Dewpaw decided that walking to the waterfall would be the best route, although not the funnest. She wanted to climb into the trees and travel that way, but she didn't know how good Doehart was in the trees. She knew she didn't want to risk leaving the elfess behind, since the elfess wasn't used to other elves. It might get taken as a dismissal.
So, Dewpaw walked until she saw the pool. *Anyone out for a swim? We got a new friend.* the send was open to anyone in the vacinity, as Dew didn't quite know who was around yet. The salt in the air still bugged her nose, and she was still caught up on the scent of the new elf to notice the scents of the more familiar ones.
Morningtail was already laying down near the pool, his tail dipped in the water as he rested.

Llune is relaxing by the edge of the pool with her feet in the water, and her skirt pulled scandalously up past her knees. The ancient elfess is reclining lazily against a rock that Autumn had a hand in ensuring was comfortable for just that. In fact, in the shade and spotty sunshine afforded by the trees around the water's edge, Llune has been snoozing for long enough that her toes have wrinkled into pink raisins. At Dewpaw's send she is only partially pulled from her sleep. "Hurmmph?" she mumbles, not yet awake enough to open her eyes.

Dewpaw tested the breeze, becming exctied when she picked up the familiar scent of the glider mother. *Llune* she sent, her excitement brushing Llune's mind with her words *We have a new packmate.*. As Dew broke through the trees she saw the glider by the pool. Her eyes quickly scanned for others, but all she saw was Llune and Morningtail.
Morningtail looked up, glancing at Dew and Doehart. He gave a little snort and rested his head on his paws once more.

**Wonderful news,** came a send from above, the sharpness of a hawk drifting on the breeze. Savith had been near by, just close enough to catch Dew's open send. The remark of a new friend drew the glider, in what was left of the elegant, skin-tight uniform that marked Winnowill's Chosen. His mind lowered him from treetop to sand, eyes on the pair coming near. **Welcome, cousin. I am Savith,** he stated, standing at the High One's height of nearly six feet.

Doeheart peered shly from behind Dewpaw at the flying elf. Absent mindly she chewed on her lip.
"It flys?" she said to herself, as she struggled to keep composure. Two elfs vastly older then any other she had seen. She felt so quickly humbled by the age and grace... not to mention the power of these new elfs.
Doeheart then realized that she was staring, wide eyed like a catfish. She lowered her eyes respectfully.
**I am Doeheart, and My wolf friend....**
Doeheart searched around, only to find muddy paw prints and no pup to be found.
**I dont know where Leaf went** she said exasperated.

Dew waved her hand absently, *Leaf is probably bugging Morningtail again. My stubborn wolfmate needs a good bite on the tail.* Dew was excited that she was getting to introduce the new elfess. * Savith is our cheif. He's a glider, like Llune. Thats why he can fly. But be careful. He sometimes likes to make you fly too without telling you.* The last bit of the send had an accusatory but playful tone directed at Savith.

The very idea of her feet leaving the ground left Doeheart blushing. Her, Flying like a bird, or rather a clumsy baby bird. Oh how absurd. But how graceful Savith seemed to do it, like he was pinned to a breeze.
Doeheart tried to ignore the blush that creeped up her face as she searched for Leaf. She found him near the waters edge, slightly apart from the larger Morningtail. His head slowly weaving back and forth.
What an odd behavior, a fish perhaps?
Doeheart left Dewpaw's side to investigate.
As predicted, several tiny fish danced in the waters as Leaf watched. Their silver scales weaving an intoxicating rhyme that hypnotized Doeheart.
At once, she had forgotten the adventure of new elfs, and lost herself in the scent of mud, the dancing of fishes and the slightly cooled breeze.

A fine, auburn brow quirked at Dewpaw's accusation, but no rebuttal did the glider make. Instead, Savith merely peered at the cublings, as if his demeanor itself would cast doubt on the fact that he would ever do anything so remotely playful. As Doehart moved away, distracted, the glider careful suppressed the grin that threatened to flit its way across his features, but failed to prevent it from making his eyes dance. The sparkle, however, might seem malicious in nature, given the stoic nature of the rest of him. Indeed, even the send that wafts from his mind, made cold to prevent humor from tainting it at the moment, seemed to darken that humorous glint. ** You are welcomed, then, little one. I trust Dewpaw's informed you of the only rule regarding bonded animals among us, given that so many are predators and rarely are they made to work together?**

Dewpaw just looked up at Savith and shrugged before moving over to Mroningtail. *We didn't get that far. 'Sides, that little pup ain't gonna be much of a threat to any of the other bonds. And Morningtail can take care of him. Ain't that right?* the send had the same happy-go-lucky tone it always did with little cub. The last bit of the send was directed at Morningtail, who simply looked up at Dew and gave a low playful growl as if telling her he wouldn't be happy if the little pup started following him around. Dew grinned, "Its okay" she said aloud this time, "You're still the alpha male out of you two...although, I think Starsong's bond could take you." She absently scrathed behind his ear as she watched the others, waiting for something to happen.

The speech and sends seemed to weave themselves in Llune's dream, keeping her in a semi-conscious state somewhere between awake and asleep. With her eyes still closed she murmurs gently, in a sleepy, motherly tone, "Mm-hmm. Lovely to meet you merrrmaphhgmgah ZZZzzzzzz..." Her soft snores blend with the lapping of the water in the pool and the shuffle of leaves. "Ohhh. MMmmmmm. Cookies..." she murmers between snores. Yep. This is a pretty serious nap she's taking, dreaming about cookies. Someone would likely have to poke her physically, do something pretty loud, or send-poke her with a bit of mental force.
