. After a heafty sigh she walked over picking up and reading over his note about the pokemon available.
..."mmm" She grumbled, putting back down the note wondering if she should ignore her mothers warning and choose the fire pokemon instead. Her hand slowly reached out for the pokeball containing the tiny baby charmander but paused as her hand hovered over the ball.
A deep sigh escaped her and she abruptly moved her hand to the left grabbing any random ball that didn't contain the fire pokemon she so dreamed about. Without caring to look who she chose Cadi swiftly turned on her heels and made her way back out of his Lab.

Once outside Cadi tossed the ball out. "Pokemon! I choose you!" .."whoever you are.." She muttered finishing her sentence.
Out popped Squirtle!
............."well, at least dad will be happy." As she looked down at the tiny turtle like pokemon. She knelt down and offered it a berry as a friendly gesture she brought from the farm. "Might as well make the best of this. Hi, I'm Cadi..." ..."I..will call you.." She thought for a moment... "Splash."
She nick named it "bulb bulb"
