HISTORY
Pip's parents did not really know what Pip enjoyed so they kept throwing stuff at him to try out until finally one day, a book with a certain character kept his attention. Pip still has this book and carries it around with him everywhere, as if it was his Bible.
Pip was sent to boarding school because his parents did not want to deal with him finding mysteries and stuff and wrecking the house. He kept searching under flower pots (in which his mom is totally obsessed about) and furniture (in which his dad did not enjoy) and therefore his rich parents decided he would learn more and enjoy the world by doing so.
Pip actually has older siblings! He is the youngest of the four. All were sent to boarding school and some point of their lives. They tend to stay away from him though, being the ~*~*mature*~*~* ones. All three of them found him to be rather annoying and childish. Oh except one of his sisters, who simply tolerated him--and at one time, even let him use her room as a crime scene! (Imaginary, of course.)
Even when he was younger, Pip was found to be alone with his books, talking to himself and a, presumably, Watson by his side. Not that there ever was anyone (UNTIL HE MET SIMON,LOL) even attempting to recreate scenes at some points.
Upon entering boarding school, he thought that it'd be the best opportunity to find himself a Watson! But the process didn't come easily. He tried auditions (secret ones, since he didn't want Miss Pinkie to come by), but no one was right--and some weren't even serious about it! He was appalled.
And then fate threw Simon at him.

PERSONALITY
Pip's role model is Sherlock Holmes! He enjoys running around "solving mysteries" when he finds stuff on the ground or when he sees someone crying. Therefore, people usually see him running around as if he's frantically looking for a lost puppy of some sort! Which, y'know, he kinda is.
Pip gets excited really easily and enjoys discovering new things--especially things that will aid him in his solving-mysteries business. He likes to collect things, even if they don't really have any sort of purpose no explicit use. He has a trunk in his room full of said potential evidence, and secretly, he likes to pick up things in hopes that someone will ask him if they've seen it (the initiation of a case!)
Pip refers to his Sherlock Holmes books for guidance. He utilizes the techniques in the book as often as he can and takes the procedures very seriously. Pip's parents did not really know what Pip enjoyed so they kept throwing stuff at him to try out until finally one day, a book with a certain character kept his attention. Pip still has this book and carries it around with him everywhere, as if it was his Bible.
Pip is more than willing to help anyone in need anytime even if the person refuses his help. He's determined to solve mysteries, and it doesn't matter if the person is willing or not!
Pip likes to be flashy and sometimes...exaggerates the intensity of some crimes/cases. But, once again, everything must be looked at with a detective's eye! AND THAT MEANS SERIOUS BUSINESS...
Pip's always the leader. He doesn't really like listening to rules (nor does he really care when he's breaking them, and does things unconventionally. He has good intentions, though, and once again, is willing to do whatever it takes to get things done.
Pip's also stubborn!
He secretly likes elephants and whales...and fluffy stuff.
