 Barazahi padded along next to her daughter, water hole in sight ahead. That pretty shimmering light... Would certainly clean off the spitty mess that Daeze's tail had become. Many-a-time had Raza come to tidy up at a water hole like this, and coming here for this purpose was almost second nature to her. After she was done with her daughter... She figured she could use a touch-up herself. She glanced up at her bangs, seeing that, yes, they were mildly disheveled. And she couldn't have that- not even a little bit possible.
How to clean her daughter's tail tuft, though, was a different thing. She didn't want to get her paws dirty, but she knew she'd have to. It was kinda difficult to clean your own tail, after all. "And after this, I propose a nap in the sun until your father gets back," Raza suggested to her daughter with a smile. "The sun will help dry everything in the right place, after all."
Barazahi just loved prettying up with her daughter. While their talk earlier (and their reason to go clean up in the first place) wasn't anything light-hearted, Raza couldn't help but smile at the time she'd get to spend with Daeze.

 Just like her mother, Daeze was quite happy with anything shiny. She saw the crystalline pool and her eyes widened. It was so beautiful, and she didn't seem to be the only one that thought so, as exotic plants seemed to find relief from the parched desert in the cool oasis. She was lucky that a place like this even existed, and was glad she was able to have her distressed tail brought back to it's lively white self here.
Just walking with her mother seemed soothing. It brought back memories of when she was a cub, and her mother taught her how to get ready for the day, how to make sure that she always looked presentable in public. After all, the world did have a tendency to judge based on first appearances, and Raza was the one that taught her to speak with her looks, matching your mood, if she felt sassy, like she usually did, sweet, or whatever she felt.
"Why of course! That sounds like a wonderful idea. There's nothing like a warm mid-day nap to calm you down.", she said dreamily. Her mother and her were so close, they were actually friends. She was like a wise mentor that had taught her the way the world works, and someone she could still go to, or just have a spa day with.

Hermes lay in the long grasses not far from where the two females stood bathing in the cool waters. He blinked sleepily as he heard them speak and move through the waters and he muffled a silent yawn. Scratching behind one nearly hidden black ear the pale green and pink male let a smile lift his maw.
"Wow" he mumbles to himself watching the bathing beauties with soft blue eyes, the smile on his maw spread wider and he let a rumbling purr roll over his chest. This place was a gold mine for babes, of course, 'HIS' Daeze was bathing along side the equally gorgeous blue lady.
He smiles quietly simply being a peeping tom, watching the ladies as they sorted one another's fur, this had to be his lucky day right? two lovelies taking a bath.

Raza dipped her paws into the water and smiled, just the right temperature. "Alright Daeze," Raza said, reaching for her tail tuft. She dipped it into the water and swished it around gently with her paws. The right amount of scrubbing, and that part should be good and clean. After a few minutes.... All looked well. "There, mostly better. We could add some stuff to the water to make it smell pretty, if you wanted, but I'm sure a good rinse first would be best." Raza said. "You can take care of your bangs, right? I'll fix up the details after you get most of it done?" Raza offered. She really had in mind to fix her own bangs, too.

Daeze was relieved to feel that the water was cool, but not cold. Perfect for bathing and then taking a well deserved cat nap. She knew how hard it must have been for her mother to get her paws dirty for her, but that just showed how strong their bond was. She was possibly the only cub that really became and stayed that close with her parents. Though she was her mother, she really felt like Raza was also one of her girlfriends. She was perfectly happy talking about vanities, lions, all the normal things Daeze talked about with her friends.
At the mention of adding something to make her smell pretty, her eyes sparkled. Daeze absolutely adored anything that smelled nice, and with all the colorful plants around, she would have no trouble finding something. But for now she had to focus on bangs. She looked up to see that her snowy tuft of a mane had begun to frizz in the heat. Daeze let out a small whimper at the sight of her abused hair and promptly said, “Yes, I should probably take care of my bangs.”, quickly lowering her head to the water to give it a quick wash before styling it.

Raza dipped her paw into the pool and carefully wet down her bangs, making sure that each hair was in the proper place before adding more water. She glanced over to check on Daeze's progress. They were both going to look much better after a little treatment. She was glad for that, for both of their sakes.
She gave a sigh- "I can't believe the nerve of that guy, even still! What a complete jerk." She said to Daeze as if he'd come and nommed on her tail too. As it was, she was quite content that they wouldn't be seeing him around here. "About time for some herbs, don't you think?" Raza said happily. "I'll look over there," she said, pointing off maybe 10 feet from the pool in the opposite direction of Hermes. "Sound good? I'll let you know if I find anything that smells nice."

After thoroughly washing her bangs, thankfully getting all of the random dust and bits of plant that had randomly found their way into her hair, she was more than eager to search for some fragrant herbs or flowers. “Yes, yes! Sounds good!”, she said eagerly, bouncing slightly.
She was like a kid in a candy shop. There were so many colorful, bright plants, it would be difficult for her not to find the right plant. Doing as her mother said, she went where she was directed. Into a rather thick bushel of beautiful plants. Bending down, she sniffed each on individually, all of them strongly fragrant. But they were not exactly what she was looking for. Going slightly deeper into the dense plants, she looked to see a small pink flower. Kneeling down once more, she took a deep whiff of it. Perfect. Sweet and delicate, but still noticeable. She searched more around that area, trying to find a greater source of her new favorite dainty pink flower.

Barazahi already had some personal favorites in mind when she went off gathering. One particular plant made your fur particularly shiny and smooth if you crushed it up and used the juices, she'd found... She searched for that in particular, along with some of the flowers that she found best-smelling. Making a small pile for later not too far away, the lioness continued gathering until she thought she had enough and tried to gather it all in her mouth to get it over to the pool.
