It was a cooler day in the C dimension, with autumn well underway and the harvest already collected for the year. In the forests near the main town the trees were shedding their yearly leaves, preparing for the upcoming winter. It was in one of the poorly lit glades that a worm hole opened up and from it rose a man and a young boy. The ground closed below them and they stood in the long green sweet grasses of the northern woods.
"I know that was a sudden change in atmosphere," Azerol began as he let go of Cozen's arm and took a couple of steps away, "but it was necessary to lose them again for now. We need to rethink what we want to do to make sure that what happened does not occur again." He turned and looked at the boy, his eyes shading to an orange color, reflecting the leaves of the nearby trees. He took a deep breath of crisp air, remembering what it was like to live at home during the fall months.
But what jerked him out of his memories was the soft sound of leaves rustling a short ways away. Whatever was moving was approaching them fast, too fast for the dragon to change forms and protect the younger prince. So he growled and drew his claws and dragon fangs, hoping it would scare off whatever was coming.
With a full-force blow, Azerol was knocked off his feet and sent rolling through the leaves with another humanoid creature. When the two had stopped rolling, the newcomer laughed and sat up, brushing some hair out of her face. "Of all people I did not expect you to appear randomly in my woods. Welcome back, Az," she chirped with a large grin, as if she had meant to tackle the dragon.
Azerol frowned and let his features return to his human form before standing and growling softly, "you know I do not like surprises, Vyvor. You're lucky that I did not seriously hurt you, or hurt myself." He did smirk after saying this and offered a hand out to the woman to help her up. She rose and the dragon gave her a hug before stepping back towards Cozen.
The woman, now taking notice of the young boy, grinned and trotted over to the prince. "And Prince Cozen too! Wow, its like a meeting of the sins of royalty! What a treat!!" she hugged Cozen as well, giving him a pat on the back before creating some distance and asking, "well, what are you two princes doing in the woods of the C dimension? Looking for a princess, perhaps, or exploring for some long lost childhood games we never were allowed to play?"
Azerol smiled and stated, "actually, I convinced Cozen to become a rebel like us, and we went to Earth. Unfortunately we ran into some complications with spies and assassins and hard rocks, so I had to whisk us out of there, and this was the first place I could think of that would allow us to plot our next moves."
"Is that so?" she asked, looking at Cozen with curiosity. "Well, if you need anything at all I am at your service. Trust me, I have been itching for a fight since I clobbered a few guards a couple of weeks back who were heckling me for some skin."

While Azerol was nocked over and rolling, Cozen felt dazed again, not quiet yet used to the dragon worm holes. He had his hand in his hair, some blue streeks he could not see had apeared, along with some black ones, but his hair was still prodomitally blonde. Listening to the two figures, he noted their history {or what he was able to gather}, and listed while he was adressed. He gave a small laugh as Azerol said that they rand into some rocks, mostly Cozen did, but neather the less, he was starting to feel the energy return to him. As the girl, as Azerol called her Vyvor, finished talking to him, well to both Azerol and himself, he gave a nod. "Its what he said... Just out to be out I guess." He gave a nervous smile, still not sure what made him agree to the dragons offer.

Azerol laughed and threw his arm around the boy's shoulder, giving him a sideways hug and stated, "isn't he great? Just so adorable...and so young!" He ruffled the boy's hair, noticing the color change and smiling down at him.
"Uh-huh...just wanting to 'meet' royalty isn't going so well for you, is it Azerol?" Vyvor sneered at the dragon, turning away from him and pretending to ignore him. Inside she was hurt, but not in a way that she thought she would be. After all, she did know that he was going to go meet Cozen, just not drag him everywhere with him.
Azerol rolled his eyes and whispered to Cozen, "she is jealous." Then he raised his voice and added, "well then I guess we will just leave then. Come on, Cozen, lets take a walk through the woods. I just love the fall months!"
Vyvor spun on her heels to face them, her face with a cold smirk on it. "You think that by saying you are going to leave you will sway me to not be jealous of your new little 'boyfriend'? Well guess what Azerol, you may be pretending to do this just to get me to leave you alone, but know that what you are doing is seen as 'unnatural' in the eyes of the world." She began to walk off in no particular direction, but stopped and turned to add, "one day you will come around, and you will realize what you have been missing out on all your life." She opened up her own worm hole and stepped through it, making it close behind her.
"Whatever...." the dragon growled after her, rolling his eyes again and letting go of Cozen. He shook his head and took a couple of steps away from the prince, muttering under his breath, "and that is why I do not share my sexuality with others...."

Cozen had quite the blank look on his face. Not sure what to think about the current situation. Azerol just basically said that he liked Cozen, even the female saw it. Cozen however, had his own secret, one that all Devolins held. Each Devolin, to complete the whole sinner of all sins, was born bi, meaning they liked males and females. His own father had gone through quite the lot of both, but only mated with an angel {his mother} for some odd reason. Cozen figured it was the whole 'I am a big bad sinner' type of thing his father had going on. "I couldn't care less." Cozen said, following the man, but then jogging ahead of him, feeling more energy, a little to much for the moment.

Azerol smiled weakly and stated very properly, "'its not socially acceptable.' 'its not natural.' 'you will come to realize that you really are not.' You know, after a point you just find it easier to just hide it away than to put up with the remarks of society."
He slowed his pace and then scoffed at what he had just admitted to. "You know what, this is the first time I have openly admitted this to anybody. This is crazy..."

Cozen stopped, turned around, and came closer to him. "Thats why all Devolins are born Bi. Others consider it a Sin, and some as you just stated. But in hell, people could care less as we are all sinners. As a royal of such creatures we are not really expected to follow any line of liking or not. But we are born atracted to either or." He said, not sure if he should of or not.

"Dragons have always been straight. But I am not an ordinary dragon, either...." he stated with a smirk, summoning up fire and ice with the greatest of ease to prove his point. "Its very rare that a dragon can use the full extent of their powers in a humanoid form." He watched Cozen as he reabsorbed the fire and ice into his body.
He stepped forward and put his hands on the boy's cheeks, letting him feel how hot one of them was and how cold the other was. He withdrew them and stood looking down at him, his eyes changing colors to a deep blue-purple. "Cozen....I want to tell you something, but I feel as if it is too soon to say anything. We have barely known each other for a day or two, but....." He stopped and turned his head away, looking out at the nearby leaves on the ground.

Cozen gave a laugh, not a mocking one either. "Once again, I couldn't care less, I mean having something against it. As you heard I swing either way." He smirked, and turned back around. "If you want to admit it, go ahead." He said as he stolled forward a bit.

Azerol watched the boy, his eyes darkening a bit before changing to a defensive cool blue color and his skin tinting slightly before returning to its normal pale shade. He followed Cozen, quickening his pace to catch the boy, then stepping in front of him and stopping completely.
"To Hell with it all, Cozen. I am tired of putting on a facade for all to see whenever I am around you," he stated, a hint of excitement creeping into his semi-angry voice. He took the boy in his arms and began to, of all things, dance about. "I do not care who knows it, but I want to take you wherever I go, and show you the world that is at your fingertips. I want to take you dancing and bowling and to concerts and cow tipping. I want to go cloud hopping and driving and exploring and swimming in the ocean. I want to run until we have nowhere left to go and count the stars together while we sleep amongst scorching hot fires and wake up in the snow."
He stopped dancing about and set the boy down, grinning with glee and his eyes a light green now. The dragon seemed to glow with his new-found excitement with his best friend. "I want to give you everything you never had, and show you what it is like to be free," Azerol added softly, now down at eye-level with the prince.

Cozen fell onto his back with laughter. He couldn't stop, but it was a good laughter, one that he hadn't had in a while. After some time it turned into a joyful cry, as he hadn't had any one offer him so much. He pressed his hands into his eyes, out of shame more or less. The prince of hell doesn't cry! he thought to himself, but yet he still smiled as he couldn't wait to do all of those things, even if he didn't know what half of them were.

Azerol stood over the prince after he had fallen down laughing and chuckled to himself. He felt good inside, and was happy to have shared part of his wants with this boy. But while he was filled with joy to see the boy laughing himself to tears, inside he wanted to say more, to share so much more. But it would have to wait for now.
He withdrew a white handkerchief from his coat pocket and offered it to the boy, who seemed to be hiding his tears with his hands. "Its alright, my Prince. Everybody cries sometimes, whether they cry for joy or for sorrow. It just shows that we do have emotions and are not cold to the world."

Sitting up, he revealed his partly red eyes, red from him pressing against them. His face was a bit streeked as well. He took up the cloth and wiped off his face with it. "Thanks." He drew his knees up to him, and hugged them. "Can I ask you something.. I mean with out you taking offense to it..." Cozen wondered something, and it had been in the back of his mind for a while now.

His smile fading into a more serious look, Azerol squatted down in front of Cozen and looked at him. "You can always ask me whatever you want to, Cozen. What is on your mind?" he asked with curiosity. It seemed like a sudden change of moods, from laughing until it hurts to serious conversations.

"Um.." Cozen hesitated to ask, not knowing how he would react to the question. But he had to know. "Aren't you really old?" Cozen didn't mind it as Azerol didn't look so old, but dragons looks were never true. You could have two people looking about the same age but one being way younger and the other really really old. They were confusing to such a way that Cozen wanted to get it straight. "I mean old... I mean..." Cozen put his hands on his head and made a sound of annoyment. "Sorry.. You don't have to answer.. its rude any ways.." Cozen trialed off as his eyes did as well. Off to the side, he felt like an idiot. Some coloration had already danced its way across his face, and now at the end of this it had darkened up quite a bit.

The dragon's face colored, and he looked away from the boy. He had always thought that his age disqualified him to be attractive for any other species who did not nearly have as long of a lifespan as he did. "It depends on.....what you consider really old...." he mumbled softly. "I am 802 years old, which is still kinda young for my species. We are just meant to live longer than most species, some of us live forever."
