It was a cold day with overcast skies to set a gloomier mood. Most the critters around the area were snuggled up cozily in burrows or hollowed tree stumps, but one little fellow happened to be out, right on the edge of a decently sized lake. "Look at those waves..." a little fellow by the name of Jack said with adoring eyes as he watched the tiniest of swells dance on top of the water. At least there was wind to spice things up on the water's surface for his amusement. Jack loved the water. He wanted to sail over it, to enjoy the dreams he has of being on a ship. He's seen them, observed them before while inside one of their buildings. Ever since the first ship he saw he was hooked. So there he was, admiring the rocking and rolling of the waves.

"Ew... what an icky day." Pixie headed out anyways. Her tail flickered as she searched for teeth, so far none was to be found, nor a soul to be seen.
She frowned until she saw Jack. Which brightened her mood considerably. Bouncing over to him she slide to a stop and grinned. "Do you have teeth? Can I see? Any hurting you or are loose and need to be disposed of?" She asked grinning and bright eyed.
"You see I've been looking and looking and I've yet to find any teeth!" She seemed slightly distressed over this fact of the matter. However she didn't wavier any information about herself, she stared at Jack expecting from him an answer and to provide what she wanted.

Jack was patting the waters surface as it rocked gently back and forth from him. He was careful not to get to wet because getting wet and then being out in weather like this, you were bound to catch something. "Yo ho, Yo ho... a pirates life for me," he sang ever so softly, and let a certain feel of longing embed itself into the feelings. What seemed to be out of nowhere, a voice called out suddenly. Jack spun around ever so quickly, his tail accidentally dragging behind him and landing right in the shallow shores of the water. "AH!" he gave a quick shout and leaped forward at the girl, but only to protect his tail from the chilly waters.
Once his tail was pulled ashore and he managed to wrap it up beside him as he sat he gave a quick glare at the girl. "Arr, what's the big idea? You trying to shove me off into the waters, eh?" He was very stern with his words and his eyes narrowed to add more feeling to his hostility. When she came to explaining about how she's been looking for teeth he gave a skeptical look and glanced around. "Teeth? What would you need such things for?" He looked down at his tail and tried to flick off some of the water with a twitch here and there.

Pixie stood there blinking at him when he shouted and giggled at him, "You're funny~"
She shook her head hearing his questions, "Nono, I don't want to.... shove? you into the water." She seemed a bit unsure of this first one, "Why would I when you have or might know where there are teeth!"
She paused thinking he seemed like he wanted to be a pirate. She thought her tail flickered before shaking her head, "They're my treasure!" She said suddenly. "I want to collect them but no one has lost any or know of anything that has lost any! It's quite distressing."
She pouted slightly as she looked at Jack with big eyes, "You can't help can you~?"

Jack listened to her intensely, eying the girl and seeing her as a problem rather than a potential friend. However, when she happened to mention treasure, the wannabe pirate perked up his ears. "Treasure? You want to find your treasure?" This was obviously an all new situation now that the word treasure was thrown into the mix.
He stood up, walking around as if to inspect the poor girl. "You wanna find teeth because they're your treasure? Well, I would love to help you track it down. I'm sure there has got to be some teeth around." He glanced around the area and gave a sudden sniff of the air as if it would help him locate a tooth for her. It was really just for show, though, sadly. "This way, girl," he ordered before approaching her and giving her a soft nudge before walking off towards the more wooded area. Maybe there were some teeth around the tree trunks.

Pixie nodded, "Yes my treasure~"
She grinned as he started helping her and she herself started sniffing around as well as she followed him, "Do you look for treasure often?" She asked curiously as her tail flickered. She paused, "Ohh my name's pixie puff." She said with a nod and a grin.

Jack sniffed and sniffed his way through the darker forest. What little light from the sky was shaded away by the big bushy treetops overhead. "Hm, Pixie Puff? Mind if I call you Puff?" He glanced over his shoulder momentarily for an answer but when one wasn't given immediately he turned back to sniffing the ground. It seemed so sudden when a foul smell filled his nose and he shook his head quickly. "Ick... I think I might have found something, Puff," he began to quicken his pace lifting his head up more and just searched instead of smelled for the thing he was looking for. He was like rotting corpse. "You smell that?"

Pixie chuckles, "You can call me puff."
She wrinkled her nose, "Oh... eww..... that's a bad smell." She shook her head as she followed. "So... now what?" Her ears perked as she was trying not to focus on the smell.

Jack smirked back at the darling girl and began to walk in a distinct line, towards the scent that seemed to get stronger and stronger. "Just follow me, poppet and you'll have your teeth soon enough." He continued to wander through the forest until he reached an unbearable point. The smell was so strong. "It's got to be around here somewhere," he said managing not to gag. "You know... you see any dead things around?" he asked as if it didn't bother him in the least bit.

At some point she stopped and wrinkled her nose, it was impossible to go any closer for her. "I hear flies over that way." She pointed there was a strong sound of buzzing coming from over near the base of one of the trees.
She wanted to come closer but she just couldn't bring herself to do that. Her nose was wrinkled.

Jack glanced back over his shoulder when he didn't hear the fall of dainty footsteps behind him anymore. "Huh? What's the matter?" he asked her, spinning around to face her direction. When he realized she was wrinkling her nose he gave a short sigh. "Oh, I see. Well, you just stay there and I'll bring back the treasure."
The light furred Wish wondered into the underbrush where the flies seemed to dip in and out of. Soon, he came upon a rotting corpse and apart of that undead thing was a skull, and skulls had teeth. He winced at the smell but managed to kick the head of what appeared to be something squirrel like, until it's teeth rattled and chipped free of the head. Gathering them up he brought them back in a leaf he had found on the ground before dropping them in front of her. "The treasure!" He announced happily to the girl.

Pixie squealed, "Oh yay~ Treasure." Her tail flickered happily. He was the first one to help her.
"Hum... do you think they need to be washed?" She asked looking at him curiously as she picked up the leaf waiting to see if he'd walk with her away from the dead thing.

The little pirate like fellow seemed to quickly answer her, "Without A Doubt! I recommend it." He stared as she lifted the teeth up with the leaf and watched, making sure she didn't drop any. As she wandered away from the stench Jack followed her, seeing as how he didn't want to exactly stay there either. "Well, you're glad that you've found some teeth now, right? I helped you find your treasure?"

She nodded, her mouth slightly full with the leaf trying to figure out how to carry it and talk at the same time. Crossing her eyes looking at her nose when they were however far enough away from the dead thing she sat down the teeth gingerly.
"Yes. Thank you~" She grinned and looked at the teeth, "Hum.... now where could they be washed. I think the pond might eat them and that wouldn't be good."
Her tail flickered as she thought looking around, "Maybe there's a puddle.... or wait it hasn't really rained yet has it?" She seemed to frown at that thought that there might not be a puddle, as she looked at them. They were nice teeth however not completely white but that was to be expected right? She grinned. "You never said your name." She added in curiously.

Jack tilted his head as Pixie mentioned something about puddles. That was a perfect idea. A nice shallow puddle to dip them in would erase the risk of a strong current or little wave washing them down to god knows where. "It hasn't rained in a few days, but... by the looks of them clouds I'd say it's pretty darn close to a drizzle. Maybe we could just set them in the rain and have them clean off that way. It seems easier than dipping them in a puddle over and over again." He tilted his head towards her and figured they would need a place to lay down in safety from the rain, but also be close to the teeth to watch them get clean.
The lightly colored male walked over and picked the teeth up carefully in his mouth before Pixie even had a chance to ask him the question about his name, but however, when he did, he remained silent. He wasn't sure if telling her with a mouth full of importance was a good idea. He motioned for her to follow his lead and soon enough they were on the edge of the forest, where a decaying tree was hollowed out. Probably the home of something that had left long ago. Jack set the teeth down and curled up inside of the tree trunk. "It's a little cramp, but we can both squeeze. That way when it does rain, which I think will be soon, you and I can see the teeth get clean." He waited for her to come inside but maybe she was still expecting an answer for that question of hers. With a small sigh he finally exposed himself more than he would have liked to, "Jack... the name is Jack."
