Blake sat in the meadow, looking up at the cloudy sky. The Summer was ending, Autumn was approaching fast, and Halloween was right around the corner. He was excited, even if he didn't show it. "Maybe this year I'll actually dress up," he said to himself with a grin, remembering his and Candy's after Halloween discussion about doing a sort of theme together, like Joker and Harley. As he thought of Candi he frowned. He hadn't talked with her in awhile. He missed her, and was sure that everyone was starting to notice. Laying down, he began to nap, hoping that maybe he'd get the chance to see her again soon.

Candi slipped on her shoes and stepped out of the door to her cottage. It was a little cloudy, but still nice weather and a fairly good temperature. She had nothing to do inside, which was nothing unusual, and was feeling a little lonely. She really missed Blake because she hadn't talked to him in awhile.
As she pondered why it was that she hadn't seen him recently she walked towards the meadow. It may have been an absent minded decision, but it was a good one because many namrah often gathered in the meadow.
As soon as she stepped out of the covering of the forest she saw a familiar form sleeping in the grass. A smile spread across her face and she bounded over to him, slowing down and then coming to a stop beside him. She wondered how best to wake him up. Perhaps he wasn't really sleeping, only looking like he was sleeping. She placed a hand on his shoulder and nudged him gently. "Blake.."

Blake was just about to break into that crazy nightmare with the Candy Monster when he was nudged by Candi. Opening his eyes, he blinked for a moment, before realizing who had awoken him. He got up, yawning slightly before smiling at her. "Heya Candi!" he said cheerfully, "What's up?" He was glad to see her, the femmes back home being either annoying or anti-social. That, and with his only real friend Tay out of the house, he really hadn't had much of anyone to talk to. That of course, and his feelings for Candi still hadn't changed.

It was quite cute, the way he looked a little confused, blinked a few times, and then yawned when she had woken him up. She smiled back, quite happy that he looked glad to see her. It was funny how she had just been thinking about Blake, and then she ran into him in the meadow. She was happy to see him too, and she was sure her answering smile said that.
"Hey, sleepy head!" She giggled softly and nudged him playfully. "I was just looking for something to do. What have you been up to, other than sleeping?"
She glanced around the meadow to see if any other namrah were there. There were some namrah off in the distance but none that were very near by. It was a nice day, despite the clouds. Candi was actually thankful for them - they kept some of the heat from the sun's rays away. She would be happier once it became a little later and the sun started to go down.

Blake hadn't noticed the weather, he really hadn't been out in the sun much. He laughed as he was nudged, glad for Candi's playful demeanor. "This and that," he replied, "Though it's been pretty boring. No one at home ever wants to do much of anything."

Candi laughed along with him. "Well poo on them! That's why you have me here!" She grinned and gave him a wink. "We can find something fun to do!" She was sure of this, because she always had fun with Blake. She wondered what kind of things would be in store for the rest of the day.

Blake grinned, glad to have Candi around. She was right, the dull-ness of life was why he had her around. "Did you have anything in mind?" he asked. He'd been bored for so long with nothing to do that he really wasn't sure what there was to do.

She put her hands on her hips and tossed her head back to look at the sky. "Hmmm....." She tried to think of something they could do. Then something random came to her.
"Hey...you're a skater boy, right? Do you have a board?" She didn't know what had made her think of it, but she thought it would be cool to see Blake skate. She wasn't sure if he had ever said anything about it, but he just looked like the type. Heck, she might even give it a try if he let her.

Blake nodded. He occasionally forgot about his board, having not found a suitable place to really skate in Namiah. "Of course I have a board," he said, "We could pick it up at my place if you want to see it." He smiled, then stopped, unable to remember the current state of his room. Had he cleaned it recently? He looked at the ground for a moment, trying to think, but nothing would tell him. He looked back at Candi, "Of course, it's hard to find a place to skate. The grass makes for too much friction. We'd need dirt, or stone, or something smooth.

Candi smiled. That had been what she was wanting to hear. "Alright! Awesome, I'd like to see it. You just lead the way."
She watched as he stared at the ground, wondering what it was he was thinking so hard about, but then when he made his next statement, Candi just guessed he had been thinking about where they would skate at. And that was a very good question.
"Namiah should totally make a skate park." She thought for a second, and then, "Well anyway I'm sure we could find some dirt somewhere."

"A skate-park? That'd be totally awesome!" Blake cheered, "But for now we should see what we can find for dirt," Blake paused, a thought striking him, "Wait! I've got it!" He grinned and turned towards his home, "C'mon Candi, once we grab my board I've got an awesome idea."

She grinned about his idea and wondered what it could be. She didn't ask, but decided she'd wait till she could see for herself.
"Awesome, I can't wait!" she said and she started to follow him to his home. She had never been to his house before, and the excitement about that was enough to hold her curiosity of what his idea was.

Blake led Candi to the mouth of the cave, a large prominent blueberry bush to the left of the opening. He looked back at her, then smiled, "Don't be fooled, there's way more to this place than first meets the eye." From there he went inside and pulled back the large blanket that was the door to the home. Holding it open for her he revealed the true nature of the inner parts of the cave. The blanket opened up a large circular space with a kitchenette/dining room on one half, and a small living area on the other. The floor was cheap tile, in the process of being replaced with wood that was stacked against one of the walls. In Flannery's favoirte bean bag chair, next to the fireplace of the living area, sat Shula, a Spanish children's book in her hands. Near the back of the living area was a long hallway with doors built into the cave sides that made it up and another large blanket at it's end. Faint accordion music could be heard coming from the further end of the hall. "Welcome to The Wayward Cave!" Blake said with a smile.
((lol, this post is so long XD I'm sorry!))

((no it's good XD Mine's long too ;p ))
Candi looked around on their way there, trying to remember the surroundings. She liked to remember where things were so that she could find them again. Not that she'd ever come here without Blake's permission first, but she just liked to have an idea of where she was. She smiled to Blake when they passed the blueberry bush, encouraging him to go forward and letting show how interested she was to see the inside of his home.
Candi's eyes widened as the blanket was pulled back to reveal the inside of the cave. It was so homey inside that it almost lost the "cave" feel. There was tiled floor and wood paneling, a kitchen, and even a little living area with furniture. It was really something, and Candi really liked it.
As Candi's eyes swept past the fireplace and the bean bag chair with Shula on it she nodded a polite greeting towards her. She wondered why she hadn't seen the fireplace sticking out of the rock of the cave before, but then again, she hadn't been looking for it.
The music completed the warm homey feel and finally after Candi had taken everything in she smiled at Blake and reinforced her liking of the place. "It's really great, I love it!"

Shula looked up upon Blake and Candi's entrance and returned Candi's nod with a small shy one of her own. She'd seen very few anthros, and was scared enough by normal Namrah.
Blake gave a broad smile, glad to see Candi's reaction. The namrah who lived here typically got a bad rap for living in a cave, but it was actually a rather nice place. He waved to Shula, who waved back, then turned to look at Candi again. "My room's second on the left in the hall. C'mon I'll show you," he was excited to show her around, proud of where he lived, even if he still couldn't remember if his room was clean or not. He walked down the long hallway in the back of the main room to a door that looked about as recycled and mismatched as he did. "Ready? I warn you, I don't remember how bad it may be in there."
