It wasn't long after moving in that Alanis had redecorated her room. She wanted the place to be welcoming and friendly. The room had light lavender walls and a fuzzy dark purple rug on the floor. Her bed spread was violet with light purple stripes and had many fuzzy pillows most were variant shades of purple. Overall her bed was very frilly and girly, but very comfortable looking. It was a canopy bed and had purple velvet curtains tied to the dark wood banisters. Her walls had pictures all over them of her friends and family. They were mainly there to help her with her homesickness. This was the longest she'd ever been away from them. There was a light wood dresser with all of her clothing and a side table with a dark purple lamp. Across from her bed she had a dresser which had some papers, her laptop, a desk lamp, and a few other things on it.

Alanis lays on her bed with a book in hand her legs move back and forth in a rhythmic motion. She seems intently focused on reading it and was playing with the crystal around her neck as she did. There is soft foreign music playing in the background. The song is "Because I'm a Girl" sung by Kiss although many wouldn't recognize it.

Darklyte was heading down the hallway, back to her room, when she caught a new scent. I wonder who that might me? She thinks to herself. Her eyes turn to their deep emerald shade of green. She focuses her white wolf ears with black tips on the door from where the scent is coming from. Darklyte then knocks on the door to see who it is. Might as well introduce myself since I am here. She just hopes that her features don't frighten the new student too badly.

Alanis looks up to the door hearing the knock. Oh good someone is here! She gets up and opens the door and grins brightly seeing Darklyte. "Hello! I'm Alanis... Oh wow your ears are cool... I thought we weren't supposed to have them? Ummm... anyways... would you like to come in?" She blushed slightly feeling like she'd said too much and stood back to let her in the very purple room.

Darklyte's white wolf tail with black tip sways slowly and steadily behind her as she listens to the new student. Her eyes remain the deep green emerald color and her abnormally long fangs are clearly visible due to the tips poking out of her mouth. Well, looks like my ears didn't bother her any, just hope that my tail, nails, and fangs don't either. When Darklyte gets the chance, she bows, revealing her tail behind her. "I am Darklyte." She then stands back up and cautiously enters the room. Wow... must really like purple... "I live in room 13, if you need anything, please feel free to contact me." Darklyte then decides to answer Alanis' about her ears. "It is true, we are suppose to look as human looking as possible. Unfortunately, this is as human looking as I can get." Darklyte states with some emphasis on the word is.

"Oh well... I think it's awesome. I wish I had ears and a tail. It'd be so cool! Ummm... anyway I'll be sure to visit you." She began to fiddle with her purple crystal while talking. "What's it like here? I really haven't seen much yet."

"It has its disadvantages." Darklyte states referring to Alanis saying that she wishes she had ears and a tail. "People recognize you too easily, which is a bad thing for me..." Darklyte trails off so as not to reveal too much about herself to the new student. "It mainly depends upon the day." Darklyte answers truthfully. "It is normally pretty quiet around here and there is quite a bit of freedom. We don't really have a teacher, so we just hang out and pretty much do whatever. As long as the rules are being followed of course."

She smiled at he and let go of the crystal. "I know how you feel. Having purple hair sort of makes you stick out too. Not as bad, but you get what I'm saying. Oh, but of course. I won't lie it's going to be hard not being able to be what I normaly am." She found it hard to say that with out giving anything away. "But I really want to be here. My boyfriend goes to this school too, but I'm not sure where to find him.

Darklyte's hair is black with white tips and streaks, so she knows about the hair thing as well. "There are only a few occasions where you can reveal what it is you truly are." Darklyte explains. "If no one is around, or you allow it in your room, you can change forms. If there is something serious going on where you have to change, life or death type of deal, then that is allowed as well. Though we do ask that the students leave the area of immediate danger so that the crew members will be able to handle the situation more effectively." Darklyte tilts her head to the left side. "Boyfriend?" She asks.

"I'll be sure to keep that in mind, though I'm pretty sure it is fairly obvious that you make a guess as to what I am." Darklyte's ears twitch upon hearing Lorexian's name. "Yes, I know him. I went on a hunt with him one day." Darklyte answers.
