I have this theorem that the sexual taste of a woman while pregnant changes drastically. It is said to increase greatly or become nonexistent. Is this true? Can I get any settlement on this? Anything you got, experiences, axioms, whatever.

I heard something kind of like that. I hear that a woman gets more horny while pregnant, though I don't know why. This could also mean she wants different things with sex...different tastes. I hope this helps.

Please don't bump. Even if yours isn't the very top one people will still see it and respond. Also this is a guild so it moves slower then the forums so you just need to be patient. I haven't been pregnant so I can't help any.

FanMan I have this theorem that the sexual taste of a woman while pregnant changes drastically. It is said to increase greatly or become nonexistent. Is this true? Can I get any settlement on this? Anything you got, experiences, axioms, whatever. In my case it is true when I was pregnant with my son I was attacking my husband almost 3 times a day (He sometimes jokes he wants to have another baby for no other reason) I have seen the other side too, a friend of mine didnt even want to be touched intimately when she was pregnant.

This is very interesting. Do anyone of you know a girl presently expecting or who was just recently pregnant who may give a more thorough and exact explanation?

at first in my pregnancy i attacked my boyfriend and we went at it atleast 2 or 3 times a day...but then toward the end it was more like once a week...
they say since there is more blood flow down around that area that it makes things feel better *shrugs*

If you pick up any pregnancy book like What to Expect When You're Expecting, they actually cover this topic a bit. Some women feel more aroused during pregnancy, others don't and it changes at different times due to hormones. Some of it during second and third trimester is also due to increased blood flow. But it's completely unique from woman to woman and for each pregnancy.

FanMan This is very interesting. Do anyone of you know a girl presently expecting or who was just recently pregnant who may give a more thorough and exact explanation? I am presently expecting. What do you mean more thorough and exact? Some women experience heightened sexual appetite (sometimes solely due to the fact that birth control is not an issue). Some women experience lowered sexual appetite, which is understandable, considering the drive for sex is linked directly in an evolutionary way to acheiving pregnancy. Some women experience heightened sexual appetite but fatigue, pain and nausea that makes them both want to have sex but then want to sleep and sometimes sleep wins out. OH and Some women experience no difference at all. Welcome to the wonderful world of pregnancy where a woman may experience some, none, or all of the symptoms some, none, or all of the time. It's not exact. Ever.

I've never been pregnant, but I have had a few periods. I always get far more sexually aroused around my menstrual week and then I am, as my fiance so nicely puts it, a "dead fish" the rest of the time, lol.
On the other side of that, I have quite a few friends who are the exact opposite. They hate even the thought of being touched while having their period.
It's all in the hormones. They are all flitting around, acting crazy. How a woman's body reacts to that will be different for everyone. And, as someone else has already mentioned, many women simply don't react at all.

Well, there is no set answer as you know now.. but mine went something like this if you are curious:
1st trimester: No desire at all. Too tired and sick. 2nd trimester: Abnormal (for me) desire. Nearly 24 hours a day. Totally ignored any fatigue or sickness. It almost felt on the level of cravings. 3rd trimester: Sexual desire back to normal. As in pre pregnancy normal. Very warm/loving feelings toward my (now) husband though. Er, not that I don't always love him.. but these were different. Like the nesting instinct is different to just cleaning up.
Kukushka, I get the same way toward the end of period as well. For a bit afterwards too.

Yes. Pregnant women's hormones are responsible for high surges and low ebbs of all emotions and sexual urges, which may go to record levels in both high and low directions. It's been proven, it's not just a theory. It's been known for many, many years. Scientifically proven fact. It continues long after giving birth as well; you may have heard of post-partum depression.

I may or may not be pregnant (probably not), but lately, even before I discovered I could be, I've been getting wet for no reason. I would think it was my period and it wasn't, I was just extremely lubricated for no reason. Not even horny. But now the horniness is CONSTANT. I've been 'attacking' my fiance as well.
Which also makes me wonder if I really am. >_>. Could just be my head messing with me though.
