Chobi:
Nyarai was off on his own gathering brightly colored flowers. The little red cub loved to go out and pick flowers. Though some times the flowers came with a little extra that he had not intended. Such as bugs or spiders.
The little cub had a great deal of flowers in his maw and weaved about his mane. Just a few more and he'd have a great collection he could give his mom. But something stopped those plans. It hung down from his ear and greated him with a wink. SPIDER!
The little red boy screamed and dropped all his flowers running in a random direction. Unlucky for him, a tree was in his randomly chosen path. Noel, as he called him self, ran head first into the tree.
BAM.
Syr:
Liza always watched the cubs, especially the males. the females seemed to keep them selves mostly out of trouble, but little boys found them selves in worlds of hurt if they wern;t supervised. As he was the only male in the den, and holding on to a three litter family, this meant he spent a lot of time running around.
Koi's sister Gurami had joined them in the den with her five cubs, only one male graced the litter and he felt quite fond of the lad. He was an odd colour to the rest of his odd litter, but he was also the only boy. As the young male wrapped himself around a tree, the pale yellow male moved from his observation point and padded over to the deep red male.
"Y..y..you shshould bubube more cccareful Nyarai, iif you wrwrwrap yyourself around a tttree, you'll hurt yourself." The very large male bent down and righted the cub carefully, grooming him gently searching for any cuts or grazes which would need attention. His deep, auburn eyes smiled down at the little red cub and he shakes his silky dark maned head. "Whwhat frfrightened you ssso to mmmake you run in to the tttree?"

The small cub opened his eyes to find a familiar yellow lion. Mom? Man his vision had been affected by that run in with that tree. Not anything perminate though. After a few moments, and hearing the other talk he could tell it wasn't his mom.
"I'll be alright Liza," He shut his eyes tight and shook his head. "Spider.... A spider. Must be the work of some evil spirits or something.." The cub put a paw to his temple. He'd be alright, it wasn't his first knock to the head.
The spider rested quite contently ontop of Noel's head. If spiders could grin, this one would be. The cub was blissfully unaware that the spider was still on him. If he knew, there might be another repeat tree happening.
Syr:
Liza shook his head. "Whwhwhy would you fffear a spider? Ththey are smsmaller than us." He stutters lifting a dark toed paw to Noels head encouraging the spider forwards. "WWWithout spspiders, we would be ovovoverrun with flies. ththeya re our allies not our enemies." He looks down at the young cub, with a gentle careing smile. He knew some feard spiders but he had always had a great respect for them.
"YYou shouldn't fffear them." he manages, "Spspiders can be our friends as lllong as wwwe are pupupaitint with them." He nuzzles the cubs temple gently, feeling carefully for any bump that might be forming, any injuries on his watch could potentially be punished. He was always careful, almost wrapping his cubs in bubble wrap.

Noel frowned, and made a small noise when it was revealed the spider had still been on him. He didn't like spiders, not at all. The cub didn't want to kill them for no reason but he was happy if they were way over some where else away from him and his sexy looks.
"They aren't fashionable," The cub said sticking out his tongue at the spider. "I don't like them at all. They are icky and gross and icky."
Yeah, Noel was not mature. Not at all. But he was a cub right?
"Sides, they eat butterflies which are super fashionable." The cub smiled up at Liza. "I'm fine Liza, really." He gave the lion his biggest charming grin.
Syr:
Liza shook his head putting his paw to the very tree that Noel had banged in to he nudged the spider in to it's branches.. "FFashion young one?" He raised a curious brow, wondering what the cubw as thinking. With a slight sig he lays down, and pulls the cub closer. "YYyou should bbbe learning to be a gggood parastar Nayarai, yyou will dishonour your mmmother if you do not become a good male."
He sighs lightly, "You are a lllittle young but perhaps it is tttime I had the talk with you. I know you hhave no father sososso it will fffall to me to tell you I suppose."

Dishonour his mother? The cubs shot straight up and his face looked a bit horror stricken. That was something he did not want to do. Not at all, he would not want to affect his mother and sisters and families chances at being something better when they were reborn.
The cub snuggled closer to Liza and just listened.
"Wh-whats kind of talk?" The cub was charming even when he was distressed. I swear sparkles shot from his gorgeous gray eyes even when he didn't mean to.
Syr:
Liza takes a breath, he had given this talk before, to older males usually, but he felt that this one needed the talk now before he got too engrossed in himself. "YYou know that we as mmmales wee put here to serve females? Ththat we are nothing if we dddo not serve them with all our hearts?"
He looks at the young male with concern in his eyes. "Iif you take too much ttime for your ssself you will loose track of whwhat you will be, what you shshould be. I ddo not wish for my mmmistress to be dishonoured. Sshe is a good mistress and yyou are her nnnephew." He takes a small breath "DDid your mmmother sit you down and ttell you the hhhistory?" He looked down at the little red cub, some mothers did, some mothers left it to the fathers. he was the only father the three litters would truely see, so it was his responsability in the long run to inform all the males of their rightful places.

Noel chewed his lower lip some, he could tell this talk was going to be a long one. Hopefully his attention span would keep up.... do not think of bright colors.. noo.. bad Noel. His mind started to swim with brightly colored butterflies and fun colored females. He smiled and nodded. It appeared he was listening but really the dreamy male was off in bright colored land where the colors talked.
The cub bit his lip hard sending him spiraling back to his body.
"History?" The cub blinked up at Liza. "Some what? I know we aren't as awesome as females and umm.." Noel closed his eyes trying to recall what his mother had said. It was painful to watch as the young male tried to recall what his mother had said.
All he could remember were that the colors had talked to him. So bright. Haha, colors were awesome.
Yeah, it could be concluded that the boy wasn't all there.
Syr:
Liza looked down at the cub, he knew that look, the look of the lost. Liza had been taught by beatings and claw to bide by his mistresses and he wans't about to see this cub destroy Kopis reputation. "pPpay attention." He stutters lifting the cubs chin and frowning. "YYou must always pay attention. TThe fffemale whom picks yyou will expect obedience. shshe may not bbbe as tolerant as Kkoi and your mmother and cousin. She may sttrike you if shshe feels you hhave done wrong." Liza frowned, he himself had been beaten very baddly by his own mother. That time was past with Koi in charge but he remembered the wrath of the claw.
"MMmy own mmother bbbeat me mmany times and ththat was her rright, but if I had bbbeen a bbbetter male I wwould nnot have gotten sso much. Yoyoyou mmust pay attention to your mimimistress always."

Noel frowned, "Beat you?" The cub frowned, hed been lucky to be born to a gentle mother. She had made it clear he was no way equal to his sisters bue she had never shunned him or raised a paw to him. The fact that a mother would raise a paw to a cub made Noels tummy turn a little.
The cub swallowed his question, 'but who would strike some one so good looking?'. By the prides standards Liza was stunning with his bright colored coat. Noel always envied those with bright coats. He loved his own coat, but it wasn't as special as the brighter lions.
"I'll... I'll listen.." The colors faded.

Liza smiles at the youngster, although the cub was not his own he was his responsibility as the only male in the family. His mistress, his daughter and Gurami all together with three litters, he was responsible for all of them, making sure they were well behaved and knew their places.
"MMy own mother was harsh with me, I was never gggood enough for her. you must uphold your families nununame and not disappoint me or your momother. pupay attention tot what your mother and the the females tttell you and you will be a prprproud parastar whwhen you grow up."
The large yellow lion leans over and grooms the little cub fondly, he knew noel just wanted to play and be a cub and that was fine, but his place in the pride had to be instilled at an early age, just as it was for him.
"NNow, lets get buback and I will teach you a gugame of bbob stones." He smiles gently, he hoped he hadn't scared the cub, he was still young after all, but he had given all of his own sons over time the know your place speech, he protected his family, his mistresses family, they were his whole life and no one could upset that, no one could hurt koi's pride.
Chobi:
Noel listened , honor, that seemed important. When Liza bent over to groom him, the cub couldn't help but giggle madly and swat at Liza playfully. Mention of a game got him all that more excited. A game, it had gone from lecture to a game. This was why he liked Liza, Noel decided.
"A game!? " The cub was up on all fours beaming at the larger lion infront of him, "Alright, but you're gonna have to teach me that one. I usually just play dress up with flowers," The lion smiled and rubbed up against Liza's arm. A small purr could be heard coming from the cubs throat.

"I will teteach you, I dd. enjoy a gggame of bob stones" He stutters, resting his deep dark orange eyes upon the little cub.
Liza smiles gently at noels purr and scoops the cub up in a paw nuzzling him in a friendly manner before he takes the youngster by the scruff of his neck and makes a bee-line for the dens. He only hoped his little talk had given the young lion some food for thought.
Chobi:
Noel smiled as he was picked up and harbored in the bigger males mouth. Really, he was a pretty docile lion. Easily distracted but his heart was in the right place.
The cub yawned and slowly drifted to sleep in Liza's maw. Maybe the lecture had been a little to much excitment for one day.
