Seaki Nafsi yawned. The day was hot and overbearing, but she wished to walk. Her paws carried her along the same path where she saw the little purple cub that came to her tree den before he met Mauja.
A frown crossed her face. She hoped the cub was alright, and she let her body carry forward, following a sand and grass-ridden path towards the 'home' of Mashaka. Her green eyes slightly darkened and she lapped at the air to taste for any other lions in the area.
There were many. She scowled. She didn't like most male lions, but that was alright. Her mate wasn't a lion - he was feline, but not lion. She only ever liked Mito and Fasa being closet to her.
She paused and thought fondly of Fasa. He was sweet, really, becoming an Uncle to her cubs and helping her manage the current eight. Nafsi continued her treck. She needed to find this Lioness and Lion that the young purple cub spoke of - his parents.
Just to see if he was fine.

Yin-Bug Nazih was send out to find some new bedding to go into the den. He wasn't that sure why he had to go out but whatever he was find with it. He loved his cubs so much but he was glad to have wandered away for a bit the den was crazy right now. Sadiki was coming home with a meal, and they were all moving around in the den.
He was pretty confident with leaving them by themselves for a bit. Neph was a tattle-tale and liked to say when others disappeared. He wasn't that far, and on top of that they would never leave the den around this time. Not when dinner was on his way. They would never think about leaving then, they'd be crazy if they did.
He lifted his head as he looked around, wondering where was the tree that they used normally for bedding. They were normally easy to find but for right now they were being very difficult to him. It frustrated him a bit.
As he rouned another corner he caught the scent of another. He blinked for a moment before moving forward a little more. He hadn't seen that many others around here. He wanted to make sure that it was safe for the rest of his family.
"Hello?" He called out.

Seaki The female lion shiverede a bit when the male came in to view. She was frightened, but she knew Mauja wouldn't come with her. The male absolutely HATED lions except the two - Herself and Fasa. "Hello," She replied gracefully. She had been teaching herself while reaching her cubs, but she didn't feel the need to show respect to a male of all.
She pushe daway the fear - her cubs were close after all, but he couldn't know that. Mashaka was close to here, too.
"May I have your name?" She asked. She was not prepared to come across the male. Maybe the lion was Mashaka's father... Green eyes squinted at the grey lion, but it definately wasn't a glare - just an analyzation, like she would stare at one of her specimin before she would torture them and listen to their screams.

Nazih looked at the female, he could see the fright in the female's eyes and stance. He was a little confused at why. He didn't know what was the female's problem but he didn't want to make her attack him out of fear, and he didn't want her to get any closer to his family. He was just protective like that. He was surprised to see some one out here in the first place. They really never had any visitors.
"Ah, my name is Nazih'Matata. If you don't mind me asking what is yours?" He blinked a bit at her look. It wasn't something he expected he wasn't that sure if it was friendly or not. The most he could do it sit there and make himself look like he was unphased by what ever was going on in this female's head. He kept himself alert however but relaxed and friendly.

The small lioness' eyes twinkled with something odd, for her anyways. The sparkle indicated confusion - she hated being confused. She almost growned in response to her addled brain and stared at the lion a bit longer.
"I'm called Nafsiumiza," she gave a slight nid of her head, as was custom in her own pride. However, in her old pride, it was one of respect, not the normal of a submissive woman. She took a step back, however, when the male sat. She was unsure of this. She hadn't come agross many friendly liones at all.
"Ah, um..." She stumbled over the words. "Have you seen a purple cub, perhaps?" She questioned after sitting.

Nazih chuckled slightly before nodding toward her and smiling softly at her before flicking his hair out of her eyes and nodding. "It is nice to meet you Nafsiumiza." He nodded before looking at the lioness and nodding. "Of course I've seen a purple cub." He chuckled slightly as he smiled at her. "My son is the only purple cub around here." He flashed a grin before yawning slightly.
"Has he been getting into trouble?" He chuckled slightly, he knew some of his cubs like to wander around and get into some trouble.

Nafsi paused, she didn't respond to the pleasantries, still afraid lightly of the male lion. But, ah, Mashaka was his son. How odd for a gray male to have a purple son. "Oh, is he? I was actually worried about him. I haven't seen him in a while." The tan female gave a frown, shifting slightly.
"He usually comes 'round and chats with me for a bit, you see?" She explained, eyes flashing a bit. "But not lately. Has anything been..."
She paused, shaking her head, looking at the male with a frown on her maw. "Has anything been troubling him lately?" she wondered allowed. He had come to her with some of his troubles, but she was curious if he voiced it to his father.
It broke her to see a cub dislike his family, and she hoped all of her family would love her as much as she loved them.

Nazih looked at the female before nodding toward her with a smile on his face still. He had always been a friendly lion, all growing up he was. He was glad to be friendly, he would never treat some one badly. He even had a hard time disciplining his children, they really, really had to have done something bad for him to get mad and even for him to say 'sit in the corner'. He was a pretty laid back parent.
"Really?" He blinked a bit, he was surprised to hear that his cubs weren't starting that much trouble. But then again he really was some what worried that his son was talking to older lions that he didn't know. He didn't like it much. He let out a sigh before nodding toward the female. "I hope he isn't too much trouble." He then looked at the female again and nodded. "I've been talking to him a lot lately. He said he's been upset because I don't spend a lot of time with him but I'm trying my hardest and he misses his mother...." He let out a quiet laugh and his voice trailed. That always hurt so much he could feel it swell up in him once more. He remembered their mother but he didn't feel right with her. It was so hard to explain to the cubs.
"I'm hoping that he will be getting better soon. I feel like everytime I make him feel better it doesn't like all but two seconds." He looked at the female. "I don't want to bother you with my story. If you want I can tell him that you were around, he'll probably start stopping by again."

The male seemed friendly enough, but could she really trust a male lion? They were tricky, but he didn't seem insincere with his smile, and his friendliness. Nafsi only could blink a bit when his first question came about - a small really?
"He's no trouble at all. I have children his age, and he seemed lonely when I was going out for a walk." She told him. "I thought he was alone, with no parents, so I called him over," she said with a frown. "I hope he won't be in trouble for coming to speak with me."
She gave a small smile. "I see," she offered. She knew how that was. her children often missed their father who was gone a majority of their life so far. "I can understand that. He must feel quite abandon," she told him. "I'm sure its not a fault on your part..." A smile tugged on her lips, and she looked down.
She was too trusting, she thought, but it was so long since she talked to an adult at all, with her mate gone so often. "I would like that, if you would. I just wanted to make sure nothing bad had happened to him.
