If posting this here is at all disallowed, please let me know and you can delete it or have me delete it immediately. I was wondering, since I didn't see any suggestions section of the guild, if firstly we should start one - it's always great to have - and secondly, if I could make a suggestion myself.
This guild has been around for awhile, I know, and I'm sure many of the roleplay threads are either done with or died or whatever. I was wondering if roleplay topics were routinely cleaned out or moved once they became inactive for a long period of time, to keep things organized, or if they were just continued whenever. The reason I asked is because the better organized it is, the more likely people are going to want to jump in. New threads could be started to create a new start, since I know the guild had re-opened awhile back and I'm not sure if threads from before that point had been deleted or not.
Also, maybe a thread stating where people are currently roleplaying so people can check it out, and see where everyone is at?

3nodding Most of the old threads have already been all moved to the subforum labeled "archives". Trust me, we've been doing a LOT of moving. The only thing I haven't cleaned out is the Library. I should, though.
And as to where the people are, they can be roleplaying in several different places at once, as long as they realize they're not using timeturners, so one class has to have preceded the other (and they can't all be.. early morning, for instance) As to where they stand in the roleplay, what plots have happened, maybe that /would/ work splendidly in a multi-tasking roleplay like this one.

I think it would because if someone came online and posted in the thread saying "Hey! I'm here at ____ thread, come roleplay with me!" and other people are online and see that, they could go there, so that's sort of what I meant for the thread thing, since we might not always know whose online and it can help have an ongoing roleplay at any given time.
I understand what you mean about roleplaying in different places at once, so that's great biggrin It helps keep things interesting because if others AREN'T on and you want to roleplay, it sucks to have to wait for one to finish to do the other. Especially if others involved can't be on for a set amount of time or something.

Exactly. But to my deepest regret I have to admit school got the better of this guild again. Basically everybody has cut down their posting to once a week instead of daily.. Some disappeared completely. I do hope that's just the initial back-to-school shock..

It does happen. You need to focus your advertising during the school year more so to get people who can come on still during school or before/after. It could just be the initial shock though, not because it's hard or anything but because everyone always starts out saying they'll do better this year so they'll focus more, and then gradually that dies down to just doing good but not going crazy x3
School IS important, I understand that, but it shouldn't be hard for people to come on you know? That's something I've never ever understood. Even to just check in really quick. I myself am online waaaaay more than I should be razz

I'm really thinking that a board for people to post on saying where they're roleplaying while they're online would be helpful, now more than ever. I haven't really gotten the chance to roleplay at all since I've joined, I've just been bumping. I know the guild is going through a small rough patch because of school starting, so I think if we had a place where we could check to easily see whose online and where they're roleplaying, it would be better to have a more enjoyable roleplaying experience where you could have a few posts go back and forth, rather than waiting a day or more for a response. Otherwise, it makes for dull roleplay and is kinda hard to jump in. It might just be me, but I have a feeling a lot of people who come online a lot but don't post, might not for that reason.
And if it's just because it's slow, we need to work at some creative recruiting ideas to get things rolling again so it doesn't become dull.
