(( Please tell me if I'm doing this right! :/ ))

Hajari walked along the damp streets of the city, a branch in hand as he ran it along the wooden planks of neighborhood fences for amusement. At his side walked a tabby-striped wolf, halo above her head and gem-encrusted chest glittering in what little sunlight was available through the clouded sky. MoogerMint disliked the idea of Hajari roaming the streets alone, but thought it wise to let the little one do some exploring nonetheless. As a child, she herself would play around in a forest with her younger sibling and sometimes her older sister, and decided as long as one of her wolves went with him he could go. As the Beta female of the pack, and very maternal instincts, Kouya no Kiku seemed perfect for that role.

Hajari sighed, looking up towards the rain clouds in the sky as he walked down the empty sidewalk. "What do you think is up there?" he asked his companion. Since he hadn't earned his flight feathers yet, he was always curious about all aspects of flight and the sky.

Kouya glanced skyward herself and gave a wolfish grin. "Heaven, of course. And the angels that live there," she replied softly. Since their time at the Banir Kinder Adoption Center, MoogerMint and her wolf pack had learned all about the celestial realm, and the fiery one as well. The information intrigued them, and they found themselves learning everything they could about those places in case they ended up adopting a child from either.

Hajari's eyes grew wide as a thought crept into his mind, "Do you think I could see Heaven? When I learn to fly?"

Kouya shook her head. "No, it is beyond any mortal's reach. As for angels, there are many around the BKAC you could meet."

Hajari sighed once more. "I know..." he replied, again dreading an encounter with anyone outside of close-knit family. Why did he have to be so nervous? Why couldn't he learn to accept others into his life? It was all so hard for him, feeling like an outcast because of it. But deep down he knew others had it worse... much worse. Maybe... someday, he could grow out of it.
