((I apologize about the start... I am still getting use to actually RPing a human and its more difficult then I expected it to be!))

Louisa had decided that she was going to do some shopping, she didn't really know why as shopping was far from her favourite thing. She did need some new clothes though and some stuff for school so it made sense that she would go shopping she just didn't like the crowds and would rather not go if she could help it. However she had put it off and off and so today she had gone.

She had been round a few shops already and had some clothes and some books and a new bag which she really liked. The bag was also useful as it was big enough to put all her new books in and that is what she found herself doing. She had found a bench in the mall to sit on and so was sorting her stuff out, moving bags about, putting things in different bags. She wanted to try and get it to be in some sort of order. After putting yet another book in to her new school bag she looked up and noticed just how busy the mall was today.

She had planned to go home before it got this busy but it seemed that things hadn't quite worked out how she had hoped but then does anything work out how you want it? She let out a sigh and started playing around with the straps on her new bag while trying to work out if she needed to get anything else.

(Sorry for the slow reply, my Grandma called)

Mili hefted a large bag around. In it she had a couple pairs of new shoes. The same style, Mary Janes, in both black and white. She also could have gotten a pair in red, but it was too flashy for her style. All this walking around was starting to make her tired, and she decided to rest for a moment.

She approached a set of benches; one had another girl on it, and the other was vacant. She went to the open bench and sat down. Mili watched as the other girl sorted things from bag to bag. This made little sense to her as then each item wouldn't be in the bag from the store it came from.

"Pardon me, not that I'm nosey or anything, but I couldn't help but notice that you're shifting all of your goods around."

Louisa looked up and smiled.

"Yeah, its so I know what is school stuff and what isn't. Otherwise I will get home and probably confuse myself or put it all away and forget where I put it." She hoped she didn't sound too crazy and well she wasn't that forgetful it just made more sense to her.

"I am a bit late on the school shopping too so it seemed to just be easier to throw school stuff in my new school bag. Then I won't have to fish about for it later." Yep she was probably sounding crazy but well she was shopping and that was weird and now she was talking to a stranger so well crazy was nothing. This was all really weird!

"Oh I am Louisa by the way!"

StarieMichie

Mili wasn't quite sure how to respond to all of that. It kind of made sense, but kind of not at the same time. She realized she probably had a blank stare on her face that was making Louisa uncomfortable.

"My name is Milla, but you may call me Mili," she decided an introduction was a safe place to start, "You are here school shopping? You're right when you say you're running late with it then. I did mine ages ago already."

Mili didn't recognize her, either she must be a Freshman, a transfer, or she went to Meddowview. "Which school do you go to, Louisa?" she asked.

Louisa was glad when Mili started talking, at least it meant she didn't feel completely crazy now.

"It's nice to meet you Mili!" She smiled at her, wondering if this was going to be a nice conversation.

"Oh I know I am running late, I was trying to put it off but then going back to school made me realise I really had to come so here I am!" She knew that probably sounded weird. Most seemed to like shopping at least thats what she seemed to be finding.

"I go to Meadowview. Where do you go?"

StarieMichie

Drat. Mili was always scouting for new girls to join her clique' at school, but never seemed to run into them. She put on a smile, "I go to Crystal."

"I'm just here shopping today for some new shoes. It seems as if my old ones had gotten a bit dirty, and are in need of replacing." She pulled out one of the boxes from her bag and removed the shoes, holding one up for Louisa to see. "They're near identical to my old ones; why change up a good thing?" She had a twinkle in her eye and a bit of a smile as she put the shoe lovingly back into it's box and set it into the bag.

"Oh cool, do you know Eve?" She couldn't help but wonder. She didn't know if they were even in the same year at school but it was the same school so you never know. Eve was also really nice, at least she had been when Louisa met her.

"Oh yes I completely agree, I love my shoes, they are so comfortable and so I know its safe to go with them when I need to get new ones." Louisa wasn't really a shoe girl but she would talk about them if someone else was and she did agree. "You have really nice shoes." She thought she would comment, she wasn't sure if they were really that nice or not but they looked good to her.

StarieMichie

"I haven't met Eve yet," Mili tried to talk to as many people as possible, but it didn't aways happen, "or at least I don't think I have. Maybe if I saw her I'd recognize her." Sometimes faces and names all blended together for her, a mass of people that just kind of faded into one. Mili could remember all sorts of complex strategies for chess and other games, but for some reason that knowledge seemed to squeeze out other details she should really keep track of.

"And thank you! I love my new shoes! Comfort and practicality always win out over style, but it's nice to find ones that fulfill both of those requirements."

"Hopefully you will meet her soon then. She seemed really nice." Louisa smiled as she spoke and looked down at her bags. She had done all the shopping she needed and should probably start heading home soon. She needed to put the non-school stuff away and get on with some homework or something.

She just nodded to whatever the girl said realising that she hadn't listened to a word the girl had just said. She really needed to listen when people spoke to her and to stop going off in to her own little 'dream world' as her mother called it.

"Have you much more shopping to do?"

"Not really. I'm pretty much done with my shopping that I need to do. Of course, the shopping that I have to do and the shopping I'm doing because I want to are two different things." Mili noticed that Louisa was looking like she wasn't really interested and kind of like she wanted to leave. Talking was Mili's strong point... well, one of her many strong points, and she knew that she did tend to drag on sometimes.

'But who wouldn't want to listen to me?' she thought, and then let out an audible sigh.

"If you must be going, I shan't hold you any longer."

Louisa nodded but her head shot up suddenly.

"Oh no I am not in any rush to go! Sorry, I tend to get distracted easily." She suddenly felt a little guilty. She had a habit of switching off and she knew it was really really bad!

"So what shopping did you need to do? Just your shoes?" See she had been listening a little! She felt a little better about that at least. "What kind of clothes are you in to? Any style?" So now was the time to bombard her with questions. She just had to listen, it wasn't that hard it was just there so many distractions!

"It's okay" Mili chimed back relieved that it wasn't entirely her fault Louisa wasn't listening.

"All I had to buy were new shoes. I might do more shopping for clothes to wear outside of school. If something catches my eye, I'll buy it." Mili had a hard time describing her personal style though, because it wasn't really much of a style. She was kind of practical, but always wearing dress-casual, some would say she was plain. Mostly she wore neutral colors because they were easier to match, and didn't change with the seasons like some colors did.

"My style is my own," she attempted, "I like clothes that fit well and are comfortable. What do you like to wear?"

Louisa nodded as she listened - see she was actually listening!

"Oh cool I tend to dress in a 'punk' like style but very loosely. I mix and match a lot of stuff until I find something I like but then again if I find a pink dress which looks good then I will wear that. I guess I don't really stick to one style but go with whatever I feel like on that day." She smiled as she spoke, she loved to change her style though the reason she did so wasn't normally because she felt like it but more because she was hanging around with people that day that usually wore this style or that style. She liked to fit in as much as she can.

"Flexibility, eh?" Changing up her style never really occurred to Mili. She didn't really aim to please anyone, and didn't pay attention to what was current so much. Although, it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to try.

"Well, if I ever need to find a new style, I'll know who to come to then," she said with a smile, "but you must forgive me as I will be going now. Rain check?" Mili pulled a small leather-bound notebook out of her purse and a pen, and scribbled her number down and passed it to Louisa.

Louisa smiled and nodded as she listened but then looked rather shocked as Milla gave her a phone number. That was unexpected.

"Thanks and I will give ya a call I guess!" Louisa smiled and looked down at the number still really shocked. She would have to give her a call sometime, if only so she could then give her number back. Louisa was a little funny about writing numbers down in case they got lost and some random person tried to call her.
