If you play B.C, the notes in music are EXACTLY the same. I can play off of trombone music if I wanted to. And the note fingerings are easy, even I'm still learning some. You just have to write the valve combos in on those notes you can't remember and it'll soon come as second nature.
Also from what I've experienced, the Baritone/Euph plays way smoother than a trombone, so you'll like the sound you get. =0
But just remember the basic stuff that everyone who plays low brass knows; keep your jaws open so your teeth don't block your air, etc etc.
