The copy I bought was actually signed by Richelle Mead! -happiness- But anyway I thought so far it's okay but not as interesting as the last three books to my dismay. The alchemist thing totally threw me off.

I whole-heartedly agree with you on the alchemist thing. For my full rant/opinion, see 'was "Blood Promise" good?'. Although, I can't see how having a book signed by ichelle Mead is exciting. When I first read VA the first thing I though - rather scornfully, I might add - was 'Ameteur.' I sincerely thought it was her first book. Normally later books don't contain plot holes.

My copy was signed as well when I went to her book signing, it was also personalized smile . I kind of thought it was disappointing as well as anti-climatic >.< .Though since that is the case I feel Spirit Bound is going to be even better.
