I went to see the Inglourious Basterds today, it was way better than I had imagined. It lasted for so long but it never got boring! I suppose I could even say it is my new favorite.

The worst film I have seen (and the only one that instantly popped into my mind) must be 28 days later. It was terrible and boring, I didn't even watch it through and because of that I've no idea what happened in the end. The saddest part about it is that I own a copy of the said film. sweatdrop

So, what is your favorite movie? Or on the other hand, which movie made you want to rip your hair off?

I never really had a fave movie. I don't think I have a least fave yet.

I like a lot of Disney movies like Pocahontas and Hercules.
My favorite movie would have to be Spirited Away though. I love that movie. <3
Not really sure about my least favorite movie. D:

I love Disney films! I can't pick my favorite but I love Mulan and Hercules. A friend of mine doesn't want to watch Mulan because she was scared of the hunns when she was little. I find it rather amusing. biggrin

My sister and I love Disney movies, we watch them a lot.

I think my favorite is Pocahontas and I know she likes Aladdin.

Oh god, the town/city whatever I live in, all of the women in their 40's call everyone 'Hun' and when they say that, it makes me think of the Hunns from Mulan. It makes me laugh.

I watched Spirited Away yesterday. So that and Howl's Moving Castle are tied for my favorite movie.

I also like Sweeney Todd, I like the songs and singing along with them lol. biggrin

The only Miyazaki films I like are Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle. It's a shame I don't have them. D:

Any movie that you can only stand to watch once is pretty much on my long list of least favorites.

The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, for example.
A good movie - but I was bawling at the end of it.

I wanted to watch Pocahontas the other day, but my video wouldn't work. ;-; I hope they have Pocahontas on DVD or something. I was so pissed.
So I watched Hercules instead.

@puremua
OMG my little sister is scared of the leader of the huns. xD We used to have like a McDonalds toy of him, and she was so scared of that toy when she was little.

@Pika
I've never seen Sweeney Todd or any Sailor Moon movies.
Why didn't you like the Sailor Moon movies?

@Fetus
Yay! Another Pocahontas lover!
xD I used to have a friend who would always call me "hun".
I haven't seen all of Howl's Moving Castle. I watched like parts of it when it was on Cartoon Network that one time.

@Penny
I've never seen that movie. What was it about? :0

When I was a little kid, I used to watch certain Disney films over and over again and I would sing along with the characters - I think at one time I knew a lot of the songs by heart, haha. The one's I watched the most were Pocahontas, Mulan, Hercules, The Lion King (of god I loved it so much), The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast. I feel like watching one of those again but I don't know if my video player works anymore, it's so old. D:

I have another least favorite movie, the Devil's Advocate. The ending was so random and the "epilogue" was predictable & I almost fell asleep during the film. sad

Used to watch good 'ol Disney all the time too. 8D I really miss their old style - but I can live without the musicals.

Anywho, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas is pretty much about the Holocaust where a German boy, Bruno, befriends a Jewish boy within the concentration camp located just a few miles from his home.

It is not a happy tale.

I can never pick just one favorite.

I absolutely loved The Lord of the Rings trilogy. The Two Towers never fails to make me cry. When I saw it in theaters with my older sister, she told me to shut up because I started crying. D:

Also, I love the Harry Potter movies, wish they stuck to keeping true to the books a bit more but I still enjoyed them.

I love The Lord of the Rings trilogy! My friend and I had a LotR marathon recently and we watched the extended versions of the films. They were so much better and more funny. biggrin

I like Harry Potter movies too but I must admit I hated the Order of the Pheonix film. The latest movie, The Half-Blood Prince was okay in my opinion but I guess that's because I hadn't read the book just before going to see the film. I hate how they make films more romcom instead of focusing on the plot/making it follow the books more. sad

Oh man, I started reading The Lord of the Rings in 7th grade and I used to get picked on by girls for it. And then when the movies came out, the same girls that picked on me where going around with Legolas shirts.

I absolutely love love love the extended versions. I had the extended versions of The Fellowship and The Two Towers for the longest time because I couldn't find Return of the King in any stores near me. I finally went into Five Below and they had it for $5. Made me a happy girl.

With the Harry Potter movies I was kind of miffed when they started having them wear normal clothes during most of it when in the first movie they pretty much just wore their uniforms. And then I felt like JKR totally ruined it by adding crappy romance. Leave the romance to Fanfiction kay? I just want my wizards to be fighting, not fondling each other.

And Hermione doesn't even have bushy hair anymore wtf. You can't sit there through 7 books calling it bushy and then after the second movie make it all nice and nonbushy. D:<

It took me four months to read the whole trilogy on 5th grade (at least I think I was eleven...) haha. It makes me sad I don't own the extended versions of the films, I had to borrow them from a classmate. D:

Yeah, my thoughts exactly! It irks me how JKR has to ruin everything with romance, especially since she's not very good at writing it in my opinion. And yes, Hermione's hair and it's nonbushyness annoys me to no end, along with the muggle clothes.

In the end of the sixth film, why was Hermione so important? Ron just sat there doing nothing. And that "by the way, Ron's okay with you and Ginny" was so random and out of place. sad
