ive seen alot of manga that gets its major themes off of religious things and such, but they twist it to make it moer fun to read..
Some of these titles include Chrono Crusade, Angel Sanctuary, Diablo, and Shaman King.
The first three deal with christian/ catholic beliefs and thier messed up adventures. and the last is a work on a Native American tourament to choose a new savior. Why do they take such things and mess up its true meanings if only to create good stuff to sell?

I agree with what you're saying 100%. One of my favorite mangas and animes just happens to be Hellsing, where they claim to be killing the undead in the name of God. Sounds a lot like the Crusaders. Isn't killing a sin? I guess not if you're doing the killing FOR God. But doesn't that mean you're doing Gods job, BEING God?? gonk Too much thinking.
But really, I can see your point. But also, think of this. Where would entertainment, comedy and a lot of other things come from if we didn't analyze, spoof and make fun of things? neutral
