Kuyaa had grown handsomly - though he would never say so himself. Teal eyes bore into the horizon, amuysed by the random shapes that made up the line. A sigh, however, escaped the young male's maw. He had long since left his family, just after he was weened from the teet.
In fact, his own father took him, but he left him too. For now, as a lone prey beast, he kept on guard, using his agility and ability to practically walk vertically on a cliff to his advantage.
The whie tipped tail flicked for a second, as Kuyaa started walking - an amused twinkle constantly in his soulful eyes.
Today, he decided, would be a good day.

Corbin had no idea he was on path with his older brother. When he was just weened he'd gotten terribly lost chasing after someone. He had no idea who it was. Only that he smelled like their mother. A sibling, Kuyaa in fact. He hadn't wanted him to go with father.
But all that was a distant shadow on his memory. He knew what his family smelled like. He thought he remembered what his mother looked like. That was enough, wasn't it? How many others like him could there be? And now that he had his full horns he could protect himself at least a little.
When he purposed to Asenath, his lion friend, that he go find his family he thought she'd deny him. He never realized he wasn't a prisoner. Not that she treated him like one. He was a good friend to her and she liked having adventures with him. And he had started to like her. At least he wasn't afraid of the family anymore.
So when he was given his freedom with smiles and encouragement he felt his heartstrings pull. She cared about him and if he found his family then he would gladly return to her someday.
He glanced around as he climbed upward. High places felt safe and he already missed the cliffs that made up the En Gedi pride. He was king of them. He could get higher then even the strongest lions.
He blinked spotting white on dark. Much like him. Carefully he crept forward, his nub of a tail wagging. Was it another one like him? It certainly was the right size.

Eyes turning to the direction of the sun, Kuyaa looked around - he enjoyed the night more then day, if only for the stories he could tell and the stories he could listent to, but the day was just as well.
Looking around, he flicked a purple and white ear, watching the shadows dance and the blade of grass glow. It made him smile, thinking of eloquent and discriptive words - ones he knew - and formulating stories quickly. He thought in context of stories.
A shape, another prey beast? Another klipspringer at least, seemed to be getting closer to him. The sun slightly hurt his eyes, but he could make out a grey body with a white blanket covering it's back - and horns, so a male.
"Hello, there." He called out.

Still wagging his nub and approaching carefully he crept ever closer to the male. He was shy and nervous by his movements and kept his head down low, ready to run if the other proved aggressive.
At the gretting, however, he lifted his head and smiled. "Hello!" He called out but his voice was still small. He finally made it withing a good viewing distance and stared at him. He looked... well he felt like he knew him. "...My name's Corbin... I'm... looking for my family..."
