Viridion City is a small city located in western Kanto. Three paths, all major, lead from the city center. To the north is Route 2, as well as Viridian Forest, which lies in the middle of Route 2 south of Pewter City. To the south is Route 1, which leads to Pallet Town. To the west is Route 22, leading to the Indigo Plateau and the Pokémon League.
Pokémon Academy
A Pokémon academy is a school where students and Trainers can learn more about Pokémon. Most beginning trainers visit at least one of them, and common trainers who study extensively at these locations are Lasses, School Kids, and Scientists.
Viridian Gym
Viridian Gym in FireRed and LeafGreenThe Viridian Gym is the official gym of Viridian City. It is based on Ground-type Pokémon.

Arriving back in town, Phobos headed to the Pokemon Center. When they arrived, nurse Joy smilled, Saying to Phobos after she had treated Larvitar and Weedle "I see little injuries like this all the time. The Weedles in the forest are quite the devious little bugs. Though the damage their stingers do is very minimal, it's always important to bring your Pokemon here after they get stung, because a poisoning could become serious fast." Phobos nodded, giving a small smile as she headed out "Thank you Nurse Joy!" she said. With that done, Phobos headed back to the forest, on her way to Pewter City.

Ryu's alarm clock rang loudly as he fell out of bed and lifted his hand onto his night stand moving it from left to right until his hand finally tapped the snooze button. He stood up and stretched and yawned as he saw the pokeball on the stand which made him very excited since today was the day he would begin his journey. About a hour later, Ryu was all set and ready as he grabbed his pokeball containing his new friend, Gastly, and dashed outside."Hmm... where shall we begin our journey. I know, we'll go to the viridian forest and get some training in." Ryu said with a smile as he was now walking towards the Viridian Forest.

Phobos returned to the city, taking a deep breath of fresh air after the misty air of Cerulean, the dusty air in Pewter, and the heavy, dry air in Viridian. The air here, where her home is, was fresh, and a relief. She shrugged at what Alexander had said and proceeded through the door. Like how she was raised, Phobos left her shoes at the front door, as to not track mud through the house. She looked around, examining the house, and she was surprised she had never met Alexander before, as they did live in the same city.

Alexander looked at Phobos and saw her nostalgic expression. "You didn't...grow up here did you?" Alexander hoped Phobos didn't go to school here as a child, that might be slightly embarassing and hard to explain if she had. Alexander quickly looked away and his attention was drawn to all of his sister's trophies for competitive battling.

Phobos turned to Alexander, looking at him questionably. She answered him "Well, yes, I grew up here." Though she had said that, Phobos was still only a young girl, and the fact was, she had no idea of Alexander's criminal past, or that he lived here, until now of course. She took a step tword him "Why do you ask?"

Alexander looked down and frowned to himself. "I just...wondered why I haven't seen you around the city before." Alexander bit his lip and stared again at his sister's awards with envy. She'd been training pokemon since she was his age, but now she was 23 and her pokemon were extremely powerful. Alexander's hand ran across one of the old photos and looked down at his pokeballs. Someday he would beat his sister in a battle...He just knew it.

Dodge walked in, a bit late. She glared at Alexander, and turned towards Phobos. "Phobos, can I talk to Alexander. Alone?" She leaned against the wall, trying not to cry.
((I forgot, my boyfriend and I are back together biggrin Meez so happy!))

Alexander studied Dodge's expression and became slightly worried. Dodge looked like she was about to cry. "Sorrry Phobos, I hope you don't mind if Dodge and I talk alone do you?" Alexander's expression was serious. He'd never really seen Dodge like this before.

Phobos could see that there was a certain uneasiness. She walked off into the other room, which lead to a bathroom. She walked in, trying to pass the time. She washed her face, found a brush and brushed her hair, and basically made sure she didn't hear anything from the other room.

Alexander watched as Phobos left the room, he would try to remember to thank her later for being so courteous, after all...he was supposed to be a host. He looked back at Dodge with a puzzled expression and tilted his head. "Is something wrong Dodge? You don't look so great."

She gently crossed her arms and bit onto her lip. "I-I" She sobbed. " My dad wants me to go back home." She wiped one of her tears. "He found out about my coughs, and he said I am not allowed to go further into my adventure. I-I will never be the best..." She said.

Alexander winced, but quickly recovered his serious expression. He shook his head and took a deep breath. "But...you can't go back now. You've been extremely successful as of late...and your coughs haven't been all that bad have they? Can't we do something about your coughs" Alexander grew worried. He didn't know when he'd see Dodge again.
