Route 3 is a rugged mountain road located in northwest Kanto. Its western terminus is at Pewter City and its eastern terminus is at the western foot of Mt. Moon.
Route 4 is a short path in north Kanto from the eastern exit of Mt. Moon in the west to Cerulean City in the east. Though the official western terminus of Route 4 is at Route 3 south of Mt. Moon's western entrance, the western terminus is regarded by most to be Mt. Moon's eastern entrance.

Pidgey squawked in response and whipped up gust, it hit Psy, but Psy easily shook it off, the injured wing had tried to whip up the gust, but didn't succeed.

"Show it your psychic abilities!" Alexander commanded, though his battle was intense he felt like something was missing, he didn't feel quite as confident. He was of course always confident in himself, but for some reason he didn't feel like he was doing 100%. Psy uesed confusion and slammed the pidgey into a tree, Pidgey slowly got up.

Alexander had finally made it to the entrance of the cave...a trainer blocked the front of the cave, it was a little girl, she was about Alexander's age and she wouldn't let him get any closer to the cave.

"Don't you get any closer to here you meanie!" The girl had a determined look on her face. "I saw what you did to that pidgey and I''m not letting you in here to hurt other innocent pokemon!"

Alexander glared at the little girl, she obviously didn't know how powerful he was. He simply gave his signature smirk and walked up to her and stopped right in front of her. She still spread her arms to block his path, but he continued walking and bumped his shoulder into hers and she fell backwards. She hit the ground with a thud and started crying. She covered her face.

"WAAAH! I just thought you were cute and didn't want you to get hurt ni there by those big scary pokemon! You didn't have to be so meeean!"

Alexander helped her up and wiped a tear out of her eye. She sniveled and looked up at him, then turned red and looked away. "Gosh...you're hands are so strong..."she got closer to him and leaned in to kiss him. She put her hands on his side and leaned forward. His finger pushed against her lips.

"You must have mistakened me for the kind of person who was gullible. Now give me back my pokemon." The girl's eyes widened, but she turned away. "I have no idea what you mean. I was trying to be nice to you because you're quite attractive..HEY! LET GO OF ME!" Alexander grabbed her and reached into her back pocket, he took out a pokeball and let Kong out of it. He knew the girl was up to something the moment she showed weakness.

"Now little girl, if you leave me alone, I won't have Kong throw you halfway to Saffron." Alexander smirked.

She turned red and scowled at him, "I'm telling the police what you did! They won't take kindly to you pushing me like that! That's abuse! And putting your hands in my back pocket is sexual harassment!"

Alexander winced. He knew he couldn't let the police department find out where he was. "Just tell me what you want." He said.

She smiled up at him. "I'd like all of the pokeballs on you, all the money you have, and maybeee....your Mankey!" She grinned.

"Kong! Use Cross chop!" The multiple Mankeys charged Raticate and struck it with cross chop all in unison. Raticate flew backwards, but it could tell by the power which one was real. It swung its tail at all the fakes and they disappeared. Kong jumped over Raticate's tail and landed on it with a low kick. Raticate flew backwards and landed on top of its "trainer."

"Return Kong." Alexander let Kong back into the pokeball and threw another. Psy emerged and raised its claws. "Go get them Psy."

The girl smiled, she knew all of this pokemon's moves. "Come on out! SNEASEL!" The sneasel came out and struck Psy with beat up. With the power of 20 pokemon, it slammed into Psy repeatedly. "PSY! DISABLE!"

The Sneasel didn't let up at all, psychic attacks were not effective agiainst dark pokemon, and it was too fast to be hit with a physical attack. Psy immediately fell backwards and fainted. "HUH?"

The girl smiled. "Your pokemon was tired from the last battle, and this is one of the strongest pokemon I've obtained so far."

Both trainers withdrew their pokemon. They looked in eachother's eyes intently. Alexander threw his pokeball, releasing Fang. "FANG! Let's show em!" Fang came out with a burning intensity in his eyes.

The girl's face lit up. "AWWW! A GROWLITHE!" She ran up to it to hug it, but Fang bit her arm and drew blood. "Owwww!"

She sent out her best pokemon. "COME ON OUT TEDDY!" An ursaring emerged and it stared down Fang. It was the biggest pokemon he'd seen yet. It towered over Alexander and Fang, Fang didn't take a step back, he merely placed one foot forward and bared his teeth.

"TEDDY! Thunderpunch!" Ursaring pulled back its arm and it started teeming with static. The pnch came flying at fang at immense speeds. Fang had no time to move out of the way. He flew back, but landed on his feet.

"Fang, get ready to dodge!" Alexander's eyes widened...he looked down. Dodge...he thought, he looked up and grew angry. "faNG!" He screamed. Even Fang was startled, and Alexander always used to yell at him. But at the same time, Alexander's adrenaline fueled Fang. "USE OUR PATENTED COMBINATION AND END THIS!"

Fang ran at Ursaring with agility, then propelled itself into the air with fireblast and engulfed itself in flames. Then he used take down and slammed into Ursaring's stomach. Ursaring flew back and slammed to the ground, it couldn't move. (45 exp for Fang, Fang grew to level 7)


Alexander fell to his knees and slammed his fist into a rock nearby, the rock was cracked, but Alexander's scraped knuckles were now dripping with blood. A nearby flock of golbat from the cave got the scent and flew towards Alexander hungrily.

The girl withdrew Ursaring and looked over at Alexander. "Congratulations you won. It was just a fluke though. I won't let this go." She walked away leaving Alexander on his knees, blood rushing from his knuckles. The golbat swarm moved closer to him, but he didn't seem to care. Fang bit Kong's pokeball and let him out. Fang used fire blast to fend off the swarm while Kong used double team to distract them. The two fought off the swarm, but since they didn't KO any of the Golbat, they didn't gain exp. They walked over to their fallen trainer and comforted him.

Alexander had made it through the dark tunnels, running into several pokemon, but being forced to elude them since his pokemon were weak from their battles. He saw a light at the end of the tunnel. He walked out and saw three clefairy dancing around a rock in the middle of the field. The clefairy heard him approach and fled in fear. Alexander approached the rock and felt it, it was quite warm. His pokemon approached it as well and then started glowing. Fang howled in pleasure and Kong glowed as well. The two seemed to be fully restored. Alexander sent out Psy and he to was fully healed. Psy felt great, but Alexander was curious about what this stone was. Psy tried to channel its energy through his psychic energy, and it appeared to be from somewhere else in the galaxy.

Fang fell to the ground and struggled to get up. He used take down again, but clefairy dodged and fang crashed into the wall. Clefairy used double-edge, knocking Fang into a wall in the cave, but since the clefairy's HP was full, it didn't do a lot of damage. Fang used the momentum to bounce off of the wall and springboard off to use fire blast and takedown at the same time.

"FINISH IT!" Fang used bite and blood seeped from the clefairy's skin. Clefairy fainted, but Fang kept biting.

"FANG! STOP!" Fang turned around and returned to his trainer's side. (Fang gains 45 exp)
