the Academy for Mystics is a special school for anyone with 'out of the normal talents' as the Academy puts it. They work with the government, and anyone with these 'talents' is forced to come, and no matter how much they avoid it, they will be admitted eventually. Rumors are spread of murders within the school walls because of rebellion, and all of the older students seem like robots, doing the exact thing every day, over and over and over. The 'nice' teachers all seem to be hiding something, and the new students are determined to find out what it is, but what will happen when they find out what it is? And if worse-comes-to-worse, will they be strong enough to fight back?

Magena hates the school as soon as she sees it. The tall, colorless walls seem so… prison-like. She had heard so many rumors about students that had been killed because of their refusal to obey some of the rules. How many of those were true, no one knows. Magena took a deep breath as she approached the bottom of the steps that led into the prison/school. "Here goes nothing," she mutters and takes the first step of one hundred-something or other steps.

Xera was dragged into a room with a bed and toilet. "What is this a ******** jail?"

Magena watched in bewilderment when she reached the giant double doors as older kids passed her, all moving at the same time, their legs going up and down robotically. Up, down, up, down, up, down. Not one of them out of beat. What happened behind these walls?

Magena was almost certain that she heard a voice. She turns around, but no one is there. Was she going crazy? No! There it is again. "Hey…you…" she is almost certain that it is coming from… the wall!? She feels along the wall, and presses her ear against it. She can hear someone struggling inside. Suddenly, she sees a light switch, but there aren't any mechanical lights for it to turn on and off. She flips it, and a part of the wall moves up. A teenage-looking boy is tied up. Magena takes out a dagger and cuts his wrists free and hands him the dagger.

Xera tears of his muzzle and gives her a half smile. "Thanks.... Um, what are you?"

Midnight slams herself at the stone door. "Let me out or i'll kill you!" Midnight yells. No answer. Her eyes turning black with anger. She rapidly throws fire at the walls and door, tears of anger welling up in her eyes. No use. She screams and slams into the door again. Black tears leak down her cheeks. Two big men rush in the moment she gives up. They slam her into the wall with brutal force that would kill any mortal. They strap gloves to her that shrink instantly to fit her wrists obviously impossible to get off. She kicks and squirms but their grip is too unbreakable. They put a pill in her mouth and tilt her head back making her swallow. They quickly leave. Midnight steps forward feeling light headed. She falls on the ground. She wakes up after an hour or so of being passed out. there is a metal band on her wings. All she is wearing is a black ripped tank top and black skinny jeans. She stands up. Sunlight shone through the small window in her cell. She flinches and jumps into the shadows.

Midnight hears talking outside. finally someone with free will midnight thought. She stood on her toilet looking out the window flinching by the light. "hey! help me!" Midnight yells out the window.

Xera hears Midnight on the other side of the wall next to them and start's walking towards it. "Just a sec." He said punching a hole clear through it grabbing the other side and pulling the wall out.

Midnight looks at Xera and smiled her face wet with tears. Her eyes turn back to red and she runs up to him and gives him a huge hug. Just then the door to her cell opens. Two men rush in and she runs around them and grabs the keys. Quickly she runs out of the hole in Xera's cell to the outside. She takes off the band on her wings and the gloves with the keys. Then a bunch of men in uniforms rush out of the front entrance. Midnight help me, Damion, and Jacob are on the third floor! Mimi says in her head. Midnight's eyes turn black again and she leaps into the air only to fall back down too weak to fly. She turns to Xera. "you have to help me get my friends!"

Xera threw a ball of fire at the barred window on the second floor melting it. He then picked her up and threw her at the hole in the window then grabbed Magena by the waist and threw her up to the window to. "Save Damion and Jacob I'll hold them off!" He said jumping over one as he ran at him, when he landed someone grabbed him and he grabbed his arms and threw him at the wall. "Just go!"

Midnight ran through the hole and shot a wave of fire killing six guards. She ran up the ominous stairs and to a door that she smelt Jacob in.

Xera did a back flip onto a light fixed next too the window she had jumped through and jumped through too. He landed next to her pulled out his black sword and cut through the door slicing it in half like butter. "Get him hurry!"
