Shal enters the large dinning hall and begins to eat his meal. He had went through a line and had some eggs pouched and placed on toast. He sat and Ate silently to him self.

Saline walked in the room, looking over her shoulder to make sure she wasnt being followed, what a pain. She looked arund her and sat at a table , twidling her thumbs, her unusual cat ears twitched as she looked at her thumbs. It wasnt her fault she was so often mistaked for a guy, or was it, but as long as her teachers knew she was a girl. She'd be fine.

Jennifer Sparrow walked over and sat by saline. "hello dear, i love the ears!" Jen smiled warmly and looked towards her new friend. Hopefully they could be friends. As Jen waited for the response, she played with a pearl pirced in her ear.

Saline jumped some "Hello and thank you." She said in a mellow voice, the girl had startled her. But that wasnt a reason not to be polite, Saline continued to twidle her thumbs, hoping the girl could tell she was a girl. Why didnt people notice she wasnt a boy?

Through Jennifer's water crafting, She felt the surprise from her companion. Jennifer looked at her curiosly, trying to sort out the reason for this persons discomfort. Usually Jennifer did not make boys feel so uncomfortable by sitting near them, indeed it usually was very pleasant. Jennifer sighed after a while, "What is it darling?"

"Hello, my name is Shaloop" Shal bowed his head, "Any one sitting here?"

Saline looked at the girl "Oh....Nothing." She told her then noticed the boy, his name was Saloop. "I guess not. You wanna sit?" She offered, her cat ear twitched some as she stopped twiddling her thumbs. "It's nice to meet you both." She smiled. Her smile was small.

Saline brushed her bangs from her face some then looked at the girl "I'm sorry, I didnt catch your name." She said politely. She stretched her somewhat lanky arms then put them in her lap, she sat indian style at the table.

Jennifer gasped allowed, feeling blush rising in her cheeks.
"How rude of me!" Jennifer cleared her throat than began again, "Hello, I am Jennifer Sparrow. Daughter of Jack Sparrows. I hail from the coast." Jen raised her right hand out to the individual seated strangely.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Saline Nightingale, Daughter of.....uh.... I have no clue. But I hail from the well outskirts" Saline smiled. She'd never knew her parents, she'd didnt tell anyone though, she didnt want to be adopted or anything like that. The thought freaked her out more than anything. Saline yawned and shook Jennifer's hand.
