Much like our own world, it would take a lifetime to cover with any amount of entirety the total nuances; however, knowledge of the planet still exists, and it is here that this topic is covered.

1030 - The Nidraa'chal emerge, spreading their demonic affliction through Chel'el'Sussoloth, to the willing and unwilling alike.
1082 - The Val'Sharess orders an Inquisition targeting the ver'drowendar, the Inquisition causes the downfall of many lesser clans and Houses, and the Val'Dutan'vir are decimated, not only because of the loss of their tainted members, but also the outrage at how their Queen could do such a thing to those most loyal to her. An assassination attempt by a tainted slave on a Beldrobbaen val causes Waes'soloth to purge her clan of slaves and servants in a bloody massacre. Commoners riot in the streets. The Sharen finally go to war as the Nidraa'chal place the Val'Sharess' tower under siege. Ilharess Sannindi'ligr Val'Dutan'vir is assassinated by the Nidraa'chal and the Val'Dutan'vir crumble.
1082 - The Nidraa'chal Coup d'etat
1082 - The Val'Sharess goes in to reclusion after the war, Sharen clan goes Vel, tainting becomes mandatory within the clan. Only a few avoid being seeded.
1084 - Vel'Vloz'ress clan's birth, taking the place once occupied by the Val'Dutan'vir.
1097 - A whole generation of Beldrobbaen girls perish in an 'accident' at Orthorbbae, when a tainted teacher is overtaken by her seed. Naal'suul, tainted to the core, is the only survivor.
1098 - Sarghress / Sharen hostility at it's peak.
1098 - Netherworld gates within the city. Kyorl'solenurn begins the hunt of the Vloz'ress.
1098 - Kyorl'solenurn and Vloz'ress forces fight on Sarghress territory out in the wilds.

Dark elf info:Generation System

The Generation System something created for the purposes of tracking an individual's lineage, mainly by marking the purity of their blood from their dark elf progenitors. It serves the purpose of classifying individuals, and serves as a mark of respect, while also allowing those older drow who do not care to keep track of their ages a way to refer to themselves. In reality, referring to one's self in generation terms only measures how many times removed from a dark elf ancestor one is, and is not a viable basis for gauging age. As the society is matrilinear the mother's lineage is the one which counts.
For example: If a Second Generation woman has a six-hundred year old daughter, and gives birth to another girl within the past year, both are Third Generation regardless of the age difference. Thus, most younger drow still track age and it isn't until they lose interest in watching years that they switch to the generation system.
A First Generation is a dark elf that is living in the underworld. Because they were born prior to coming to the underworld, they are still full-blooded dark elves and have the dark elf coloring. Subsequent generations look more and more drow-like the farther removed from the dark elves they get, which results in a general washing out of prominent features, such as hair or eye colors. While a tenth generation might have some hint of color to their hair, the third generation may also show signs of developing white hairs.
