Aidan was wandering on neutral territory between the University and his own Plaza. He had decided that just maybe he had spent far too much time working on defenses to his territory that he had forgot he needed new recruits. OH how lovely, he had to sit out in the sun and tell several cats what its like being in the territory. No wonder Hikari had pinned this on him, it was horribly boring. No one came here really, unless they were walking to his own territory. But he had to ‘make an impression’ oh how he was starting to hate the word impression.
It seemed whenever he was right he was wrong and if something went wrong because he was right he was to blame. You have to love how women switch the game on you and play with your mind. Sighing heavily he sat on the brick wall and flipped himself backwards, so that all the blood would rush to his head as he looked out over the vast emptiness, for that’s all the muscular red head could make out in the distance, ugly, empty, and bleak road. Closing his eyes and willing himself to sleep, he knew deep down something or someone would disturb his peace, they always did.

Ashton dashed down the alleyway, bee lining towards the chain link fence. If he didn’t keep up his pace that mangy mutt he ran into outside the stupid corner store. It was like this all the time, the same dingy rotten mutt would chase him if they crossed paths. The matt had ruined a few good shirts of his and he had half a mind to knock him one with his cat teaser, but the mutt was bigger then him so running was always the best option.
“s**t…” He cursed as he looked over his shoulder and saw the mutt gaining on him. Looking back ahead of himself, he spotted the Fence and quickly made a mad dash for it. Again he was thankful that dogs didn’t have opposable thumbs, so there was no coming after him now. Climbing to the creaky top, he balanced as best as he could on the top.
“Ha! Stupid Smelly mutt!” Ashton called down to it, grinning all the while. But much to his surprise, the dog backed up a little then rammed itself into the chain link fence. Thus it caused him to lose his balance and fall back off the fence and into the trash cans bellow with a thundering clash and bang.

Aidan grunted when he heard the crash. It would figure, another damn day when he would have to investigate to make sure none of the miscreants that lived in his territory hasn’t disturbed the peace. He sat up in a sitting position getting to his feet. The Siberian walked along, until he saw the idiot dog that had given his people quite a scare…before Aidan had shot it with a poisoned needle.
“ ‘ey who goes there?!” he growled at the being on the other side of the fence. The dog took one look at him and whimpered running off and away from the male that had appeared. Aidan easily jumped the fence, after doing it so many times chasing the rouges that still plagued his territory. When he made out the younger cat deep within the trashcan he grunted and rolled his eyes offering a hand to the other cat. “here, lets go get something to drink, it helps get the edge off.”

While stuck in the garbage can, Ashton groaned softly as he moved to get himself out. He paused however when he heard the dog whimper and run off after a voice spoke. Faintly wondering who it could be, he rubbed the back of his head and could feel a slight bump there. Nice, damn mutt.
Looking up at the voice, he narrowed his eyes when the other cat rolled his and offered him a hand. He was half tempted to tell him to shove it, but how else was he going to get out. Taking the others hand with his slightly smaller one, he crawled out of the can.
”Thanks…” he grumbled a little and picked the garbage and what not off of himself. Checking his cat teaser, he sighed a little seeing there was no damage to it. Strapping it back onto his back, he looked at the other. “Drinks? Sure I guess….” He murmured, rubbing his now sore neck.

Aidan rolled his eyes, it was one of those types, he could just feel it. One of the stubborn types that pretended to be badass because of some problem they had in the past or something. The Siberian shrugged, it wasn’t like he cared, and anyway… he was bored out of his mind. Without looking back he took off in the direction of the sake bar, only waiting a few moments on the other side of the corner before taking off again. After a series of these pauses he stood in front of the oldest bar on this side of Ink,
“Well this is it.” He called before opening the door and heading over to the revolving sushi bar, ordering some fish and two sake. “What were you doing out there anyway? Pardon me for saying you don’t look like the kind that gets along with dogs well.” Aidan smirked, running a hand through his bright red hair and flicking out pieces of leaves. The air was crisp outside, and inside it was warm and inviting, not like that time of year when leaves were falling and it was getting cold… something he didn’t like much.

Stuffing his hands into his pockets, Ashton wordlessly followed the other cat. Keeping within a suitable distance, he just kept quiet. Ashton wasn’t badass, he was just grumpy and irritated all the time. His orange hues observed the red headed feline, wondering faintly if the other really would like his company anyways.
”I was trying to find somewhere comfortable to nap really…” Ashton admitted, relaxing his stance a little as he stood by the other. He’d never seen this place before, though he never got to close to territory lines. The dark haired feline wasn’t interested in the territory battles, doing his best to stay under the radar. “That mutt just has it out for me I suppose…I’ve had quite a few run in’s with him” He mumbled a little and dusted off any grossness on his nice coat. With the amount of colorful patches and such on it; it was easy to see he’d been through some toughness with it on.
“So you play Mr Super Hero often?’ he teased with a smirk, ruffling his own hair casusally.

The larger cat shrugged, a sly smile flitting onto his lips. “Not particularly, only when I’m bored or it happens in my territory.” Aidan picked up a bit of fish from the revolving bar, and grinning even more fondly when the sake came.
“Bottoms up!” he smiled, lifting his drink to his lips and taking a rather large gulp. He was going to need it if he had to go face Hikari any time soon. The Siberian hadn’t recruited anyone, and he still didn’t really like the idea of having kits. Women these days.
“Dogs are simple minded animals, you must have pissed it off somewhere along the way.” Aidan’s eyes shifted around the bar, taking in who was there and who wasn’t. Usually this was where his enemies met to talk about how the other leader had done a better job… but it mattered not to Aidan, it was fun listening to who said what.
That whole keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer ideal.
