How to join First Squad:
Please post an RP sample so that I may over look it. Now, understand that when I say sample I mean something realistic. I don't want you to write something that is abnormal for you. My advice would be to pull it from one of your older roleplays. Along with this I want a link to your COMPLETED profile so that I may look it over. I'll most likely be on every day or every other day, but like everyone else I have a life so if it gets hectic and I miss your request, please send me a pm. I won't bite, I promise.
Tips for your RP sample:
Keep your grammar simple:
Not everyone is inside your head, so keeping it to simple words when describing complex movements helps. I am not looking for a spelling bee champ, with a vocabulary the size of Bill Gate's bank account, but with that said I also don't want to see someone using vocabulary that a fourth grader could out-do. Writing in third person is a must for First Squad. I know it sounds harsh, but it's easier for everyone else to read so please do it.
Stay away from RP no-no's:
Meaning one liners, god-moding, puppet mastering, shoe elfing and other such things. If you don't know what these are, don't fret. It means you're probably not doing them. If I see you do something you will get one warning and then you will be contacted by the crew.
Length is good:
Self explanatory really. The longer your post is, the better. Make it descriptive, but also know that I, along with everyone else, will know when you make it hideously long for no reason. If you're having trouble coming up with something, let it be a bit shorter then your others or wait until later when you might think of something better. All of us get writers block at some point, you will be no different.
When I see your application to the squad complete I will review it and tell you whether or not you are accepted. I tend to be pretty lenient, but I will not budge on the rules above.
