This give me plenty of time to plan a party... BUT...
what should I do to plan a purim party, it's been a while since I've done one.

Purim is a time of costumes so costume party is easy.
You can try being specific to a game or time period you enjoy (give lots of warning so people can plan their costumes for it)

Masquerades are my favorite! I would suggest lots of good food. Last spring I remember us talking about disguising Jewish food as sushi...or did I dream that?
On a similar note, we're having a Halloween party next month. I'm going to be a mermaid!
