Sorry if this is in the wrong section. sweatdrop

Anyways, I'm wondering if I should bother asking my doctor about birth control. I'm not sexually active, but I tend to have terrible periods. It's not that they're necessarily heavy (although they are heavier than some girls' are), they're just irregular with nasty cramps and nausea. It's interfering with my schoolwork because pain relievers don't always dull it, so I can't concentrate.
Should I or shouldn't I? And if not, what should I use to help the pain?

I'd definitely talk to your doctor or a gyno about starting BC. It'll regulate you, then calm the symptoms that seem pretty painful.

If Midol isn't working for you, yes, I would recommend asking about birth control. You have nothing to lose by just asking for your doctor's opinion and hearing more about what birth control may or may not do for you. 3nodding
