Raelin moved down the pathway, her head held high as usual. Now that she was on her own once more, she was exploring and searching for somewhere proper she could call home. The unfortunate part, was most of the Alphas and packs she had seen so far were just stupid, unorginized and not something she would ever be able to fit into.

They didn't reccognize her beauty, or how important she was. Why was she important? Because she was. A small huff left her as she trot through the forrest, catching a few odd scents. She must have been getting closer to a new territory. Her tongue darted out to wet her lips properly, pausing at a small stream to get some water. She only left herself vulerable for a few moments, her bright eyes staring out at the world to make sure that she didn't lose sight of anything important.

No one was.. dominant enough. Though she was quite dominant herself, what she secretly wanted was someone who was even more dominant than she was. Not likely to happen, unfortunatly. She wasn't going to admit that want aloud, though.

With a huff, she moved past the stream to look and see what she could find.

All seem at a slow simmer within the back, their was a lot of relations that could possible explode but that came with the nature of the wolves that made up the pack, united by one thing; there were all hungry for things generally unacceptable by other wolves, dark things.

Haemon found himself walking through the morning dampened grass enjoying a bit of solitude. He was a tall wolf, dwarfing even his alpha, though he wasn't heavily built and being only of lean build led to him having a somewhat gangly appearance. His mind was upon Aitou and his current growing need for a mate, someone he could continue his line with, and finding someone of worth to bear his offspring.

His Shaman senses picked up the circulatory system of another wolf and he picked his head up from its more relax, lazy position and cast his eyes about the woodland. Continuing on the same path he noted the heartbeat of the other was slow, calm and even; another pack mate perhaps? Someone this close of the Reign's boarder provoked a spark of interest.

Slowly his eyes came to rest upon that of a female and a grin slipped up one side of his face, he was in luck. Creeping forward he greeted her, his voice a soft creeping sort of whisper, 'Good morning my pretty.' Blood red eyes pierced through her a look of hunger flashing across his face.

The approach of the lanky wolf surprised her a little, but she smirked a little a little when she saw him. Naitivty rose just a little within her and she had to let her smirk grow. He thought she was pretty, hm? She sat down and stared straight at him, not holding any fear in her eyes as she did what she good to take him in.

"Hello there," She mused back to him, not aware of how dangerous this wolf could be. "Though I would hardly consider myself your pretty." Her nose pressed into the air a little, her tail curling around her behind as she let her tongue out to wet her maw a bit.

He looked.. hungry, but she didn't think he would eat her. What kind of wolf fed off of another when there was many packs of game near by?

"Sorry if I stepped on your territory," The female with blood coloured paws stated, though she didn't sound very apologetic. "I'm looking for a pack. A strong one. But there doesn't seem to be any of them left in these lands."

The grin remained on his face and he sat himself down in front of her blood red eyes looking straight through her. 'My pretty, I suppose is more of an affectionate term of address, perhaps I used it out of context.'

He picked up on the tone of her voice as she addressed him and his grinned broaden slightly, she regarded herself rather highly and did not yet realise what she was dealing with here, foolish girl. 'Perhaps if you had been discovered by one of the more hot headed members of our pack, you'd be sorry for entering here. You have found yourself in the Reign of Terror's pack lands and I assure you this is a strong pack, so perhaps you have now reached your destination.'

His broad grin remained and something within him encouraged him to provoke the female, 'But then again, maybe not. The pack has no interest in taking in just any old riff raff.' A sparkle danced upon his eyes and he watched her for a reaction.

"I know what you meant, I'm not stupid." She barked at him a little, her nose sticking up even more. "I just don't belong to anyone." There was no one strong enough to dominate her, after all. She had too much of a fire, and that scared male wolves off fast. It wouldn't be long before she had control of the situation completely.

"Reign of Terror, hm?" The female wolf looked rather interested at that, tilting her head a little. However, his last sentance made her eyes light with fire and she snarled at him, hackles rising and easily getting riled up by the words. "You would do well to remember not to imply I'm a riff raff."

She wasn't large by any means, a bit smaller than the average female wolf and not overly built. But she had a fire that would not be tamed, so she would be more than happy to struggle in a fight and do what she had to so that she could win.

Haemon was generally very quick witted and he pounced upon her first set of words, 'Perhaps you do not belong to anyone, simply because no one will have you.' He rose from where he had sat himself in front of her and loomed over her, blood red eyes staring down at her.

She was just a little larger than Moghedien, the female his alpha seemed to have a fancy for, though still a rather petite female. He himself did not possess much bulk, simply lean but he was tall. He hung over her like a stretched shadow of a tree in the late afternoon sun. She reacted almost instantly to his provocation as her hackles raised and she growled threateningly at him.

He took a step forward, having to crane his neck slightly to still hold her stormy grey eyes, which seem to roll with an on coming storm and darkly he whispered back to her, 'Perhaps you had best remember you are on my pack's territory and that I will not be spoken to in such a manner, do you understand me?'

The first sentance hit something deep in her, an insecurity that she denied with every fiber of her being. Maybe no one really did want her. She was alone for the time being, after all. But she did let it affect her stance, she still did what she could to look threatening and harsh. He wasn't going to make her back down.

Still.. his last words were true. If the whole pack came after her, she would stand no chance and most likely be torn apart instantly. With her jaw still clenched, she pulled back a little and paused her growling. It didn't mean he had won, but she didn't want to give him real reason to have her murdered.

"So you rely on your pack to make sure that you are safe," She finally spoke once more, sitting back and sticking her nose in the air once more. As a female, she could have a wide range of emotions in just moments.

"Or is it that you simply want to manipulate me into leaving? Do I scare you?"

Haemon noted a change in her as he snapped at her, implying that no male wanted her and further still with his second address. She backed down slightly and settled into her original seated position, nose pointed skywards.

He laughed then, the sound devote of any true humour and his grin broaden, she was trying the same thing on him now and it wasn't going to work. He remained standing, staring down at her, forcing her to look up at him if she wanted to hold eye contact with him, he then holding the more dominant physical stance. 'I do not rely on my pack for my safety; I am more than competent of looking after myself. As for you scaring me...' He took a step forward and bent down to whisper in her ear. 'It is you that should be scared, but if you are a good girl you'll be fine.'

"I'm not scared." Raelin snapped back at him before she could think of anything better to say. This wolf.. what was he doing? He was messing with her mind and made her flustered and very upset. But that was what he wanted, right? The black, red and white wolf had to find a way to calm down.

When she noticed how dominant he was acting, and the fact that he was standing up, she looked away and tilted her nose in the other direction. By not looking at him, she was attempting to show a lack of fear. "I'm sure that you have plenty of 'good girls' to play with, but I am not going to kiss up to you or shiver in fear in hopes of being let off easy or impressing you. I don't need to impress you or anyone else."

Her head turned and she locked eyes with him once more, her storm never truly calming on the inside. "If you want me to get off the territory, say so. Don't beat around the bush."

Haemon pulled back from the female and he grin at her, his eyes focusing on her, rather that looking through her like he did with most wolves, most of the time as if looking at something only he would be able to see. The gesture was not comforting and the grin certainly wasn't. 'The question isn't whether you need to impress me or not, it's whether you could.' His grin broaden and his voice lowered, threateningly, 'And I doubt you could.' A spark danced across his eye and he in crouched on her again, brushing up against her and then walking straight by and turning to circle her from behind.

As he rounded on her he added, 'I'll beat about the bush if I choose, who are you to tell me what to do? Hm. But no, I do not think you could do anyone any harm so stay if you wish, why should I care?'

Raelin couldn't keep the growl from leaving her as she heard the words from the other. It was getting harder and harder to control herself, even though she knew she wouldn't win a fight. Who was he to talk to her that way? He didn't even know her. Her entire body tensed dramatically as she felt the other brush against her before circling her.

"I can do plenty of harm," The female hissed at him, her inner storm growing more dangerous, as though there was lightening striking inside of her. He was too good at these mind games and getting her riled up. Her hackles rose a little, claws sinking into the dirt beneathe her as she felt her tail twitch with irritation.

"If you're trying to get yourself roughed up, you're doing a pretty good job." She finally snapped, showing her teeth. "I'm not going to just let you ******** with me. Even if it gets me killed."

Haemon said nothing to the female for a moment and simply stared at her and then a frightful spark danced upon his eyes and he simply whispered to her, 'Temper temper my dear, I will not have such a thing, perhaps...' Haemon did not look at her in a sense she'd recognise, to her it'd appear as though he was looking straight through her, but he wasn't.

Concentrating he focused on the muscle of her heart and began to slow it down, therefore slowing down the blood that was now coursing about her body due to her anger and thirst for self defence. He held the rhythm and held it tight as he closed in on her and whispered softly in her ear, 'You are my pretty and I will do with you as I please, maybe I'll even decrease you heartbeat further and send you into a deep sleep.' He stared at her in the eye and placed a soft, lick on one side of her muzzle and then pulled away.

His grin was broad now and the spark still played upon his blood red eyes, 'But where would be the fun then...' he let go of his control on her circulatory system and watched to she if her pulse began to rise once again.

Shock rushed through her body as the male managed to control the beating of her heart, and the blood that flowwed through her. Her ears lowered as she felt her tail curl just a little under her. What.. what was happening to her? She closed her eyes to try to focus on her heart, but nothing she tried to do seemed to work at all.

Did this male have control over her blood? It didn't make any sense, but he seemed so pleased that her body felt a bit weaker.

"Are you.. doing this?" Her eyes snapped open when she felt the lick on her maw, flinching away and shooting him another glare. She couldn't just let him have the dominance even if.. he had some weird mystical powers.

When his control was let go of, she shook a little and did what she could to strengthen herself and let her blood flow back to normal. "Whatever it is that you plan on doing with me.. You won't do it." Her voice was softer than it was before, she was slightly frightened that he could stop her heart all together.

But she couldn't let him win.

She had back away from him, her eyes losing some of their fierce intensity and the threat she voiced was now empty, her voice quivering ever so slightly, yet noticeably. He shook his head in disappointment, she had so much potential but still so naive. He admired her feisty attitude but it was not married with any sense, she knew she was fighting a losing battle and yet she still did not give in, admirable but stupid. Her pride would be the death of her. His mind flickered to the other females he had meet recently and notably to Aitou who showed the same level of self reliance and feisty behaviour yet sense to know when to bow and admit she had lost.

He stared at her then and softly her replied, 'Yes, I was doing it. Perhaps on your travels you've come across rumours or tales of Shamans?' He searched her eyes for any sign of recognition before reassuring her, 'I do not plan on doing anything to you, not any more...' He looked at her meaningfully then and turned her back on her and began to walk away. A small smile spread upon his lips and he muttered under his breath, though purposely loud enough for the female to hear him, 'And no one will have you, because you are not worth having.'

She would not let him control her even if it was the death of her. Stupid? Perhaps, but she would rather be dead than serve someone's every whim just to have a pathetic life. The hatred in her eyes darkened a little as he spoke. A Shaman, yes, her mother had told her about those, but she had negelected to mention they were purely evil. But.. he was leaving? Her vision went blurry for a moment at those last words.

He had hit that nerve again, the most sensative one she had. Not worth having.. Was that why her father left her behind? He was too good at this, messing with her head and forcing for her to feel pain. Without taking actual control, her heart was slowing again, ears lowered once more.

"If all males want are stupid push over females that bend to their wishes than I'd rather be alone!" She barked at his retreating form, having a feeling that he was more than happy to leave her there to be picked apart by his pack. Mixed emotions were rushing through her, but she couldn't keep her maw shut, she couldn't let him be right about her. "You'll just end up with some stupid b***h who crawls at your paws and begs for your love. If you find her more worthy than you are just as bad as the others."
